What I loved most about this stay was Kayla, the lady in red. She proactively called me before I even arrived to ask about my needs. During my stay, she not only prepared a handwritten welcome card but also thoughtfully noticed my preferences and helped me get a quiet room on a higher floor. Whenever I had a question or an issue, she was always quick to respond and resolve it, which made me feel incredibly valued. Because of her, this experience was exceptionally warm and personal. I look forward to seeing her again!

I originally booked a 5-night stay (2+3), but ended up moving to the Marriott after only 2 nights. The Kempinski is a well-established five-star hotel in the embassy district, boasting all the old-money charm with its restaurants, lounge, bakery, gym, and shopping mall. It's also conveniently located by the Liangma River, perfect for a leisurely stroll. However, the service was a bit of a mixed bag – the executive lounge and in-room service were incredibly thoughtful and proactive, leaving a great impression. On the other hand, the professionalism of the sales and front desk teams, who are at the forefront, needs significant improvement. First, the room type we booked clearly had two bathrooms, yet Ctrip's description only listed '1 bathroom.' This watered-down, downgraded description is likely due to the sales department's lack of attention. It was precisely for this reason that we booked a combination of 2 nights in a suite + 3 nights in a family room. However, the front desk staff we encountered on the first day of check-in were stiff and cold throughout, making us feel uncomfortable. Consequently, we decisively canceled the remaining three nights and moved to the Marriott.

The heated pool on the top floor of the Kempinski Hotel, though not large, has excellent water quality and a great environment. The south-facing floor-to-ceiling windows are bright and offer expansive views of the city, making it a very relaxing experience to swim there. The Black Forest cake and strawberry cheesecake from the deli were delicious. The breakfast at the New Classic restaurant might not have a huge variety, but the quality is top-notch. The executive lounge service is also very satisfying. Every time I stay here, I have a wonderful experience.

Environment: Conveniently located near Liangma River, Solana, and Chaoyang Park.

This was my first time staying at a Kempinski, and my expectations were shattered. First off, the cleanliness was subpar. There were unidentified hairs in the bathtub, and dirty residue came out of the bathtub's knob. The box holding the toiletries in the bathroom was also visibly broken and in terrible shape. Then there was breakfast. I had specifically chosen a room with breakfast because I'd read reviews saying it was rich and varied. I can only say that the Western options were plentiful, but the hot dishes were incredibly sparse, with only three choices, and the taste was just mediocre. For someone who doesn't particularly enjoy Western food, there was almost nothing to eat. What's more, this hotel seemed to treat Chinese and foreign guests differently, being much warmer towards foreigners. It's truly disheartening to see this in a hotel in China.

Booked an executive family room for our May Day trip. The room itself wasn't anything special, but the executive perks were quite good, and the service was excellent. The breakfast on the first floor was great, and we also enjoyed complimentary executive afternoon tea and dinner buffet in the evenings.

I'm a local and I stayed here over Chinese New Year, which left a great impression, so I came back for the May Day holiday. The Executive Lounge feels like a friend's living room, and all the staff are incredibly nice. This time, I was most impressed by the sunny and handsome Clark and the sweet-smiling Sana; they added wonderful memories to our holiday. Thank you! I've set my sights on Kempinski Beijing Lufthansa Center; I'll definitely be back if I get the chance.

The view from the room was fantastic, I could see the 'CCTV Headquarters' (Big Trousers) and a peculiar black building. Guests also get a 20% discount on Black Forest cake! 😄 Miss Silvia's service was excellent! 👍

Traveling with kids, it's super convenient to get around by taxi and subway. I really love the hotel's design; the overall vibe is very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping was very diligent. I enjoyed the restaurant's ambiance, and being able to have breakfast outdoors was a really nice option. The room also offered a river view.

The room size was just right, and it was very clean. I really liked the high, transparent ceiling design in the lobby, and the color scheme was beautiful. Breakfast was also good.
