Prime location near Karlsplatz station – perfect for exploring Munich's old town and Oktoberfest!
Clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds, though some lack windows and AC.
Friendly staff and decent breakfast, but nightclub downstairs can be noisy weekends.

1. Lousy & oily breakfast. Diarrhea most of the time whenever taken the hotel breakfast. 2. Hotel has no reception after 11pm, anything happens you bear your own safety responsibility. 3. A russian bar right below the hotel rarher messy & noisy on Friday night after 9pm. 4. The only good point is the hotel location. PLEASE AVOID STAYING IN THIS HOTEL.

The hotel is located in the old town, close to places like Piazza Marienplatz. It is convenient for dining and shopping nearby, and also convenient for getting around. The rooms are simple and practical, and the single bed is just enough for one person.

Rooms were ok but all the hotel needs refurbishment and there are no electricity sockets beside the beds which is very strange to charge mobiles or anything, only one socket beside the door and below the TV. There is no kettle or fridge in the rooms. I would look for another hotel next time. The only good thing is the location on the main street and walking distance 5 min to the city center. There is also a bar below which is very noisy all night.

Great location 100 meters from the day trip bus stop on the corner and the metro. Rooms are basic and clean. Not fancy, nothing I didn't want. Friendly staff. Next door to a pizza place. Nice continental breakfast. WiFi is free, capped at 5mbps but that'd enough for a bit of YouTube and podcasting and admin.

No AC, rooms are unbearably hot. Shower head, and the shower door were broken which cause water to go everywhere. And no fan in the shower. We asked to pay to switch rooms and they said no. We had no option but to pay for a new hotel at another location. They offered no solution and no refund. We went to Buddys Hotel across the street which was great.

If I go back to Munich, I would stay at the Hotel Daniel, for the location and the price, it's a lovely hotel that's just a short walk from the train station, and to Marienplatz. Breakfast is extra so be sure to reserve it. But yeah, the elevator is super small, it's honestly impressive.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Sara checked us in, and she gave us a bunch of great recommendations. :)
