Overall was good. Good Location accessible to many places. hotel breakfast and lounge buffet was great. Staffs are helpful and room is very clean. Is a good place to stay at for leisure holiday.
The rooms and service are consistently good, as always. The courtyard in the patio is perfect for friends to gather and chat, offering a unique ambiance. Plus, the location is excellent; it's just a block or two from Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and Nanjing East Road Metro Station, and also very close to the Bund. Do be aware that it's an older hotel, so some of the facilities are a bit dated.
We stayed for 4 nights during the May Day holiday in Shanghai. The hotel's downtown location is excellent; it's just a block away from Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and very close to the subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient. I was especially impressed by Francis Zhang from the concierge. His service was patient and attentive throughout our stay. During our time exploring Shanghai...

Very friendly staffs, esp Concierge Hunter. He was so patience with guiding me how to use the didi for the first time and even wrote me a directions on a paper making sure I can get my way back to the hotel. Concierge team are all very friendly and responsible team. Walking distance to Nanjing pedestrian street and The bund, convenient stalls are around the hotels.

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt the night before going to Universal Studios, and checked in a bit late, which caused a slight delay. The hygiene was decent, but the makeup mirror in the bathroom was really inconvenient – it was too low and kept sliding down, clearly broken. The biggest issue, though, was that parking wasn't complimentary.
The pool is a standard 25-meter length and the water quality is clean.
Super convenient location! The hotel is right across the street from the subway station, and it's connected to Global Harbor, which makes shopping a breeze. The breakfast buffet is amazing too – lots of variety, fresh ingredients, and everything tastes great! The service is excellent, and our room was quiet and spotless. Absolutely perfect!
The room was spacious, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. We had a fantastic view of the Twin Towers, and the night view was absolutely stunning! The complimentary afternoon tea was a lovely touch. Getting to the airport and shopping malls was quick and easy thanks to the convenient transportation, and being right next to Global Harbor Mall was a huge plus! We had a great experience overall
Great location, excellent room facilities, and really good value for money!
The service was excellent, and the room was very clean and quiet. The mattress was incredibly comfortable! Plus, the view from the window was beautiful.

The accommodation was good, and the breakfast was excellent. We booked two rooms, and while the wait for the rooms to be ready for check-in was a bit long, they ended up upgrading one of them and placing both rooms on the same floor, which was a nice touch. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, though, and it's a bit of a walk from the subway station.
I booked a twin room, and it was spacious enough for two adults and one child traveling together. While some say the facilities are old, the bathroom has actually been renovated. The lighting is bright, and there's a vanity stool. The shower is a bit small but acceptable. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the food is quite good. It would be even better if they offered some local Shanghai specialties...
I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Lou, was enthusiastic and attentive, patiently assisting me with any questions I had, and was always friendly and professional. The housekeeping staff was meticulous and thorough, paying close attention to details. I'd especially like to commend Managers Li and Lucy from the floor staff for their thoughtful and heartwarming...
Everything about the room was great. As an older five-star hotel, the materials used are excellent, and I especially loved the chair – it was so comfortable. It would be even better if the carpet could be removed!
An older hotel with dated facilities, it definitely has that old-money vibe. It's now under Marriott, though I heard it's been downgraded. The location is super convenient with Century Avenue and the metro station nearby.
The hotel service was excellent. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the restaurant staff were highly professional. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which is great for families with kids. Plus, the location is really convenient.

The breakfast selection was quite generous, and the hotel environment was what you'd expect. Perhaps due to the season, there was a slight musty smell in the hallway on our floor. It's very close to both the company I was visiting for work and Disneyland. As an annual pass holder, I even managed to squeeze in a quick visit to Disneyland in the evening!
Check-in was super fast, no waiting in line. The room was spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, so I slept really well. The soundproofing was good too; I wasn't disturbed by any noise at night. Overall, the experience was better than I expected.
I chose this hotel specifically to see the Disney 10th-anniversary celebration. It's quite convenient to get to Disney, and you can even buy Disney tickets here. It's also a very international hotel; lots of foreign families with kids stay here. The xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) for breakfast are delicious, I'd even say incredibly delicious! Overall, it's a good stay.
Facilities: The decor is pretty good, as expected from a star-rated hotel. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: The room I booked wasn't facing the street, so it was very quiet. Service: The check-in staff and concierge were all very friendly and polite, definitely a thumbs up! 👍 Disney Resort Shuttle Service: Many shuttles available, super convenient. Free parking in the hotel's underground garage for...
I recently stayed at the Marriott Hotel Kangqiao, near the Disneyland Resort. The location is absolutely perfect, especially with the free Disney shuttle – it made getting to and from the park incredibly easy and stress-free. The breakfast was another highlight. Back to Radisson Collection Hyland Shanghai with the family (2 adults + a teen) – and it's STILL amazing! ❤️ We booked a higher-category family room. Super spacious: separate bedroom with a huge bed + another room with a sofa for our son. But the BEST part? Access to the 30th-floor lounge! 🥂 Drinks and city views = total win. Dinner at the 3rd-floor restaurant was delicious, and the foot massage on...
An older, established hotel, showing its age a bit, but well-maintained and quite clean. The location is excellent, right on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Service is decent, and the breakfast spread is quite good.
Overall, my experience was super satisfying! The environment was quiet and not noisy, and the facilities were complete and brand new. The toiletries were of very good quality. The staff were incredibly friendly, and check-in and check-out were very fast. It was a comfortable and reassuring stay, highly recommended~
This hotel is like a time capsule from the 90s. The carpets, decor, colours, everything has been meticulously maintained over the years. It feels like a nostalgic trip back to a bygone era in Shanghai's biggest boom period. Hotel staff are efficient and friendly. The beds/sheets were nice and the rooms very extremely clean. Within 2 minutes of walking you can step into the "old" Shanghai.
Great location , great service and good value for money, we are appreciated the little surprise the hotel provided including Bear toy, Wine. We will definitely come back again. Only 10 mins to the bun.
Stayed here for 6 nights. Basically, it was like being right in the middle of a happening town! Love that there's delicious halal food nearby, beside Apple store (Pinhuiwei Muslim Northwestern Chinese)! The Bund is nearby, Adidas flagstore is there, Starbucks everywhere. Love the vibe here! Will I stay here again? Yes I will but Shanghai has to be the 1st stop in China because there's no self service...

This was my second time staying at this hotel for a trip to Disneyland. The lovely front desk staff upgraded our room, but there was a minor issue with the first one. They quickly helped us switch to another room and even gave a small gift to my child.
Cleanliness: A bit disappointing. When I came back on the second day, I noticed the crumbs from the fried skewers I ate the night before were still on the table. Service: The service was very good. Environment: I wouldn't recommend staying on the fifth floor; there's a swimming pool there.
The hotel has a lovely ambiance, friendly service, and a great breakfast spread. There are multiple shuttle buses to Disney every day, and it's also very close to the subway. It's our go-to hotel whenever we take the kids to Disney.
Located right next to Disneyland, the complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, train station, Disneyland, and the Bund is incredibly convenient. The hygiene and service were excellent! They even gave my child two free breakfasts, which was a very kind gesture. The breakfast was plentiful and the view from the window was unique. Plus, it's really close to all the attractions.
First off, the service was excellent! The front desk lady (I think her name was Ashin) was really enthusiastic and professional. I highly recommend the Bund River View room! The view is absolutely stunning!! Although it's a bit older, it's very clean. And the fried dumplings at breakfast were delicious!!! The breakfast overall had a Western focus.
The room was a bit small, and changing elevators was a bit inconvenient. However, the afternoon tea was exquisite, and the view was absolutely stunning. It was quite crowded during the Spring Festival, and the check-in process could definitely be faster.
The facilities are really well-maintained. If you're looking to avoid the crowded Bund, this place is an excellent choice. The views are superb, and getting around is very convenient. The service is top-notch; they're attentive to guest needs but also maintain a respectful distance, without being intrusive. I'm very satisfied.
Stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Pudong for a night during the Chinese New Year. Even though I usually prefer newer hotels, the Ritz's unique charm convinced me. This was an incredibly satisfying stay, and I rarely write reviews. But this time, I couldn't wait to share my experience. The hotel's location is great, right on Nanjing Road, which was perfect for taking the kids out to play. I won't even mention the 60 yuan parking fee we had to pay ourselves, but the cleanliness truly doesn't meet the standards of a state-owned four-star hotel. There were urine stains on the toilet that weren't even wiped clean – please see the pictures. The second one is after I tried to clean it...
The room was decent, and having a desk was very convenient for my business trip. Its central location made it easy to get around, and the area was bustling at night. The room amenities were complete, and the service was friendly. Everything was just fine.
The hotel is located at a superb spot whereby it’s just minutes walk away from the famous Nanjing Road and if you are adventurous enough walkable all the way to The Bund! There’s also lots of eateries around and you can never go hungry here. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful especially towards non-chinese speaking tourists like me 😂. The interior though a little dated, but not a deal breaker...
The bathroom amenities were quite stingy. The 27ml shower gel was just enough for one person, let alone a couple or someone with a child. And 27ml of shampoo isn't even enough for long hair, though it might be okay for short hair. It really doesn't match the price of the room. The staff in the lobby were always rushing around and almost bumped into people; generally, they didn't even greet guests....
Nice and good service. Room is quite tidy and clean.
The room was pretty quiet and very close to the pedestrian street, with lots of unique restaurants just behind it.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming! They even gave us a free upgrade to a suite. The room was spacious, clean, and had a really cozy atmosphere – it definitely exceeded my expectations! For breakfast, there was a wide variety of options including Western, Chinese, local specialties, and vegetarian dishes. Everything tasted great too! Overall, it was a very comfortable stay!!
I've stayed in many five-star hotels, and this one is generally very good. There's a huge ship right at the hotel entrance, and the lobby looks very grand. The front desk staff were also very friendly. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. I booked this hotel through a group deal I saw online, and it definitely didn't disappoint – I just went for it without hesitation and it was a great choice
I was very satisfied with my last stay, so I chose this place again. Haha, is it my good luck that they upgraded me to a suite? The room is amazing! This time I also booked the executive lounge access. The food isn't great, but the drinks definitely live up to the name 'lounge,' especially finding Baileys Irish Cream. Thumbs up! 👍🏻
The self-service breakfast was good. I stayed for two nights, and the young man at the front desk, employee number 8, was very polite. Over the past few days, whether it was the cleaning staff or the check-in personnel, the overall experience has been excellent.
The front desk service was excellent during check-in, and the room was quite good too. The hotel definitely still maintains its old five-star standards. However, I woke up at 1 AM and found that the spotlight in the bathroom was leaking water, forming a puddle on the floor. That was a pretty frightening experience.

They helped us book our Fudan University visit. Overall, the place was clean and tidy, but half the windows couldn't be opened, and the air conditioning was quite loud!
Perfect family stay with kids! The hotel is right next to Fudan University, offering green campus views from the window. Let me point out a few issues. Firstly, the carpet wasn't clean. Secondly, the faucet at the sink was problematic; water splashed everywhere. Thirdly, it's the modern age, why are they still using bathtubs? They're inconvenient, impractical, and unsafe. Fourthly, the charged services are completely out of line with the hotel's brand. This is by far the worst Sheraton I've ever stayed at. The most frustrating...
Very good hotel , great breakfast.. near to metro line . Have big range of breakfast options … It is connected with super market, a coffee shop , a bakery ..

I brought a friend here for a medical check-up, and it's right next to the 10th Hospital, so you can just walk there. The location is excellent.
My three days at the Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai Daning were the most memorable part of my trip. The room was generally clean and spacious, and the bathroom facilities were also good. The staff's service attitude was particularly excellent. We arrived early and had other matters to attend to, so the attendant Lily thoughtfully arranged an early check-in for us.
The hotel service was excellent, and our room attendant Sarah was very responsive. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. I had a great rest during my business trip. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip.

This hotel is indeed a gem tucked amidst the skyscrapers in Shanghai. It is a State Guesthouse that is open to the public for booking only when there are no visiting dignitaries. The experience is indeed a privilege. They service staff there are a whole new level; they are definitely part of the Foreign Service not just the usual hotel staff.
Garden Hotel, comfortable and pleasant. It was quiet both day and night, so I had a great rest. Parking was convenient, and breakfast was abundant. The decor was unique, with copper strips embedded in the doors and windows of the rooms, lobby, and other areas, giving it an elegant and luxurious feel. Staying at Xijiao Hotel in Shanghai left a wonderful impression.
We had a wonderful three-night stay. The hotel is incredibly well-maintained, and you can tell a lot of care goes into running it. Excellent location, right by the Bund. It was Mother's Day, and I wanted to make it special for my mom. The service was fantastic! A big thank you to the lovely front desk lady who upgraded our room.
Came to Shanghai with my family specifically to experience the renowned Peace Hotel. The front desk kindly upgraded us to a connecting city-view family room. The breakfast was definitely good and we enjoyed it a lot. All the hotel services were excellent.

Whenever I return to China, I always stay at the Hengshan Garden Hotel (Executive Building) for a few days. This year, I stayed for nearly ten days around the May Day holiday, and I was absolutely delighted with the room cleaning service – a perfect score! The front desk staff were professional and dedicated – another perfect score! The welcoming service was warm and polite, making me feel right at...
I returned to this hidden gem on Hengshan Road after a two-year absence, and overall, it's still fantastic. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location is incredibly convenient; there are numerous bus routes right across the street, taking you directly to places like Jing'an Temple and Huaihai Road. When you have some free time, you can explore the park opposite the hotel, and Xujiahui...
Facilities: It has everything one would expect, though there was a broken lamp that probably wasn't reported for repair in time. Hygiene: It was fairly clean, but since there's carpeting, dust tends to accumulate and is hard to clean, leading to a stale odor in the air. Even with the windows open and the AC on, it didn't help. Ambiance: Easy to access, with an elegant environment. The hotel's lobby...
During this May Day holiday, I stayed at five different hotels, and this one offered the best value for money! It was the most comfortable stay. Service: Excellent service, staff members always greeted us. Environment: A large hotel surrounded by梧桐 trees, making for a quiet and peaceful stay. Facilities: Well-equipped facilities, and the breakfast was fantastic!

The hotel is beautiful and the service is good. The price was higher than expected, but overall it was a decent stay. The only drawback is that the surrounding amenities are incomplete; you have to walk quite a distance to find dining options beyond high-end clubs.
We chose this castle-style hotel for our anniversary. It looked grand and comfortable even on the platform. After booking, I specifically asked the hotel to help decorate the room. Although it was simple and rustic, it still created a lovely ambiance. The complimentary tiramisu cake was especially delicious, and we also received fruit. The breakfast restaurant was also very impressive, and the cheese...
Attended an exhibition, and it was quite good. The room was large and comfortable, and the location was convenient for taxis. The staff were enthusiastic, and the hotel facilities were relatively comprehensive.
The breakfast was plentiful and the room was comfortable. Even though the hotel is a bit old, it's very well maintained. A special shout-out to the housekeeping staff on the 12th floor for their warm and patient service! I'll definitely be back next month.
I brought my parents here for a change of scenery during the May Day holiday. The hotel is right next to a residential area, and I really liked that the room was quite spacious and even had a balcony! You need to confirm with the staff if you want to open the balcony door. The decor features a lot of marble, which must have been quite luxurious back in the day, but it definitely shows its age now....
The hotel is impressive, and the front desk staff, Xiao Qi, provided excellent service. She was very welcoming and helped me with a late check-out. I'll definitely choose InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland again if I come back to Shanghai!

This is my second stay at this hotel. The environment is beautiful and the service is excellent. The seafood buffet on Friday night had fresh and abundant ingredients, and breakfast was also delicious. We even saw a beautiful fireworks display on Saturday night.
What stood out most was the hotel's service; from the cleanliness to the staff, everything felt very thoughtful. A special thank you to the front desk gentleman who kindly upgraded us to a balcony room with an expansive lake view. The room amenities were all new, and the hygiene was excellent. We also appreciated the six complimentary bottles of mineral water. The beds were larger than those typically...
I'd known about this place for a while but never got around to visiting. Yesterday, I happened to be at Shanghai Fish, so I decided to book a stay here. The environment is quite nice, and the buffet was decent – not a huge selection, but everything was well-presented. The hotel room was very clean and quiet, and every staff member was fantastic.
JW Marriott Hotel Oriental Beauty Valley in Fengxian is truly a masterpiece, and I've been coming back for two years in a row. I feel like there's been an improvement this year compared to last year. The breakfast selection has increased, and their service philosophy seems to be evolving. It's incredibly pleasant to walk around the hotel grounds this time of year, with beautiful spring scenery both...
Had a staycation with my son. The hotel environment is quite good, and we got an upgraded lake view room, which was very comfortable. The only thing is that the room isn't very spacious. We booked a package that included a buffet dinner, and the food was decent. Next time, I'll try another Marriott.
My family really likes the Marriott brand. The hotel's style, overall layout, and the aroma in the public areas are indeed to our liking. The front desk staff demonstrated professionalism and excellent service awareness; they even upgraded us to a lake-view room on our check-in day, which was a nice touch. All the staff were very polite, and the room service was also professional. My only slight disappointment...

Whenever I'm in Shanghai for business near Shanghai Railway Station, the Pullman Shanghai Jing An is always my top choice. It's just a 5-minute walk from the high-speed rail station, which saves a lot of time and hassle from waiting for taxis – the location is a huge advantage. Plus, it's a five-star hotel with great ambiance and facilities, and the service is very attentive. Any request is just a...
