Hotel opened in 1900, renovated in 2006. In this hotel 26 rooms, 5 floors.

Clean rooms with plenty of space.
Only thing: maybe loose the wall to wall carpets as i doubt they can be cleaned as well as hard floors.
Beds were not the best, but reasonable for the price.

Location: alright. Pretty close the center and the central station, although it’s not the nicest neighbourhood.

Acceptable mid level hotel with some weird quirks

pros: Rooms were spacious
- Beds were acceptably comfortable
- Central to marienplatz and central station

cons:

- keys are stubborn
- bathroom was not too clean. Some hair and dirt in shower
- room was quite cold

This hotel has seen better times. It’s time to say good bye. Not suitable for travelers, elders, or early birds. If you have an early flight to catch be ready to carry your suitcases down de stairs because they shut down the lift from 10 PM to 7 AM, ILLOGICAL!!!! Zero recommended.

First of all, the energy of the friendly and sympathetic receptionist was great. (He is 92 years old, the reason I mention this is that he is a very sympathetic and respectable person) Hotel owners should be honoured to work with such a person. The hotel is not luxurious but the hospitality of these wonderful people is beyond anything else.
Only 4 minutes walk from the main train station and walking distance to the city centre. I recommend you to choose it.

Overall a nice hotel but it was very loud at night, I found that it got noisy around dinner time at the restaurant with seating in the courtyard and doesn't quiet down till around 11 30pm, so not very good for light sleepers. Also during our stay there was a film festival which we were not advised of when booking that had multiple floodlights shining into our room.

I had stayed there, Room is good , breakfast is good and it is optional.
It is having very small and old lift. There are chances to stuck in lift. Staff is good and helpful.

Location is great but the street is pretty busy. The rooms were quaint and clean. Reception was very helpful and genuinely nice.
