We chose Alexander Park to stay as it close to Chambéry Airport and are glad we did. Adequately sized room with two double beds which were very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant when we arrived and the food was superb for both adults and children. Everyone was helpful and our children loved the park. Would love to come back in the summer when the pool is open.

The hotel is right next to Annecy train station, which makes travel very convenient. The room is decent. The only downside is that there are railway tracks downstairs, but the double-glazed windows make it less noisy.

The receptionist didn't explain how to use the elevator keys. Many people thought the elevator was broken and kept getting on and off. Some even took the stairs. Even though the elevator was right there, no front desk staff came to help or show us how to use it. We had to learn how to use the keys from other guests. I've never seen a hotel so disorganized and uncaring.

We were there for professional meetings. Our room was on the 5th floor, number 511. The minibar was not stocked. The bed was poorly made. The bed linen was falling. We are really very disappointed. The explanations for linen of the bedding are not acceptable when you have a very bad night.

I felt a little odor when I entered the room, I told the waiter, and it felt fresher the next day! The location is very convenient, just near the train station/bus station, there is a train passing by around 6 o'clock in the morning, and there is a sound! Room was not properly cleaned as we could see someone had spilled a beverage and left there until we arrived. Towels were missing from the room and we had to request them. I’m not sure how this hotel got a 4* rating. Didn’t feel clean, aircon broke (looking at reviews since at least 2023), no door look out hole, cheaply painted and wall papered rooms felt like a hostel. Walking into reception looked nice but as soon as you used the stairs to get to room it looked like a block of flats. Requires refurb.
