Does not work. Well intentioned staff but does not work. They have a self service check in which was done for both check in and check out. The hotel is not staffed after a certain early evening our which is neither safe nor helpful when for example my luggage was in storage and could not be takem out easily. Also be careful. Not on Marias Platzl. Rooms are clean bit Do not bother.

I got this hotel because ******* said the hotel had a bar. When we showed up we found out the bar wasn’t open on Monday and Tuesday. Then on Wednesday we found out the bar doesn’t open until 5pm. I’m not sure who comes to a foreign country and doesn’t have dinner planned outside of their hotel. Honestly I’ve only ever done lunch and breakfas. anyway…that would be fine but the hotels “bar” (I.e selective sponsored beer and wine only) is only open for those hours as well. Disappointed. Also there is no lunch service. So if you do sleep in and miss breakfast oh well!
Also there’s really no front desk service. You come in and have to sign in via a tablet that can’t input UK postal codes. There’s absolutely no human interaction. If you have questions? Pick up the phone and hope someone answers!

Friendly, Comfortable, Quirky and Affordable
Friendly, Comfortable, Quirky and Affordable is what you get at this quaint accommodation. Slightly away from “main” attractions for vacationers (but okay if you’re fairly mobile or willing to take a simple bus) however when considering the cost savings compared to staying in the center of things it makes sense for many.

Lovely hotel with quirky design touches
Loved the room, it had a quirky design, well presented and clean. Lovely breakfast selection, yummy scrambled eggs. Great shower, good toiletries and necessities. Bed comfortable, pillows not so comfortable. Air-con would have been a plus, but there was a fan in the room which was put to good use

Very nice small hotel. Our room was very comfortable and clever design with good storage and all felt quite new.
Great location for us who wanted to be outside of inner city but easy for public transport and walking.
Reception hours are limited but one can call.

Great staff but room was small
The Hotel staff are great however our room was a little awkward with the bed wedged in a corner with a slanted wall. The electrical switches were confusing, had to try so many combinations of turning on and off switches to make certain outlets work.

Beautiful hotel, clean and updated. Nice restaurant and beer garden onsite, other bars, restaurants and bakery conveniently located with a short walk. Onsite parking available for a reasonable rate, as well as convenient public transportation options.

A smaller hotel a little further away from the city centre. We loved it! All staff were excellent. the restaurant food was delicious. Restaurant staff were friendly, great to talk to, helpful and friendly. Thank you for a great stay! The cream and fruit dessert and rhubarb crumble were amazing!

It is estimated that this hotel is a former inn, located in Munich's unique old town. When you go out for a walk, you will find big museums, large and small rivers, and a very local living environment. It's very convenient to go anywhere. A lot of thought was put into the hotel's design, and I personally think it's worth trying this kind of non-standard guest room design. Cleanliness and hygiene are up to standard. Just because this kind of historical building does not allow the installation of air conditioning, Munich is still quite hot in July, so ventilation is very important. The front desk staff is very attentive and responsible, and the breakfast is also very local.
