Short walk to city center. Parking on property is too small for most cars, but there is public parking a few blocks away.

Our stay at the Mercure was amazing. From checking in to check-out all staff were very polite, had a smile and made welcome during out stay. I’m not sure how this hotel got a 4* rating. Didn’t feel clean, aircon broke (looking at reviews since at least 2023), no door look out hole, cheaply painted and wall papered rooms felt like a hostel. Walking into reception looked nice but as soon as you used the stairs to get to room it looked like a block of flats. Requires refurb.

The location is good, right next to the ancient Roman theater. Other attractions are a bit of a walk away, but all are within walking distance. The hotel service is standard, the cleanliness is good, there is a restaurant and facilities, and the parking lot is quite large. We really liked the hotel near the Lyon train station; it's in a good location and we slept very well. Some parts of the room are old, like the furniture, and they weren't very clean, but the bed, which is the most important thing, and the sheets were very good. I recommend it.

Everything as expected, positively, which counts for a lot when you’re scouring more economic choices. Clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast has a good choice, reasonable enough for 20 bucks. Underground parking is extra for guests (why I don’t know as it was pretty empty). Bit of a Fawlty Towers style lift (hiccups to a stop) and stairs are good exercise anyway.

Easy parking during my stopover in Clermont-Ferrand. I didn't see many staff but they came to my room to help with TV. Breakfat was good.

While the hotel is a bit out of town, it's still convenient, just a few minutes' drive away, and parking is affordable. The room and parking lot are both spacious. There's a Carrefour next to the hotel, making it convenient for shopping.
