Living Hotel Prinzessin Elisabeth, Munchen1 / 30
8.4
Munchen, Geyerstraße 52, Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The double room was well-equipped with a small kitchenette and refrigerator. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of storage space. The sauna and fitness room were great. The breakfast was delicious, with both savory and sweet options; nothing was lacking. Of course, the hotel's 80s/90s style takes some getting used to, but it was perfectly adequate for a few days. The only drawback was the...
The property wasn't easy to evaluate from outside, but once we entered into the room, we were highly impressed. Spacious accommodation - 2 floors with very clean and quality fit and finish furniture, floor, walls, kitchen, bathroom, beds, and other items. There are 2 beds with a full bath upstairs and 1 bed and a half bath downstairs. The bathroom was extremely clean with pretty nice quality of materials...
Very nice staff. Grocery store directly beside hotel. Bus stop close. Marienplatz is 20 min walk. Christmas markets nice with great food and handmade ornaments. I’ve stayed at this property 4 times. Great location that’s quiet and safe. Nice size rooms. Hotel breakfast is good, buffet style with too many items to list.
I travel a lot to Munich for work, and if I am to choose the hotel myself I always choose Living Hotel Prinzessen Elisabeth. The rooms are spacious and cosy, the prices are affordable, the employees are always friendly and service minded and the wellness center is very nice with a very good sauna. It's also practical to have a mini kitchen in the room, and a shop (REWE) next door to the hotel. The...
I love the Hotel, the business apartment are big, comfortable and with all services I need for a long stay. Maybe there were some details to improve. Details about maintenance: lights above the bead and the kitchen didn't work, two shelves are broken in the wardrobe and problems with the heat. I was surprise, in 2023 the rate of the breakfast was 12 euros, and now 24 euros. I guess in two years, the...
I had a wonderful stay at Living Hotel Prinzessin Elisabeth in Munich. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s design has a charming, slightly vintage style that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Great location near the Isar River, with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

Clean room, comfortable bed. However quite expensive for the location and the amenities (lack of). Also need to pay for parking. But was there during Oktoberfest so..
The rooms were very cold and shower is an unusual focal point which would not be to everyones taste. I had a fault with the shower but once reported was rectified quickly.
Stayed for 2 nights, hotel is clean with pleasant and helpful staff, offers a good breakfast. Will stay here again.
Lovely staff, spacious room, and the complimentary amenities such as daily mineral water and coffee really added to the enjoyment of our stay.
Very friendly and clean, can only recommend 🙏🌹
We liked this hotel, modern, clean, large room and in this case occupied by a number of "Swifties". Whilst the shower was very good that it was entirely made of transparent glass was a little off putting. The staff were friendly and it was nice to sit in the courtyard bar in the late evening.

We had a wonderful stay at Obermeier, and managed to use public transport into Munich effficiently. The breakfast was amazing, and we also made good use of the lovely reception and bar areas. Staff were incredible, and very understanding when I flew off with my room key! It would be very hard not to return if I ever came to Munich again.
Absolutely wonderful! We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were as advertised, everything was exceptionally clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel bar was nice and had great options. I would absolutely stay here again! We had a great time, thank you!
Well, there was nothing wrong, but things could have been better. They are not directly accessible by public traffic, like 500m from Trudering, where you can get anywhere. Or two bus stops, and the stops are literally at the station or in front of the hotel. Service was ok, but I did not receive my complimentary drink. I didn't complain and demand it. Also, I was there for two days, but did clean...
Great room, modern and super clean. Also, a great breakfast with lots of options
Breakfast was exceptional, hotel was impeccably clean. Needs were great room was spacious, parking was easy. Staff was very helpful.
There is no air condition in the room. That is a big minus, because it was hot and couldn't sleep till 23:00 when the temperature outside droped and had to have the windows fully opened the whole night. For 200 euros per night with breakfast would have expected the room to have the AC. The room was clean. The bathroom too. Breakfast was a 5+. They really have it almost perfect. I hope they have...

The arrival was very relaxed. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and clearly explained all the important details upon arrival. We had booked a room with a kitchen. The room was very clean and well-equipped. The breakfast deserves special mention – it was fantastic, very plentiful, and left nothing to be desired. The only minor point of criticism: The garage costs €20 for 24 hours. If you...
The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is closed to train station. I will choose this hotel for my next trip to Munich!
The breakfast is excellent. It is clean.
The hotel is in quite a convenience location, near to train station. The room is spacious and with a little kitchenette.
Great business hotel, suite was spacious. Shares facilities with the Courtyard Marriott, they are pretty much the same hotel. Breakfast is good, and complimentary coffee is available all day.

The Good: Sizeable room. Best bed, not too hard not to soft, best bed to sleep on, once you sleep, you wouldn’t want to get out of the bed. Location was near the central station and when get off the station only 5 mins walk to the hotel.
Decent place to stay in Munich for a few days. The location is okay within 10 minutes by tram from the central station. There is no room cleaning services if the stay is less than a week, but it is manageable. In general, it is a recommendable place in Munich for tourists.
Great location. Amenities are good but gym is a little smaller. Saw some silverfish bugs in the bathroom. They don’t collect trash during the week. You have to go downstairs and throw it out yourself.
Overall comfortable stay, good sized room - good offering of tea bags, coffee and hot chocolate beverage options at the lobby especially helpful for the cold weather. Thankful for the bdae cookies plate. Easy tram ride right outside the hotel to Marienplatz and Hbf. Only downside is we got the room facing the road so the noise from the tram and traffic may not be ideal.
Travelled as a family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers. No particular requests. But I thought it would be reasonable to allocate us 2 rooms on the same level. Instead we were given rooms on split levels requiring use of room cards to access each other rooms on different levels. One room card to my kids so that they can access my room and another room card to maintain electricity at the door. So we are left...

Flemings Hotel München-City, Munchen1 / 30

Somewhat noisy as it is near the main station which is still under construction, but overall is good for the price given.
Had a lovely stay at The Fleming's. Arrived 2 hours before check in time, but the helpful staff still gave us our room. On our final day we had to get up early to get to the airport and again the helpful staff allowed us into breakfast early so we could eat before departing. Location of the hotel is great being very close to the central station. Overall a great stay.
We had an excellent stay at Flemings Hotel Munich. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to both the main train and bus stations, making travel super easy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We especially loved the unique, stylish room design; it felt very cosy and romantic, perfect for a couples' trip. Highly recommended...
We selected this hotel as it had good reviews online, and fitted with our plans. It also was reasonably priced and was good value. It is convenient to the central station, underground, and tram services, and it is about a 10 minute walk from the old town. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and well decorated, and had nice welcoming amenities in the lobby. The rooms were very comfortable and well...
Excellent hotel in the city center of Munich, very good service, comfortable, quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast in the restaurant below the hotel was excellent. The hotel is very close to public transportation. Highly recommend for those looking for proximity to the city center at a not very expensive price. I will come back here again
Location was on point! Upon arrival, our checked in staff (a lady) was super amazing. Loved our room. Though we didn’t quite like the staffs at the breakfast counter. The rest of the stay was great!

Overall, a good stay. The room was a bit larger than expected, but the location made up for it. It could have been better signal or booster and also the Wi-Fi a bit faster." The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options. Bed mattresses and pillows weren't that comfortable as the twin beds put pushed together which we as couple didn't enjoy it.
Hotel was decent. The rooms were a good size. The mattresses were very hard to the point that they were quite uncomfortable and difficult to get a good sleep.
The breakfast was as healthy or as indulgent as one wished. There was a great variety of food and the service was prompt and courteous.
Room was good size and very clean. Location is also great. Train station and Oktoberfest are easily walkable. Breakfast was amazing!
The staff was friendly, engaged, and helpful. The rooms were not elegant, but were clean, functional, and the air conditioner worked well. It was excellent for our needs. The location was excellent and had very good restaurants nearby. One of our best dinners was at Restaurant Athene.
Excellent nearby restaurants Athena for Greek, San Bello Italian and Baal tapas/pub. Quite far from oldtown so used the subway which was good. Deep and slippery tub with nothing to hold onto, no coffee/tea in room but otherwise nice hotel. Breakfast was good.

I wasn’t expecting a balcony in the room, so that was a nice surprise. The view from it wasn’t anything special, but it was perfectly fine. The room itself was very large. The kitchen came with all the cookware and utensils you could possibly need — I didn’t actually use them, but everything was neatly arranged and spotlessly clean. There were also plenty of seating options inside: bar chairs, a...
Nice facilities, a bit of a walk to the old town but acceptable.  They only clean your room every three days, that wasn’t what I was expecting.
It was a great stay with a warm welcome and a very friendly front desk.
The room is very spacious and new, and the location is also good. I highly recommend it.
Overall the hotel is nice. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the balcony had a nice city view. The room was also very spacious. Only problem was the cleaning. The cleaning ladies left cleaning supplies in our room once and somehow we have 2 shampoos 1 conditioner but no body wash.
It's acceptable, but not particularly cheap. The breakfast selection is varied, and the location is quite convenient with a supermarket nearby. They only cleaned the room once during my three-day stay, so service isn't a highlight. The light was broken and it took a day for someone to fix it. Overall, there weren't any major issues, but for this price, I would have expected better.

Everything was wonderful. The only negative point was that the room was very small, and the bathroom was extremely small, to the point that the door had to be kept open. A big positive was that they offered free water whenever you wanted.
Hotel is nice but water heater wasn’t working for 2 nights which was a damper.
My husband and I spent 4 days at this hotel: really nice bar and lounge, comfortable and modern room, strategic position very close to the main squares of Munich where you can take any kind of public transport. People on duty very efficient, kind, specially Ivan. The night rate was about 84 per room without breakfast, so quite good. We'll come back the soonest!!
I would like to suggest this hotel! The room is cozy and comfortable, and the breakfast is great too! walkable distance to the old town
Nice hotel, good location, and very clean. The only issue is that there’s usually just one person at reception, so check-in can take a long time. They also have a self check-in machine, but it’s not very efficient because you still need to collect the room keys from the staff. I think the reception area should be larger, and having only one person there isn’t adequate.
I loved this hotel! My husband and I stayed here for his 40th birthday, and it was our first time in Munich. I wasn’t entirely sure how central this location would be, but it turned out to be perfect — safe, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. I couldn’t have been happier with our choice. We stayed for five nights in May 2025, and after studying what felt like every hotel in the city, Cocoon Sendlinger...

Great, yet simply furnished hotel in a good location. In my room, the cold water at the sink wasn't working, but otherwise everything was perfect and clean. Breakfast was also top-notch, and the staff extremely friendly.
Met up with family and stayed at this hotel. Location was great, right by the train line. Asked the receptionist to recommend somewhere to go on our first day. She suggested a Spring fest that was taking place. What an experience, without her suggestion we would never of know about it or found it.
Room is a bit old but comfortable. Good location close to harras . .
The location was fantastic, very close to the station and within easy reach of the city center. The neighborhood felt very safe, which was a big plus. It was also great to have a supermarket and a coin laundry within walking distance. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I stayed in the single room which seems to be recently renovated. I’m very satisfied with the service and room.
Spent a weekend in Munich, one day visiting Neuschwanstein Castle and another day Salzburg. Both trips departed from the main train station, and on the third day, I headed to the airport, also from the station. It turned out to be incredibly convenient, just a few minutes walk to the platforms.
Great location, and the facilities and service were excellent. Very satisfied with my stay.
This hotel is super close, only about a 5-minute walk from Munich Central Station. The hotel itself is a bit older, but it's very well-maintained and clean. For a Japanese person, the room felt incredibly spacious and comfortable.

The other staff members were all very nice, but do be aware of an older, short-haired Caucasian woman in the restaurant. She clearly discriminates against Asians. Of course, perhaps she's had some unfortunate experiences that have...

The service was good and the environment was okay, but the bedding in our room wasn't changed. When I touched it, it didn't feel like the usual crisp, laundered hotel sheets. After sleeping one night, I broke out in a rash... I stayed for three days and had a rash all three days.
It was okay. Overall, hotels abroad aren't as convenient as those in China.

I recently stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Munich’s city center and while the staff were truly wonderful—friendly, attentive, and eager to help—the accommodations left much to be desired. Staff was great and room was spotless. Location perfect. But 1) our bed(s) were in bad need of replacement and 2) the temperature of our room was super hot at night - the controller didn’t seem to work, so we had to sleep with the window open in October - letting noise, moisture, and allergens in.
The air conditioning was weak and didn’t get close to the set point temp. This is my only complaint, otherwise great experience.
This was a great hotel. Staff was fabulous and location was ideal…short tram ride to Oktoberfest. The AC still needs work and this could have been solved with a fan. We could walk to Matienplstz and plenty of dining nearby.
The staff was fabulous! Jerry made the s feel very welcome and escorted us to the room. The hotel was clean…except for the ugly brown shag carpet that looks like it’s been around since the 70s. Cozy hotel. Good breakfast. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Everything you needed was in the room. The metro is relatively close. The area is quiet.
A boutique hotel that is located not to far from the main stations and to subway. Rooms and common areas are good. Sometimes the service has been a bit "stingy" by not refilling soap, shampoo, etc. even if it was clearly finishing. Breakfast is not bad but kind of expensive is bought separately. The area has good bars and restaurants.
Although it's a bit out of the city center, it's a quiet, value-for-money hotel that I'd love to stay at again. While there's no bike storage, I was able to store my bike under the eaves in the parking lot. The breakfast was also satisfactory, and the reception staff spoke English.

For a one day trip it is enough and good. Close to the central station. Staffs were very kind :) Thank you
The room price is reasonable and the room is clean. It is quite small, but good enough for a short stay. The location is also very convenient.
