Everything about this hotel was top tier! From the warm welcome from Aaliyah, to the speedy check-in process, to the rooftop bar area, all the way to the decadent deluxe room!! This is the place to stay and I definitely plan to return in the very near future! Thank you The Thompson DC for an incredible experience - currently my favorite hotel ♥️

The rooms were wonderful and very modern in style! The location is perfect for the Nationals Park, the amazing restaurants or traveling into DC

This is the second time we stayed at the Thompson Washington D.C. We really appreciated the staff and everyone was friendly. Monique provided immediate assistance in fixing our safe and addressing another small issue. The breakfast was excellent and Allan, Lulu, and Andrew were extremely friendly and a great way to start the day with their greeting. The location is excellent and close to the metro or within walking distance if you choose. We will definitely return again when in DC!

Great experience. Friendly staff, beautiful and clean hotel, an amazing room. Breakfast was not included, but was a good deal and delicious. Overall, clean, spacious and modern room, delicious food, and great staff.

This is hard to post. This used to be my go to place when traveling to DC. I don’t believe I will be returning.
I can’t post the full story, but after guarantee that both charges that I had issues with would be taken off our bill, they weren’t.
• we were charged $120 for disgusting room service dinner that we sent the food back for
• we were charged overnight valet parking when I turned in my ticket saying we found street side parking and wasn’t utilizing the service.
As beautiful as the hotel was, the customer service has definitely gone downhill (I’m a repeat customer). So disappointing

The staff were very kind, well mannered, and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed. The room was very nice and clean. I give this hotel a 10/10 and would definitely recommend. When I come back to the area I will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

The beer is decent and the food was soso. I had a Caesar salad which I thought had too much dressing and the mussels. The mussels were good though! I had 2 sour beers which I both liked and a HUGE glass of white wine. I was impressed with the large pour. The waitstaff weren’t the nicest, which irked me because it wasn’t busy at all. The atmosphere is pretty cool and I’d love to go back during the summer or in a few weeks because they have heaters outside.

Highly recommend this brewery. Fantastic service, friendly employees, and great beer. Swing by on the weekend and grab a tour or during the weekday for a delicious beer.

Great space to hang out. Service in the free seating area was inattentive and slow. Pickle plate is good value, but the pickles weren’t pickled enough. Brussel sprouts and kielbasa were outstanding.

I visited in summer of 2017 and the beers had improved dramatically since my last visit a year ago. I had good to great beers here and love their emphasis on sour and wild beers. I also greatly enjoyed the NE IPA they had on tap. No one will agree with me but I’d put it up there with some of the Tree House beers I’ve had. DC’s best brewery.

Great house-made craft beer, impressive menu and relaxed atmosphere.
You can't go wrong with the beer and food menu items, all of the options are delicious. Try the hush puppies and the double-cut pork chop (it's enormous).
