Living Hotel Prinzessin Elisabeth in Munchen

The double room was well-equipped with a small kitchenette and refrigerator. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of storage space.

The sauna and fitness room were great. The breakfast was delicious, with both savory and sweet options; nothing was lacking.

Of course, the hotel's 80s/90s style takes some getting used to, but it was perfectly adequate for a few days.

The only drawback was the price of parking in the underground garage at €24 per day.

The property wasn't easy to evaluate from outside, but once we entered into the room, we were highly impressed. Spacious accommodation - 2 floors with very clean and quality fit and finish furniture, floor, walls, kitchen, bathroom, beds, and other items. There are 2 beds with a full bath upstairs and 1 bed and a half bath downstairs. The bathroom was extremely clean with pretty nice quality of materials used in it. The kitchen has some utensils, cups & plates, silverware, etc. if anybody wishes to cook/warm up food. It has a small refrigerator and a microwave. Most importantly the kitchen is also equipped with an electric water heater and an espresso machine with 4 pods! I believe there is a mini mart/small grocery store very close by, but due to our odd times for checking in and out, we couldn't tell how the store is. We walked and caught a city bus to go the city center (downtown) to walk around (after 8 pm on December 26th) and had an amazing dinner at an excellent German restaurant (Google recommendation). We took a walk next morning by the river after checking out toward city center again. Eventually took a bus and spent some time and had quick breakfast before taking the train to the Munich airport to return to California. You can purchase a day family pass for 25 Euros that works for train and bus. We did mess up spending more for a worse deal on the night of our arrival (45 Euros).
By the way, the day rate for the hotel was very reasonable compared to other places.

I travel a lot to Munich for work, and if I am to choose the hotel myself I always choose Living Hotel Prinzessen Elisabeth. The rooms are spacious and cosy, the prices are affordable, the employees are always friendly and service minded and the wellness center is very nice with a very good sauna. It's also practical to have a mini kitchen in the room, and a shop (REWE) next door to the hotel.
The hotel is situated in a very beautiful neighborhood in Munich, with many good restaurants close by (a good one even in the hotel but my favorite is the incredible restaurant Il Piccolo Principe only 150 meters from the hotel) and also cafes (my favorite is Eiscafé Italia only 400 meters from the hotel).
The nearness to the Isar river is also wonderful, both for walking and also if you wanna have a swim in the river.

Very nice staff. Grocery store directly beside hotel. Bus stop close. Marienplatz is 20 min walk. Christmas markets nice with great food and handmade ornaments. I’ve stayed at this property 4 times. Great location that’s quiet and safe. Nice size rooms. Hotel breakfast is good, buffet style with too many items to list.

I love the Hotel, the business apartment are big, comfortable and with all services I need for a long stay. Maybe there were some details to improve. Details about maintenance: lights above the bead and the kitchen didn't work, two shelves are broken in the wardrobe and problems with the heat. I was surprise, in 2023 the rate of the breakfast was 12 euros, and now 24 euros. I guess in two years, the inflation in Germany was not 100%.

I had a wonderful stay at Living Hotel Prinzessin Elisabeth in Munich. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s design has a charming, slightly vintage style that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Great location near the Isar River, with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights whilst visiting Munich. The room and facilities were very good.
It is set in a tranquil area about a 30 minute walk from the old town centre.
The staff were very helpful. One member of staff made very good recommendations about local attractions.

Room was outdated, it was nice that it had a fridge, microwave and stove along with utensils, plates and pots if needed. There is a small grocery store next door which made it convenient.
