Where to stay in Tbilisi

This hotel was perfectly placed for our visit. We could easily walk to the metro, many eateries were close by, it was safe and easy to walk or ride from Liberty Square. The breakfasts were excellent. The staff was young and very courteous. Service was good, our room was cleaned daily, the elevator worked well and we had everything we needed.

Very well-located hotel in the old town. It is located a five minute walk from Freedom Square and ten minutes from the Peace Bridge. The breakfast was excellent; there was a wide choice at the buffet and you could also order hot dishes such as omelette and shakshuka. We were allowed a late check-out due to our evening flight.

Staff is very friendly, and accommodating. The room was clean. The breakfast Buffett was filling and had good varieties. The hotel is very close to the airport. There was no pool or sauna, but most of the staff were smiling and professional especially Nino, she is a charm.

Good location in Tbilisi old town. Our Junior Room was quite spacious & comfortable. My only issue is that the hotel chooses not to provide cups or mugs for tea and coffee. Instead there were 2 paper cups. This is not what I expect from any good hotel

We spent only one night at Grand Palace Hotel, but the hospitality left a lasting impression. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety, and the staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate a friend’s birthday by arranging a cake. The team at the reception was exceptionally kind and welcoming. A short stay, but a very memorable one.

When we got to the hotel, they told us the hotel was full so they had to move us to another hotel and it took two hours, and I am not happy about it. The breakfast on the other Hotel was not as good as grand Palace to PC.

There is no room measuring 54 m². I paid the price for a room with a king bed and a sofa bed measuring 54 m², which was 290 gel, and I received a standard room measuring 27 m² with a king bed, which was 130 gel.

I booked five rooms for two days, starting August 9th, but only four were available. The hotel claimed it was Trip.com's mistake and denied responsibility. I had no choice but to pay an additional $200 and stay in a vacant suite for two nights. I even called the police to complain, a truly absurd experience. The hotel has an excellent location. Nearby is the landmark Freedom Square, as well as a large shopping mall. The bus and railway stations are only 3 minutes away, making it very convenient to go anywhere.

Got a tiny room in what seemed like the basement, it’s uphill and quite a bit of a walk from freedom square. Very few vegetarian options for breakfast, the in house spa is expensive, the only reason I rated the service as three stars because they offered assistance early morning when I wanted to take a cold medication. This hotel has many floors, most rooms are classed as standard, but there is no comparison between a standard ground floor room (some are below ground level and have limited natural light) and upper floor rooms. Compared to other international destinations, the rooms were basic but acceptable. However, the food was below standard, and the dining staff seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming. To make matters worse, the AC wasn’t working as it had been intentionally turned off, which made the stay uncomfortable. That said, it remains a budget-friendly option for travelers prioritizing cost over comfort.

Its a good budgetry hotel with fair prices but dont expect more as services are limited here. Room service is mostly available in the day time and no one in the night. Sometimes you yourself need to go to reception and pick things up. Also make sure to get one different charging socket as georgia has different charging points and not the international ones.
