Breakfast was awesome with a lot of choices, served on the 5th floor with a great view on the city. The pools were rather moderate but worth a visit

Throwback to an old world. Despite being old, the cleanliness and up keeping of everything is good The breakfast spread is very good too. And the location is definitely a plus

The Rex ist located in the heart of HCMC, right across the old Townhall. But don't expect a fully modern hotel, the Rex has kept the charm of the last century

The Rex Hotel is a traditional and old style hotel, the roof top swimming pool is quite small and isn’t much compared with more modern roof top pools in Ho Chi Minh

So ornate. Over the top. The definition of opulent. Get this, music plays under the water in the pool. Everything is just perfect.

Great and fantastic experience from arrival till departure process. Rooms are well appointed with great views over the town, we stayed in 33rd floor. Nice amenities and service provided by the staff

The interior design of the entire hotel is just amazing, spa is on another level of luxury which can’t describe in words and need to be seen✌️ great food, we had ordered “Pho” soup which was just phenomenal👍 hotel is located on the Main Street from where you have easy access to the main Saigon city mall with variety of shops

Convenient and Comfortable Stay Overall, a great experience. I didn’t get to use the pool, but I enjoyed a 40-minute gym session before breakfast. The breakfast buffet was excellent

Traveling for business to Vietnam for 22 years, staying ONLY at a luxury hotel, tried now for the first time SOFITAL and I must say this is top of the best !! Very special service, fancy upscale hotel, great lounge floor , great roof top , nice clean and just like any luxury hotel in VN !

First of all, there is no unsatisfactory about this hotel. Especially, breakfast was so good! There were so many variety of food choices and all foods were so good I have never eat such a delicious food

The hotel is a bit old but well-maintained. It can get noisy from the street as there's no double glazing (only a single pane of glass).

I used the swimming pool service, the staff was super friendly and professional although we were not stay in guest. The pool view is gorgeous. I'd come again.

The pool is absolutely gorgeous! However, the shower in the room was incredibly small – I've never seen one so tiny, it was hard to even open the door once inside. But other than that, everything else was great!

The hotel room was really good, quite spacious, and with plenty of elevators, so we never had to wait long. The best part was definitely the rooftop pool, mostly used by foreigners

Location is just behind of Nevada hotel which means u can walk to beach easily without paying double price to Front-beach hotels

The room was clean, but the wallpaper was peeling in places, no refrigerator, the pool on the top floor overlooks the sea, with a children's and adult area, but it is rarely cleaned, no filtration, the bottom is muddy

The best hotel! We booked a deluxe room with a sea view, and for Asia, it's a solid 10 out of 10

The renovation, cleanliness, and service - all perfect! The people at the reception are incredibly welcoming; they cheerfully exclaim "HOROSHO" (good) so genuinely. We definitely want to return to this hotel

I chose this hotel for my last night primarily because of its location. It's super convenient – the airport bus, shopping areas, and ATMs are all nearby. The staff were friendly, and the pool was lovely

All staff is very polite and professional, super clean beds, towels and bathrobes (I didn't want to get out of bed haha). The room service is fast and good. Breakfast is good, especially yogurts

Its very quiet in a hotel which is important for Vietnam. They have a pool with a bar on the 17th floor. The bell boy opens the front door and helps with luggage

Wonderful hotel. Check-in is strictly on time. The room was cleaned every day. It's not far from the sea and convenient. New bottles of water were added daily. There were also items available for an additional charge.

Lovely 4 star hotel very close to the beach, about 7-8 minutes slow walk. The hotel provided beach towels free of charge. There is a small swimming pool. They stored our luggage after check out time

The room was very spacious, though the bathroom was a bit small, it was still acceptable. The room came with instant coffee and green tea, which I enjoyed, along with bottled water, a safe, and a refrigerator

Watching the sunrise from the balcony was absolutely wonderful! The Vietnamese pho for breakfast was hearty and came with generous toppings. The hotel also thoughtfully arranged an airport transfer service.

We really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The hotel is very beautiful, comfortable, and has a stunning view from the window. Everything is very clean and beautiful

That said, the beach area gets quite crowded, especially in the afternoon. If you want a good spot or a sunbed, be prepared to go early or wait. It would’ve been nicer if the hotel had more seating reserved for guests

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, overlooking the ocean. The breakfast was superb, and the surrounding area is incredibly well-equipped with all the amenities you could need

There's construction nearby, but plenty of cafes and karaoke spots where you can have a great time! The pool is very cold, but you can still take a dip!

This hotel has so much untapped potential. Their 5 star rating seems to be self proclaimed. In the photos, you see several lounge chairs at the pool

The bedding was clean and spotless, and each person got two pillows, which was great! The staff quickly resolved any issues that came up (the AC wasn't working well upon check-in, then the safe batteries died), everything was fixed promptly

The breakfast on days that they have a lot of guests is very good, but when they're not full, the options felt like a homeless kitchen. I've had better wifi in hostels. Upon check-in, they want to keep your passport

Overall, the hotel left a good impression. I wasn't thrilled with the location, it's beachfront but you'll have to walk a bit to get to the center. The breakfasts were decent, we always had enough to eat

The passports and invoices are not secured. they are just behind the reception desk. Either of these issues by itself is not a problem, but combined, I felt was unacceptable for a 5 star hotel

The location is good, the noise is low. The gym equipment is old and not working. The pool is clean.

It’s a very budget friendly hotel. Across the road there is a beach but A little bit walk to the Nha Trang main beach and nice eateries. Breakfast good selection of foods mostly local. Only fruit selection was limited

The location is pretty close to the airport, and not too far from Districts 1 and 2. In December, the elevator was under maintenance, which made going up and down a bit inconvenient

we had stayed at this place before, we were impressed by the hotel's strategic location and cleanliness so we decided to stay here again

We forgot to get our deposit back, and the hotel called us on our way to the airport and had the taxi driver give us the deposit back in cash before we arrived for our flight

The only thing that could be improved is the gym, where some of the equipment wasn't working and really needs repairing or upgrading. The breakfasts were very good and catered well for Westerners

Came to this location to celebrate our 25-th anniversary. Been a biggest JW fan for many years in different parts of the world, but this hotel didn’t hold the 4 star level

I never felt like anyone was trying to quickly wrap up a conversation - they were great at humoring me and answering my questions, even if it was something as mundane as what the names of the tropical fruits were (one woman, and I’m sad I forgot her name, was so detailed in her explanation and excited to share more about the Vietnamese culture)

FOOD: I’ve observed with most Western hotels, the breakfast buffets tend to be a few Vietnamese dishes and a lot of other cuisines (Indian, American, Korean, Japanese primarily)

We arrived in the evening and were able to enjoy the happy hour while the staff prepared our key cards and brought our luggage upstairs so it didn’t feel like a wait at all

This place was seriously unbelievably cheap and good. I didn't expect much since it was only 30,000 won, but wow lol. Havana is 70,000 won, but Le More is more than twice as good

The room was very clean, and the rooftop pool was a particular highlight. The beach is right outside, about 100 meters away. It's in a bustling area, with plenty of places to eat downstairs.

The room is right across from the beach, and the sea view room is really nice. It's in a relatively quiet area, not as bustling as other beach areas, which makes it perfect for a relaxing vacation

The beach is just across the road, if you book the room with the see view the picture from your window is marvellous. I’ve spent 10 nights there and booked both see view and city view rooms

The bed turned out to be made of two separate beds, which created a noticeable gap in the middle. Overall, the bed was unnecessarily huge and took up almost the entire room

In addition, the promised welcome fruit was not provided. At breakfast, there were no available tables, so we had to wait about 5 minutes for a table to free up

If you're Vietnamese, make sure you have your room KEY with you at all times, for the security might try to harass you for possibly being a local trying to sneak in (and do what!?) 😑 I've stayed in many hotels all around Vietnam from Hoi An, Da Lat, HCM, Hanoi, Sapa, Hue and many others, and never had I once been questioned if I belong there

It was nice but not the greatest experience for the price. Mainly catered to white folks, and I can understand why$ The layout and landscape was very nice, with many exotic tropical plants, flowers and coconut trees
