Reviews
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. Despite having booked my stay well in advance and receiving confirmation, they canceled my reservation just one day before my check-in. Their response was not only unprofessional, but also incredibly rude.
They initially tried to redirect me to a different hotel, which had unacceptable conditions. When I refused, they offered an alternative, but then backtracked on their offer, leaving me with no options at all. I was left scrambling to find somewhere else to stay at the last minute.
This hotel clearly overbooked and didn't honor my reservation. To make matters worse, their handling of the situation was nothing short of disrespectful. I would strongly advise against staying here for any trip—especially if you’re counting on a confirmed booking.
Update: Sorry for hotel’s reply. Instead of trying to improve your hotel, write these lies. We didn't have any animals and we found bed bugs in the room on the first day and we showed it to the office and they quickly killed it by hand and strangely said that this usually happens.
Our family recently enjoyed a wonderful week-long stay at Marnar Hotel, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The hotel's prime location, just a 20-minute walk from the city center and a convenient 10-minute walk from the US Embassy, made it the perfect base for exploring Yerevan.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional hospitality of the staff. The entire team, especially Mrs. Hasmik, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their warm and welcoming nature made us feel right at home.
The hotel itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The pristine condition of the hotel's towels and sheets meant we didn't even touch our personal ones. We particularly enjoyed the cozy little garden, which provided a tranquil setting for relaxing evenings.
The daily breakfast was a highlight of our stay, with a delicious variety of fresh, local ingredients and foods. The breakfast staff were incredibly accommodating, and we were especially grateful for the daily special order of cold milk for our daughter.
One particularly thoughtful gesture was when we had to leave hotel early; the hotel had thoughtfully prepared a packed breakfast for us the night before. Additionally, when I realized I had forgotten my hair dryer, Mrs. Hasmik kindly lent me hers. This attention to detail truly demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction.
The hotel's central location made it easy to access everything we needed. A 24-hour supermarket, a bakery, and a bus stop were all within a short walking distance.
We highly recommend Marnar Hotel to anyone visiting Yerevan. The combination of friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, and a convenient location made our stay truly memorable."
