Old hotel, but the breakfast was amazing

This is not the first time I have stated in Grami it has a perfect location, and the price is good. Also, it is close to some key points.

An average hotel. Nothing too special.

Stayed for three nights and barely got any sleep. At night the main road adjacent to the hotel becomes a race track with motorbikes roaring and screeching as they race until around 3am, dreadful.

Very friendly staff; great location and close to subway and the business park. Undortunately the restaurant in the hotel was closed without notice:- that was very disappointing. No room service either

The room was clean and spacious enough, with a stocked fridge. The view of the wide road makes the room better suited for winter trips (when you can leave the windows closed) rather than summer. You need to book in advance if you want to use the Spa. The restaurant on the top floor offers a great view and balanced Bulgarian dishes. Staffs are absolutely horrible When I arrived, I headed to the reception, where two guys were present and giving me some odd looks. I introduced myself and said I wanted to check in. We had the absolute best time here last week. We had a junior sweet with large balcony. Room equipped with toiletries, dressing gown, slippers. Mixed review. Lovely staff and breakfast great. Bedroom was supposed to be a junior suite with balcony but balcony tiny. Mattress was ancient and sagged badly. Housekeeping did get us a topper. Spa was lovely and pool.

We always enjoy the uniqueness of the place. Its location is great and the facilities are also good. We noticed an obvious uplift in food quality this year.

We had a fantastic week in Borovets staying here. Our room was big and comfortable, the hotel was quiet but we appreciated that after a day skiing and plenty of breakfast choices every morning. Lovely bar area with nice cocktails, we had dinner in the restaurant which was authentic Bulgarian food and the Spa was great.

The amenities are great with some weird kinks. For example - the light switch for the bathrooms is behind the door on the outside of the bathroom so if you open the door you can't effectively reach for the light. It's a typical, old-fashioned European hotel. It's relatively clean and tidy inside, but it can't compare to the ones in China. Otherwise, there's nothing special. This is a relatively centrally located hotel, but that's the norm in Eastern European cities.

Great experience from the moment I booked the room from the hotel's website. Staff was polite, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Avoid the breakfast! It was by far the worst we had in the entirity of Bulgaria and certainly isn't worth its money. You got bakeries all around for that. The rooms were OK, although could use some maintanence. The showerhead was broken in a way that half of the water came out its back.

The room was average cleanliness. The cleaning staff didn't check thoroughly, leaving the previous occupant's used towel hanging behind the door. The kettle wasn't emptied either. Basic facilities but ideal for a cheap ski break with family or friends. Very close to the piste (nothing is far from anything in Borovets). There were quite a few large groups staying but noise never seemed to be an issue. The rooms would need to be upgraded and they should take care of some things like changing the curtains who are dirty and the carpets in the rooms Generally the should pay attention more in the cleanliness. The location is good and the people from reception are cooperative. The hotel itself is old and although the rooms and common areas are clean, it's obvious that everything around is in need of a massive renovation. The breakfast was kind of a buffet, but at least when I was there, they filled the tables once and that was it. No own hotel parking, but they can arrange a parking place 300 meters away...
