We are currently staying at this apartment and are very disappointed with our experience. The staff have been extremely rude and unhelpful, particularly the receptionist working on the 25th/26th named Anna, whose attitude has made our stay uncomfortable. The apartment itself is very basic and worn. The walls have patchy paintwork, doors are peeling, and overall it feels tired and poorly maintained. We were also surprised to be charged extra for basic cooking items such as pots, pans, and utensils. When we asked what was included in the paid set, staff were reluctant to explain, which is unreasonable when you are paying extra for something. It’s misleading on the booking site that these are not included. The fridge/freezer is faulty – the freezer compartment door is missing, meaning food in the fridge freezes even when set to a low temperature. The only positive aspects are the pool and surrounding area, which look nice and are clean and quiet. Unfortunately, these are the only highlights. Overall, the accommodation feels more like basic student housing and does not live up to the photos or description online. Due to the poor condition of the apartment and the lack of customer service, we would not stay here again.

This hotel is a huge disappointment! When you make the reservation, they say one thing, but when you get there, it's something else. I feel cheated. The studio doesn't meet the requirements.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at “St. George Palace”. At the reception desk there is almost never anyone available and you wait a long time for assistance. We were given a room above the kitchens and it constantly smelled of food even during the night. The toilet cistern was leaking and dripping during the entire stay which was very annoying, and the bathroom mixers are a real challenge because it is almost impossible to set the water to a comfortable temperature. The “food” is absolutely terrible – the choice is extremely limited with only 3–4 dishes for breakfast and dinner, no variety, the taste is mediocre and unpleasant, especially considering the price, and to make things worse after every meal you spend 2–3 hours in the bathroom. In the restaurant the staff is slow, lazy, it takes 20–30 minutes to get service and their attitude is arrogant and dismissive. The “SPA” area is dirty, the pool is not cleaned and has yellow stains around the edges, the steam room works only when it wants, the jacuzzi is poorly maintained, only the sauna was acceptable. The hotel has potential, but in this condition I would not recommend it to anyone and we will definitely never return.

A 3 star hotel, definitely not a 4 star. The room was not very clean, no air conditioning, no balcony and sun for three quarters of the day. The towels were of poor quality, they left lint on your body when you wiped yourself with them. There was absolutely nothing in the fridge, not even a bottle of still water or anything for welcome. The location of this hotel is quite far from the center of Bansko, in a somewhat wild area. I had the feeling that I was in a hotel from the communist era, a hotel in which almost no investment was made. The not very friendly staff and the room lacking conditions made me not have a stay as I would have liked. I will not return to this hotel in the future.
