There are many hotels in Samarkand that are impossible to get to by car. The staff at this hotel really helped us out by checking us in quickly, considering that we were with a small dog. The rooms are very comfortable, everything is new, the renovation is excellent (in its own style). The breakfast was a big surprise, we have been traveling around Asia for half a year now, and this was the best breakfast...

The hotel is good, nothing wow but it gets the job done especially if you're on a budget. The rooms are large but no windows. The location is good but not within walking distance, but taxis are available and cheap. Breakfast is average, the receptionists are helpful and kind, the place is quiet and relaxing.

Small, but cozy room with a balcony. Comfortable beds and pillows, slippers, a bathrobe, and the room was very clean. The staff were very attentive, and there was good water pressure in the shower. The guest house located at old town, 20 mins to train station. The guest does not provide kettle, cup & tea in the room but they do have self service kitchen. The owner is easy to communicate. They're cutting corners on everything here. If you're not among the first for breakfast, you'll either get nothing or have to beg for everything, and there's no guarantee you'll actually get it. There's no water or kettle in the room. The toilet paper is like sandpaper, and the bed linen is awful and smells of sweat.
