Hotels with pool in Aquitaine

I would maybe just suggest putting some mosquito dunks or other pest control in the nearby fountain, clean out the bathroom drains, and provide better towels… Not a four star hotel experience otherwise and left me disappointed with the lack of care

stay 4 nights, Room was way bigger than the average European hotel, cleanness was as expected and the staff was very helpful with all my requests, location is great with the tram right in front of the hotel, i would prefer to stay closer to the city centre, but i even walk from the city friday and saturday night and it takes like 25 mins, lot of bars and restaurants open late felt very secure walking...

The breakfast was well attended with great varieties of tea and coffee. The location was great as well as we were headed out on a river cruise and walked to our ship. Highly recommend staying here

From start to finish the stay was great. We arrived early on our bikes and they allowed us early access, and we could store the bikes safely. The room was spotlessly clean, super comfy, and whisper quiet

We were lucky enough to have the best room in the hotel room 306 the view over Biarritz beach were worth every penny.. Yes you pay for the view, but it’s probably the only time you’re going to be there…Just do it..

One of our rooms was upgraded to a sea view superior room - the room featured in the pictures attached. The bathroom was well appointed and extremely clean - I really liked the decoration also

Economic, Economy stay with zero frills. Premium room was spacious but property is aged and in a bit of disrepair. Shower leaked onto bathroom floor creating a large river and pools of water on an already spongy floor

Le Roncevaux - charming hotel in Pau. Lovely positioned hotel in centre. Rooms clean with good shower and towels. Staff lovely.

We spent two lovely days in Pau and were delighted to be guests in the Hotel Le Roncevaux for that time. It is an older hotel but is nicely upgraded with all modern conveniences

Super affordable, clean room, A/C, helpful staff, and they didn’t mind that I had a bicycle with me. Cool historical racing artwork displayed in the hallways. Excellent value for the money.

And the location in Pau is perfect for the visitor. The staff was friendly, courteous and made the extra effort to ensure our satisfaction. I recommend the hotel without any hesitation!

There is no laundry facility in this room, though ******* lists it as one of the amenities. There is a laundromat in the shopping mall close by. Overall, La Provencale is great value for the money

The area is not picturesque by any means. Having said that - if you want to be in this area, this is a good little hotel. Not luxurious but the rooms are comfortable

The bathroom toilet has a ugly stain and the shower hose doesn't have a holder so your hands cannot be free when you shower ...other than that everything was fine.

Easy to get to lots off parking , staff very helpful , room was good size clean and presentable Breakfast was excellent, 2min walk to tram line for easy way into centre , wouldn't have a problem staying again, good value for money

Good place to stay near the convention centre The area is really only good if you want to be near the convention centre. There's a bunch of hotels out this way that presumably exist solely for the convention centre

Great location. Quiet area but a block from the tram pickup. Room waa clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. And, staff was exceptional!

The manager/owner of this hotel is a charming lady who could have done no more to ensure our stay was comfortable, her attention was above and beyond expectations (we were using the hotel as a start and end of our 5 day cycle from Royan to Biarritz so timings were crucial in respect of ferry timings)

The hotel is right on the sea front with super views south. We found it to be in very good decorative order and very clean and were able to store our bikes in a locked garage and leave our car on the street all week

The hotel is incredibly clean from the terrace to our room even to the balcony it was spotless. All the staff spoke English but were happy to speak to me in my pidgin French without appearing frustrated

The highlight was the excellent breakfast which our host was happy to lay on for 6. 45am! And what a breakfast it was, just what we needed to start our 55 mile first day on the ‘Velodyssee’

You can open the window to enjoy the breeze and the concerts- you can close to have total darkness and silence. The entire hotel is spotless. The breakfast is so good, the pizzas delicious

Since I was traveling alone, I booked a single room. The room didn’t have a terrace, but there is a sea view from the window. It wasn’t very big, but it was very clean

Amazing, absolutely love it, gorgeous and breathtaking area, so traditional and lovely, the sauna is pure and the experience on me felt like God was trying to reach to my soul, it's very sunny and the kids were playing so nicely and innocently

Good clean very easy has a pool able to do very late night checkins perfect if you are doing the long trek home and doing a stop off on the way

The gym area is very nice there which is good and honestly there is everything you need and every equipment for every muscle so that is great

The fridge however was a welcome bonus, as was the onsite parking. The automatic heating was frustrating and the air conditioning very noisy; but still a plus in the warmer weather

Great location and balcony views of the seaside. Rooms are clean and functional for a short stay. Rather expensive for the facilities. Sadly no coffee making or safe facilities

The views from the balcony are fab and the room was spacious cool and quiet. As the hotel is away from town there was a bit of a walk to harbour etc but well worth it

The outdoors is brought inside without the weather, and again, it is very relaxing. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The breakfast was complete and tasty. Scrambled eggs with bacon done to perfection and beans

2 nights in La Rochelle after a break of many year 2 nights in La Rochelle after a long gap. So glad we came back and so so glad we decided to stay here. What a fabulous sudden gem in La Rochelle

Key to our stay was the provision of secure parking. The hotel was exceptionally clean and staff were particularly helpful. Albeit the rooms were well kitted out, we did find the toilet quite cramped

We chose the cosy rooms which are small but so very comfortable, the best bed in France yet! All the team were excellent, all spoke either English or Spanish and could not have been more helpful

Biarritz is beautiful but also don’t miss St Jean de Luz and San Sebastián across the border into Spain

Fabulous heated swimming pool. Best of all were the owners of the hotel who were extremely welcoming and were happy to talk to us in English which was so helpful as our French is rubbish! The area is fantastic

Wonderful peaceful little boutiq hotel with friendly knowledgable owners taking care or guests needs only 9-10 minutes drive to historic town. We even had extended out stay because we really enjoyed it.

This is a motel style hotel on the outskirts of Sarlat. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with a nice outside terrace. The pool area is very clean with sunbeds. Breakfast was excellent and the owners very helpful

They went out of their way to accommodate us, to the point of setting up a candlelight dinner for us in the breakfast room so that we could finish our picnic leftovers! Free parking is a nice perk, and although the weather didn't cooperate, the outdoor pool looked lovely

The host was very friendly and nothing was a problem. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment about dining. The swimming pool was lovely and easily accessible

Hotel is situated in a great spot if visiting Pau for a rugby match at Pau, hotel clean beds comfortable towels a bit thin could do with a bath mat for getting out of the shower, breakfast a basic continental but was adequate not overly priced neither

Nice rooms, the shower room isn't bad (a real shower not a plastic cubical). The rooms are spacious enough, free wifi and french tv. Breakfast is fine, not much selection but everything you need.

There is ample parking available, and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. An excellent choice if you’re looking for a clean, quiet stay without overspending

5km from city center - a little bit far, daily cleaning- very good, receptionis very nice and helpful. I missed kettle in the room, and a hairdryer

Close to a number of restaurants and convent for leaving Pau during the morning rush hour. Room a little worn and basic, and I would find it not ideal for longer stays but great as a stopover

It was wet while I was there but still ventured into the very nice pool a few times - its heated. Room was well appointed and comfortable. The giveaway is that nearly all the other guests were French

Its in a beautiful quiet setting but a long walk down (and back up !) a steep hill into town for restaurants and general sightseeing but where there is very limited parking. The Hotel itself is outstanding

Wonderful location and perfect warm welcome throughout. All the team were amazing and very professional. Room 19 was magical being in the tower. The menu offered was super and of fabulous quality.

The only downside was no air con, but we were able to leave the window open and the fan on. The bed was comfortable with plugs on the bed side tables. We met friends for lunch on the Saturday and ate outside

Breakfast was buffet style and, perhaps a bit unusually, included a hot selection as well as continental. Our party took evening meals together in the hotel which was nicely served and to most people’s taste

Yes, it has just been renovated but they’ve installed one of those small complete shower cubicles with the rounded doors – and the doors were falling off! I’ve seen that in other hotels on these kinds of shower cubicles too, so I’m guessing it’s a design fault

Was loaned towels for the beach which was only a minutes walk away. My daughter had a big sofa bed to herself. We borrowed an ironing board too. They couldn’t have been more helpful

The common areas of the old stone farmhouse are beautiful. The rooms are adequate. The property is tranquil, and walkable to the Old Town, although down a bit of a hill.

It's uphill to return to the hotel, but we did without issue. (70 year olds!) The couple that owns/runs it were very friendly and helpful. The rooms fit the property which is quite a farmhouse

It is a ten minute picturesque walk into Sarlat which means you can walk off your supper as you return. Monsieur and Madame are wonderfully attentive and personable hosts. We had a great time! Thank you
