Hotels with pool in Aquitaine

Location very central and the room was a good size, however when we went up to the room, couldn’t get into the wardrobe (which had the spare towels) because the door was broken

It's a fancy hotel masquerading as a cheap one. The rooms are all different, so I can only tell you about the one I stayed in which was "un refurbished. " It had a massive early 20th century armoire

We were upgraded to a huge round room on the top floor with a good view of the balcony outside the window. The bedroom is full of quaint old furniture

The hotel is located at the entrance of the pedestrian street in Pau. It is a very old hotel with warm service and free underground parking

The only thing that needs improvement is that the carpet is a bit old. For visiting Pau, this is a great hotel

We booked two rooms, and both were absolutely gorgeous: spacious, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable, with every detail carefully thought out. The beds were excellent, and we slept incredibly well

The Château is set in beautiful grounds, the swimming pool has a view over the Pyrenees. It is very peaceful yet within a 10 minute drive of the bustling Biarritz sea front

This place feels more like a refined countryside retreat than a typical hotel, and it was the perfect setting to relax and recharge. We left with only positive impressions and would love to return again!

The staff deserve special mention — everyone we met was warm, polite, and genuinely attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality added so much to our experience

Fabulous hotel, very friendly staff and they speak excellent English. We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights as it was the venue for our son's wedding

The gen Z scolding at check-in could not distract from the quality of the hotel and location.

Pretty room overlooking the harbour . Staff v helpful. Not ideal if you can’t carry luggage upstairs although reception helped with that too

We had a family room (a queen/king sized bed and two singles) and although it was a little bit cozy it was fine for one night - it was clean and we all slept well

We were right on the old port with many dining options. A fun area! The staff was excellent - professional and friendly. We had breakfast delivered to our room. It was excellent.

The rooms are on the smaller side, but always spotlessly clean, with hot showers and thoughtful details that make the stay comfortable

7 and 11, 11 was very small, lack of sockets to plug equipment into (only 2 in the room, by the headboard) bathroom very small, unable to sit on loo and close door! Apart from this the kingsize bed was very comfy, and we had a great nights sleep

Plenty of hot water for shower in the morning, although shower would not stay in position on the wall, as bracket loose, yes it overlooks the station, but it did not disturb us

Pau is worth visiting for its castle, which was one of the highlights of our tour of southwest France. The scenery in the nearby Pyrenees is magnificent and should not be missed if you have a car

Very poor quality hotel especially e105 per double room per night. No visible fire escape routes on the 3rd. Had to ask for coffee and sugar sachets every nights and begs a kettle and cups for the room

This was a very pleasant surprise. The double room I booked with a special weekend rate of 45 euros per night was a real bargain. Even at the regular rate of 58 it would be well worth it

The decor is a bit odd, but the room was thoroughly modern, very small but well-equipped and the bathroom, though small also, included a bathtub with shower

The individually-controlled air conditioning was very powerful and very welcome as it was quite warm for late September

The location right off the Place Clemenceau, with undergorund parking a block away was very convenient and quiet

Outdoor pool is stunning and very peaceful. We checked out and asked if we could sit at the pool and enjoy the glorious weather as we checked in after 5pm. This was no trouble and they gave us towels

a wonderful hotel with great breakfast. The first night I had a room near the road and I had much noise from the trafic. The second day I changed to a wonderful quite room in the main building and it was really ,great

The hotel is near the center and the people there (the frienly man that I don't remember his name and two wemen) were very helpful friendly and nice they helped me with everything I needed

But of course it wasn't open at that time of the year

Excellent location in the middle of the town. The house has three floors and beautiful wooden staircase irradiates an atmosphere of tranquility. Our room had a nice size, comfortable bed and window in the bathroom

Had breakfast one morning but opted for the market other days. Only negative I felt were the pillows and duvet. Felt very synthetic and pillows a bit lumpy. Other than that it was fabulous!

Booked this hotel because it was a 10 minute walk from old town and had a swimming pool and airco. We had a 2 bedroom chalet in the garden next to the swimming pool

Located very close to the centre of Sarlat (10 mins walk) The rooms are a bit outdated however the service, breakfast, garden and pool very good.

We absolutely loved our time here. The breakfast each morning was so pretty looking out onto the garden, dinner each night was delicious. The pool was a welcome reprieve from the sun on a hot afternoon.

The setting is excellent with a beautiful bedroom and a beautiful exterior (very pleasant swimming pool), city center within walking distance. Lack of friendliness on the part of the staff.

Pleasant and Comfortable Stay in Royan I had a lovely stay at Seakub hotel. The owners were both accommodating and friendly during my stay. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable

The team are so attentive from looking after us to watering the garden to picking fresh flowers from the grounds for the dining room. There’s a lovely swimming pool and it’s a great location for exploring the area

Great breakfast too! If satnav takes you to narrow white gate, it’s difficult entry angle. Keep going round the hotel to wider gate and easier access round other side! Reception is at the back of hotel

Sarlat stay Lovely situation and ideal for visiting Sarlat .Relaxing garden area and pool an lovely restaurant

There was a communal kitchenette with fridges for clients, microwave, cutlery and crockery. The pool was clean and a lovely area to settle in. The house is situated a 10 minute easy walk from the beach

Stayed in early June, the weather was glorious. The room was perfect and 5 minutes walk to the promenade and beach. Annie and Mark are perfect hosts. It's a late review as we were moving house (sorry)

Breakfast was made to feel it was individually made especially for you, including wonderful home baking. You also felt you had total privacy. We would definitely go back and recommend

A lovely couple, beautifully appointed room, excellent breakfast, and just short walk from the beach; we were so pleased that we booked to say here

I absolutely loved the interior and the theme of hats which were dotted around the hotel. The lady at reception was extremely friendly, smiley and chatty and made an effort to show us particular attractions on the map

We enjoyed a very leisurely, relaxing afternoon away from the hustle and bustle of Bordeaux city centre. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Maison du Lierre and I would highly recommend it

This was immediately brought to us by the same lady who welcomed us at reception. Along with the bottle she brought us a small place of salami which I thought was a lovely touch

She then showed us to our Terrace room which I was very impressed with. It was clean, modern and very well decorated. I thought the size of the room was perfect

We then decided to sit on our Terrace to enjoy the sunshine with a bottle of 'Crémant' which I ordered from the quaint amenities booklet found in the room

I had a lovely room with balcony. Everything is very tastefull styled and of high quality. In the morning a fresh breakfast in the garden; what could you wish more for?

Nice clean rooms, perfect location in the centre of Bordeaux, friendly English speaking owners, even a hairdryer was in the bathroom, which is unusual for a 2 star hotel. Prefer to have breakfast outside.

In a side street Close to good shopping and restaurants, theatre and not too far to walk to place de la bourse and the water mirror. The rooms are small and bathroom tiny but clean

I have been using this hotel for years as it is in the Centre of Pau with free on-street parking and a selection of nearby restaurants that serve food until 9pm making it an ideal place to stop for the night if crossing into or out of Spain

The beds are comfortable and there is central heating; the bathrooms are spotless, though the shower in my room was a little loose. Breakfast is generous and there is a reasonable wifi signal in most rooms

The charming married couple who run the hotel speak some English and lots of Spanish as well as French. Highly recommended for one or two nights

The rooms vary in size quite a lot and the small ones are pretty small, though on my recent visit, I was given quite a large one

The restaurant Bad Luck Saloon certainly lives up to the hype. Would 100% recommend to others and will definitely be returning!

I called to make sure that my room wasn't given away and the people I talked with both on the phone and in person were so nice. The hotel is in a great location, cute and clean

The room was quiet as it was not facing the street but the location of the hotel was perfect since it was on the street with all restaurants and cafés, and just across the streets there are the ferries to the Île de Ré

You walk through the hotel door and it's stairs from then on! The town is positively gorgeous with castle styled harbour reinforcements and as you walk away from the front into the town proper you will find shops to placate all you holiday needs

The staff was superfriendly and helpful and gave me some local tourist information as well. I spent one night only, but can't be happier with the choice of this hotel

Really nice hotel, close to the city center. Where the staff are welcome and welcoming. The rooms are clean and tidy but need a little updating. The hotel has its own car park

It is a nice hotel with a own parking space. The room has everything you need and the personnel is nice and polite.

Prices for overnight and for the food are fine. And we will definitely come again

The location is great, very close to the old port and many tourist spots, with many bars and restaurants within a very short walk. I hope to go back to La Rochelle and if I do I will return to Un Hotel En Ville

We had great sleep thanks to a really comfortable bed with good quality linen as well as shutters which kept the room dark. There are a small number of rooms here which meant that there was no noise at night

We stayed here for one night only. Very nice place and brilliant location for the old town. So much to see around this place that we wish we had stayed longer. The rooms were very clean and tidy

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. Cécile is a wonderful host, answering questions before and during our stay, and messaging to ensure we arrived safely

The hotel and room had all that I needed, not to mention the roof deck. What made my short stay memorable was the wonderful welcome from Vanessa and the easy access to the centre and the harbour area

Two minutes to anything, without the noise of being on the front. You can pop (2 minutes away) to a 'cave', wine seller, buy a bottle of wine and sit up on the terrace wiling away the evening

This hotel is really great! The room is clean and comfortable, the facilities are complete, and the service staff is warm and thoughtful. The location is excellent and there are many attractions around

But watch out for the stairs because the hotel doesn’t have a lift and the stairs are not really standard. (Typical old wooden stairs, aesthetically beautiful but uncomfortable to climb)

I stayed for 1 night in August. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and a reasonable price. I didn't have air con but it did have a large fan

And it's a 24 hour reception and they look after your keys so you don't need to bring them out with you

On another note, we were in room “Odilon Redon 5”, the room was comfortable and the bed was superb, but the bathroom shower had low pressure and it was more on the cold side, should be fixed ASAP… can’t imagine dealing with that in winter weather

It was an incredible stay—it’s like sleeping in a museum. The owners took care of every single detail to make you feel this amazing atmosphere

Villa Victor Louis is authentic in my opinion and I liked staying there however keep in mind that there’s no elevator and we got a room in the attic which is I believe 6th floor so it was a bit of stairs climb

Highs and lows at Villa Victor Louis. Very charming villa in a quiet neighborhood in Bordeaux. The receptionist was very helpful, she offered to handle our reservation for a nearby parking when we arrived

We took a train A from the airport and walked 15 min to the Villa. We were lucky to arrive before 9 pm because staff leave at 9 and I’m not sure what’s the arrangements for these arriving past that time

However the room was very cute, the bed comfortable and I liked that windows could be fully open. The location is pretty convenient- it’s 5 min walk to the bus and 15 to the train
