Title: Unacceptable Privacy Violation — Traumatic Experience

My wife and I were in our room, showering and completely unclothed. The housekeeper knocked once, but we could not hear it at all because of the loud hairdryer.

Without any response from us, the staff opened the door and entered the room anyway. My wife was fully naked, and this sudden intrusion was absolutely humiliating, terrifying, and deeply traumatic for both of us.

This is not a small mistake. It is a complete breakdown of basic hotel safety and privacy rules. No warning, no respect, no care for guests’ dignity. We felt violated, vulnerable, and unsafe in a place that is supposed to be private and secure.

This hotel has zero regard for guest safety and privacy. We will never come back, and we strongly warn everyone not to stay here.

The hotel was quiet with few guests, and the scenery was beautiful, though it was very windy in winter. The service was excellent. For breakfast, there was a good variety of hot and cold options. Lunch was casual fare by the pool, and dinner offered a rich selection of both international and local dishes.

This was the most satisfying hotel of my trip to Egypt so far! Both the facilities and the service met and exceeded my expectations. Since it was just after the holiday, there weren't many guests, so I could relax on the beach chairs as much as I wanted! The check-in staff were professional and enthusiastic, giving me a detailed introduction to the various areas and facilities of the hotel. One of the staff members even spoke quite a bit of Chinese with very standard pronunciation. They even brought out chopsticks for breakfast, haha! Breakfast was a semi-buffet style, and the quality was very high. Dinner wasn't quite to my liking, but it was still far better than other options. The welcome drink was also delicious. The only downside was that the beach staff treated us differently, only giving free drinks to white people and ignoring us. I boldly asked for some! Overall, it's definitely worth staying at!

The front desk service was excellent! The young staff were friendly and welcoming!
The pool and beach service was average. I wrote a complaint about the poor service of the restaurant manager. ❌ The restaurant waitresses were also very nice. 👍🏻
The hotel's beach and coastline were not good. They were so green, like mudflats, that it was difficult to swim. The only area you could go was the snorkeling spot.

First of all, my experience with this hotel was disappointing, perhaps due to my high expectations. This hotel is also located about a 30-minute drive from downtown Hurghada. The check-in experience was excellent; the front desk was very polite and patient, and they provided a brief overview of the hotel's facilities. Each room is a separate building, similar to a townhouse in China. I booked a basic room, which was perfectly adequate and even had a backyard. However, the backyard was quite unused, surrounded by a high wall, with nothing visible. The room was also very poorly maintained. The buttons and microphone on the phone were filthy, and the TV was crooked on the wall; I was afraid it would fall! Furthermore, the room had several large glass windows, and all the blackout curtains had to be raised and lowered manually. Raising them meant people outside could clearly see into the room, but lowering them made the room incredibly dark, and the constant raising and lowering was exhausting. The bathroom had a small soaking tub that backed up, meaning that when you showered, water would flow directly into the tub, which was quite disgusting. My room included breakfast and dinner, but the restaurant staff seemed exhausted, their actions and words acting as if they were eager to leave work. This was the same feeling for both breakfast and dinner. Furthermore, the pool near the ocean was extremely dirty, with everything underwater, making it nauseating. Finally, the sunsets and sunrises at the hotel are beautiful, but don't expect too much when booking this hotel. One more thing to say: the hotel is huge. There's a shuttle bus from the room to the lobby or restaurant, but I had to wait 10 minutes several times. I could walk there, but the heat and the sun were intense with no shade, and it was difficult to get used to. That's all.

This was the most comfortable part of the entire trip, but it was also the worst part. I had left my important passport and cash in the hotel safe when I checked in. Since I hadn't accessed them during the cruise, when I checked out, I discovered several hundred dollars were missing! I contacted the front desk several times to let them know, but to no avail.

Because I stayed one more night and booked two more times, I'll say a few more words. The weather was cold when I went there, so I didn't go to the sea. The hotel's beach is average, but the sea view is beautiful from a high place. This hotel and the castle hotel are both in a relatively far area. If you sign up for a sea trip, you usually have to pay an additional $5 per person for pick-up and drop-off. If you don't want to pay this money, you can consider taking a taxi to the city pier by yourself.
