I stayed there the last night before leaving Munich. It’s not in the city center but near U-bahn in walking distance. The staffs are super helpful and friendly helping me out about how to go to the airport and leaving time. I love the atmosphere and lovely note in the elevator. It’s a quiet area, so I try to arrive the hotel before dark. Easy to go to airport.
Temperature is hard to manage. Tends to get overheated in the room, especially the bathroom.
Maintenance staff could improve attention to detail: if you’re cleaning the room, you need to restock toilet paper, not just the towels / linens.
Odd incident: On a day that I did not request cleaning, I found a new water bottle in my room. Which means someone was in there when they were not supposed to.
The room was otherwise fine, not very big but it had a nice view. There was no hair conditioner or skin moisturizer in the bathroom. There was a big panoramic window with a view overlooking Leuchtenbergring.
At dinner I had the best mango coconut soup with grilled shrimp. The schnitzel and fries was ok (see picture).
Before check out, which was at 11 am, the cleaning person kept on asking if he can get in to clean the room when I went out for a walk. Then we hung out around the room waiting for me to leave, which felt slightly stressful.
Very friendly service at the breakfast (an older man seemed to really enjoy working as a waiter bringing joy to everyone with his friendliness).
I checked in for a night in the first week of Dezember and the hotel seemed pretty full.
