The series is warm and welcoming, but the building is kinda old and breakfast is quite simple. Anyway it's acceptable with such nice service.

Family trip to visit Grenoble and ski at Chamrousse. Very well located to arrive by TGV and take the bus to Chamrousse. Clean, small and comfortable room. Breakfast very good, specially if you want to save time to reach the bus or train station.

Overall good experience, great location, 3-4 mins walk from the train station and buses to the ski resorts; except the hotel should really look at customers request carefully, we booked 2 single beds, but the beds were not separated in the first night. And they said they will separate our beds in the following morning, but it didn’t happened when we returned.

This place was just OK. I know I'm in Europe, and I know I'm in an old part of France, but the room was so tiny. I could hardly move around. I mean, you know the place is small when you can't even move your legs to the front of the toilet because you're so close to the wall. The shower was super small, too. Another thing was that I was so tired because of jet lag that I hung the "Do Not Disturb" sign...

Lovely hotel with really helpful and friendly staff. We opted for a larger room with a balcony, which was great. The location was handy for both the lake and for walking into Annecy centre. There were a number of car parks as well as shops (including boulangeries) in the immediate vicinity of the horel. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

This is a fantastic hotel if you want to be close to the lake. It's a 5 minute walk to the water's edge. It is in a quiet area with plenty of car parks nearby. Loved our time here.

Nice place, located close to the lake and a 10min to the centre. First nigth had some aircon noise, but it was fixed next day.

I have been staying there many years, and the proprietors always make me feel at home. The hotel is carved out of a very old building with very modern arty upgrades.

From the moment we arrived through our departure, we felt welcomed and cared for. Charlotte was a great help throughout our stay and gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner. Marcel, the hotel mascot, was a bonus treat. Our room was lovely and the location was fabulous. We couldn’t recommend the Petit Hotel Confidential enough!

A real gem!! This Hotel went FAR beyond expectations- The sauna /spa is extraordinary- a real treat. If you’re driving into the hotel make sure you follow the entrance instructions. The restaurant and bar are “petite” and positively delightful. Can we give a 6th star????

Great location with ski-in & ski-out. The food was excellent and the staff were outstanding. Very helpful concierge with easy to communicate via what’s app. The room was very clean and nicely decorated but a bit dark. They needed a few more lights in them. Great location, nice and helpful reception staff, good that there is a covered car park (charged). The bathroom needs some TLC and more attention to cleaning. We really liked the hotel near the Lyon train station; it's in a good location and we slept very well. Some parts of the room are old, like the furniture, and they weren't very clean, but the bed, which is the most important thing, and the sheets were very good. I recommend it.

Clean room and good property with 5-7 min walk to the nearest metro station. Easy access to the city and walkable access to some museums.

Being in a very old building meant the room was unique. Some good points: excellent lighting, many electrical outlets, an espresso machine. Also although this was the Vieux Lyon area with many bars and restaurants, the double windows meant it was very quiet. I chose the hotel based mostly on location, but also as Best Western has a good reputation and the price was fairly reasonable. It was easy to park nearby in a public garage and a decent walk to all the sights. The room was, however, minuscule, and the shower almost flooded the bathroom. It should probably get two stars but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent city centre hotel. Quiet, comfy bed and friendly staff. The decor may not be as modern - but its got an amazing French hotel atmosphere - wonderful internal murals etc. If you want bland - stay in a chain hotel. If you want a comfortable Grenoble experience - stay here.

I visited Grenoble for a week and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were professional and kind, and I really liked my room—it was clean, neat, and comfortable. The hotel is located in the center of the city, the best location I could have stayed. The service was amazing. I will definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.
