A fantastic experience at Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park in Shanghai! The park is beautifully designed with amazing marine life exhibits and exciting live shows. The dolphins and sea lions were a real highlight — very entertaining and well presented.

There’s so much to see and do, from the aquarium tunnels to themed zones and rides, making it a perfect full-day outing. Everything is well organized and enjoyable for both adults and kids.

Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Shanghai and love marine life or family-friendly attractions! 🐬🌊✨

The hotel's location is excellent, offering unlimited access to the park. Our family room was well-equipped with kid-friendly slippers, toothbrushes, and toiletries, plus a step stool. The housekeeping staff was incredibly helpful, installing a bed rail for us and even delivering yogurt and snacks in the evening. When we ran out of bottled water, a quick request to the staff had more delivered. What I'm most grateful for, however, is that I left my power bank in the room. I had searched thoroughly but couldn't find it. After I got home, the hotel called to inform me they found it and even couriered it back to me. Many thanks!

The hotel isn't right next to the main entrance of Haichang Ocean Park. If you're taking the bus, you'll have a bit of a walk. I'd recommend taking a taxi directly from the subway station. The room was spacious, and my kids absolutely loved it. We'll definitely stay here again next time.

This hotel is a bit old, and the facilities are pretty standard, but it has everything you need. They're well-equipped for kids, and all food deliveries are picked up in the lobby. Even in the off-season, there are quite a few guests.

This is a fantastic family-friendly hotel. Since it's an ancillary facility to the park, getting in and out is incredibly convenient. When the kids get tired from playing, we can just head straight back to the room to rest. The lobby also has building blocks and a soft play area for children, as well as a small kids' playground. We'll definitely choose to stay here again if we have the chance!

Traveling with kids on a weekday is truly fantastic! The hotel arranged for an early check-in. When we entered, I noticed an odd smell in the bathroom. I thought leaving the window open all afternoon might help, but the smell was still there after showers that evening. On a whim, I called the front desk, and a staff member immediately came to check. Afterwards, they arranged for us to move to the room next door. Throughout the whole process, they were incredibly friendly and kept apologizing. The hotel had a wonderful Christmas atmosphere, and all the staff would proactively smile and greet guests. You can access the aquarium directly through the hotel passage, and enjoy unlimited re-entry over two days – my child absolutely loved it! I'll definitely be recommending this place to my friends.

We stayed in the penguin-themed room, and our kids absolutely loved it. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by concierge staff. The lobby staff were very proactive in guiding us, helping with our luggage, and explaining the room's facilities and services. It was very thoughtful and we were very satisfied.

The room was very family-friendly for kids, featuring a bunk bed with stairs. The bedding was relatively soft, and the stairs were anti-slip, which the children loved climbing up and down. We chose to eat all our meals at the hotel. In the evening, we tried their hot pot buffet, which had a good variety of dishes, including many non-spicy options, perfect for preschoolers. The breakfast buffet was quite busy, with queues forming for the noodle and wonton stations. The hotel's Chinese restaurant was pretty good; I wouldn't recommend the dumplings, but the spicy pig ears were delicious.

This was our first time visiting Haichang with the kids, and we were very happy with our stay at this hotel, especially since it's so family-friendly. We stayed on the seahorse-themed floor, which happens to be the same name as my daughter's preschool class, and she was absolutely thrilled to see it. Both the room and the floor are decorated with seahorse elements, making it very playful. The room also had bunk beds for children, a kids' toilet seat, and corner protectors, ensuring maximum safety and thoughtful details.

Guests enjoy VIP fast-track entry to the park and unlimited 2-day access. It's just a 5-minute walk to the park, so you can easily return to your room to rest whenever you get tired, saving time and hassle. The staff were enthusiastic and provided excellent service. Breakfast buffet was included, and self-parking was free, making it good value for money.

My only minor regret is that the breakfast selection was a bit limited, and the dining area isn't very large. Even after following the tips to avoid peak hours, we still had to queue to get in. Overall, it's an excellent choice for visiting Haichang, especially for families with kids. If they could improve the dining and reception services, the experience would be even better.
