My friend and I stayed here for two nights when we visited Samarkand. The location, staff service, and food were all excellent. I especially appreciated the complimentary water bottles. It would have been helpful to know about them upfront, though. The room was clean, probably because the hotel is new, but the amenities weren't particularly extensive. There was only one power outlet between the beds...

I had the most economical room. Even so, it had a small window. Due to the thin walls, it wasn't perfectly quiet, but overall it was comfortable enough. Breakfast is served upstairs, and it can get crowded. There's also a terrace. The location is convenient for Registan and the Mausoleum.

At first, it could be little difficult to locate Hotel Ishonch. But they offered a decent and comfortable stay. It’s not hi-fi but has all basic amenities in the room for a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and met basic needs, while the buffet breakfast was satisfactory, exceeded our expectations. Great location and very good breakfast with good options for vegetarian food. The room was spacious, neat and clean. It’s centrally located and one can sit easily walk from the hotel to all the main attractions in Samarkand. The staff was very courteous and friendly and even offered to provide us a ride to the railway station at midnight.

A wonderful hotel located near Registan Square in the historic center of Samarkand. The service is excellent, and I'd like to single out a young man named Hasan, who helped us with our suitcases upon check-in and loaded us into a taxi upon check-out. Please remove room number 2. It's next to the reception, you can hear calls from room number 2, the guy at the reception was watching Videos without headphones and the lights were always on in the lobby. All of this you can notice in the room. It's so annoying and hard to sleep like this. Please fix this Problem

Though the spot is little quitter, and rooms are comfy, the location is little too far and service is less unfriendly.

I really liked this place. When entering you need to change your shoes which is great. They give you slippers to walk, rooms are tidy. Staff is friendly, they speak English, Russian. Breakfast is delicious 🤗 You feel like you’re at home.

It's a single room, and the beds are too close together, so I don't mind being a little uncomfortable, but the breakfast was so terrible that I gave up after two days.

The hotel is nice. But the room itself need to renovate. As the shower drainage is clogged. And the reception area cannot really speak in English. And make sure bring cash as their credit card payment is always offline. Complimentary Towels and water you need to ask. There’s a big opportunity for the hotel but it is not being maintained so far.

The hot water was not available until we asked for it and it took quite a few hours to get the hot water in the room Toilet fan upside the roof was too loud, so we could not use it during sleeping time.

We stayed in the Superior A, Superior B across the street. Very clean, reasonable breakfast,small bar (slightly high prices for beer). Close to popular restaurant Platan ( booking advised) and one or two others but not walking distance to major historical sights.

I took an instant dislike to this place which was probably rather unfair of me, but surely they could have come up with a less pretentious name. This hotel is a gem! The location is perfect for sightseeing, as most major landmarks are within an easy walking distance. The atmosphere is lovely, especially in the warmer seasons. The breakfast was satisfying, and we felt truly looked after by the attentive team. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Samarkand and suggest others do the same!

I am complaining about the registration fee, which serves no purpose whatsoever. It is absurd that it costs $200 for a mere three-day stay. When I said I would "consider it further before deciding," they resorted to threatening coercion, saying things like, "You must do it immediately," "We will lower the price by $50," and "If you do not register, you will face problems when you leave the country...

The room was nice and stuff of the hotel was good but even after i told in the reception to clean my room they didn’t do it. So not recommended for people who want neat and clean.

We extended our stay at this hotel for another night because we didn't have enough time to see all the beautiful sights. There's a great chaykhana (tea house/restaurant) right across the street, and we really enjoyed everything.

The location is excellent, and the breakfast was both diverse and delicious. Unfortunately, I fell ill during my stay, but the hotel staff were very caring – they brought me tea and sweets while I was unable to leave the hotel, which I deeply appreciated. However, the room was a bit noisy and did not have proper windows, only one facing the hotel corridor.

We loved our stay at Durdona. The location is great, the rooms have everything you need and are kept very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is really good and the whole stay was very authentic. Most of all, the family team that run the hotel are wonderfully friendly and helped us with everything we needed.

The hotel is a touch of faded glory. The rooms in the front can be a little noisy on Friday night as there is a restaurant right outside. Not horrible but something to keep in mind. Comfortable beds and lots of hot water. There is central air conditioning but the rooms are a little warm. Good location. The breakfast is small but adequate.

Luxury room is perfect — large, two bedrooms, clean and beautiful. Beds are very comfortable. Large bath, smart toilet, coffee machine, large sofa, etc. Breakfasts are good. Downside: there is restaurant just above the room. And despite good soundproofing very loud sounds can be heard to late night.

The facilities were very clean and well-maintained. I was able to use the hot shower without any problems. The breakfast buffet was very satisfying, with an abundance of fresh vegetables and fruits. The background music from the restaurant on the top floor can be a bit loud at night. Also, I think this was just my room, but I was bothered by the fact that the handle on the bathroom door was missing
