If you're looking for a quiet hotel away from city centre, then this hotel would be great. There are many food places nearby, also within a 5-min walk there's a small supermarket and a petrol station. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar too.
The building seems pretty old, so the room setting is quite old too (the bathroom is the most obvious). But the room is well maintained and clean. There is free coffee at the lobby area until 5pm everyday.
There are many plants and flowers around the hotel, and there's a cute beehive too. Which I thought was lovely.
The only thing is, it's a little far from the nearest train station (Taufkirchen). It's at least a 10 to 15mins walk, depending on your speed and if you're dragging luggages along the uneven tiled paths. The train also comes every 15 minutes so you have to take note and arrive on time, if not it's a 15-min wait for the next one. But there are nearby shops you can buy food from while waiting (the Discount Bäckerei nearby sells good pastries/bread). It also takes around 30-40mins to reach the usual popular places in Munich, and you'll usually need to change trains at Munich Ost or Munich Hbf.
The location and traveling time is the only reason why I gave it a 4-star. If not, it's a pretty good hotel to stay at.

Clean, breakfast ok. My room had an electric short-circuit as I tried to switch on the light on the desk. I had to ask the reception to give me another room. They gave me an upgrade and a bigger more comfortable room :-)

Nice hotel with great employees, the staff is certainly what makes this hotel good.
Unfortunately there are some things that could be improved:
The rooms and bathrooms are dated and could do with an update.
Bedding is absolutely horrendous, bed sheets and pillows more adequate of a prison than an hotel.
The prices at the bar & restaurant are outrageously high.

Hotel is nothing special, very focused for business and not so much for leisure as it is not located in a convenient location. Front desk is knowledgeable and friendly. If you're looking for something more central, I personally wouldn't recommend this hotel. One thing that also made me choose this hotel, is the price. If you're looking to take advantage of a reasonably prices hotel, then this is a good option.

The hotel was well equipped, rooms were clean, the price was fair. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to take public transportation as the S train is quite far, lots of stairs, it seems to be easier if you arrive by car. Otherwise, the water temperature in the shower was a bit inconsistent and the water pressure on the toilet was weak. Beds were comfortable and service at the reception was good.

I visited during the Oktoberfest and there was three wet patches of piss on the floor, assumably from previous guest .
I checked in late so didn't notice it as I walked around in shoes mostly, but noticed it the day after when it was lighter and walking around without shoes. I didn't report as there was a chance they would put the blame on me, as I didn't report when I checked in. Not recommending this place as it's very far from city too. The facilities like food etc. is very low too....

Decent rooms, location is a bit far from public transportation and nearby have no decent restaurants.
