Very good hotel, great service, and friendly staff. I found the breakfast to be expensive.

Location, room, service, and breakfast were all excellent. Unfortunately, the elevator in the guesthouse was out of order. I was immediately offered a luggage service and free entry to the sauna, which I thought was very thoughtful. The breakfast is superb. A wide variety of dishes and extras, such as waffle batter for making your own. The room was very large and well-equipped.

I stayed in the annex hotel not  main hotel booking and would have been a better experience as I had to cross the street  to go to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Really good customer service. Sauna &pool awesome. Breakfast awesome.

Stayed with family before Christmas, it was quiet, walking distance from the centre and public transport outside the hotel. Big choice of breakfast and the room we stayed in was big for all of us.

Friendly staff at the front desk. There’s no pool (in case you see the pictures from old reviews). Our room was great. You can hear the tram but not enough to bother us. The hotel is right in front of the Arena and near tram station.

Mixed feelings. Great space and staff. However, due to an event, the parking I was told they had for guests, was used up. They sent us to a parking garage, which was a pretty far walk and was also full for 8 of the 9 floors, so it was a long walk down the stairs, as the elevator was broken. Also, there was no evening restaurant, just the bar, which did get us food, but really slow with the event...

Can't say much about the service since I stayed there for only one night but feels not right to give more than 3 stars because I basically didn't experienced much. Breakfast was good, rooms were a little small but enough for one person. Sadly the TV didn't functioned perfectly. Was here for the Chase Atlantic concert- PERFECT location since it was right across from the arena and I didn't have to worry about walking through Köln at night, which as a solo traveling 20± yo woman was beyond fantastic ~ ♡ Staff was really nice and accommodating + breakfast was top. Perfect if you are driving or passing by. The hotel is stylish and spacious. Service is great. Not idea for families or with kids. You do need to venture out to get into town via tram. It is not quite the Marriot experience, only because of the location. A bit out of town , local residential area. Ideal for biz travellers who want peace and chill at the bar.

It's okay to stay here while attending an exhibition

The best part of the stay was the desk attendants ( Olga and Constance). They did everything they could to make the stay the best it could be.  Overall the room was way overpriced for what it offered. The room was lacking many of the standard amenities that other hotels offer. Even to the point you have to request room cleaning and hope to get it. We stayed 10 days and never received a room cleaning...

This is the perfect place for car lovers.

Hotel Lyskirchen is very well located and easily accessible. The room was perfectly clean and equipped with everything needed. The elevator was out of order, but the staff carried our luggage upstairs, which was much appreciated. A very good hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights while in Cologne, check in was very pleasant and staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and big enough , shower room was also very clean. It took me around 15 mins to walk from the station to the hotel which was all on the same level. Great location only 200yds from river and 5-10min walk to bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

the AC in my room wasn't working properly. it was super hot! even the temperature in the hallway was cooler. I talked to the receptionist on the first night and he said it's expected given the type of AC they had wasn't a "strong AC" and even if they had given me a room change, the issue most likely would persist. I stayed 3 nights there, and every night was miserable.

The room was nice and quiet, located in the lower-end part of the city center, conveniently located near the train station and airport, and within walking distance of Cologne Cathedral. The breakfast was very plentiful, the room was clean, and the receptionist was very welcoming.

While it's a bit of a distance from the Cologne Exhibition Center, it's conveniently located right next to the subway station, making it very accessible. The facilities are great, and the surrounding area is very pleasant!

Great Location! Especially for night life. Pubs, restaurants, shops, supermarket, clubs everything very handy. Transportation too. The accommodation was offering everything needed.

I spent a couple of days at PhiLeRo. The hotel is nice and rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great and staff is extremely caring.

stayed in spacious comfort room for weekend. comes with complimentary minibar that means 2 beers and two bottles of water. hotel is nice and clean, staff speaks good english and lobby kiosk is open pretty much 24/7. will stay again if coming to same event in Köln.

I stay here every year during the Cologne Exhibition. The transportation is convenient and there is a Lidl supermarket next to it. The only drawback is that there is not much food nearby.

Spa was very nice, wasn’t prepared for the naked sauna’s though as wasn’t sure whether signage meant swimwear was optional or not allowed, probably an English thing, so avoided. Naked people wasn’t a problem to us but families with children should probably be made more aware.

Perfect location for a trip to Cologne. The hotel has everything you need, nice comfy rooms, a small fitness room if you want to use it. Breakfast is good and plenty of choice. The train station is directly across from the hotel also.

They should change all their bed mattresses as they are old and cause very bad back pain. We told them about this issue, but they did nothing to solve it.

The single room was indeed very small, haha, a bit like a student dormitory. However, the hygiene services were acceptable, and there was a complimentary bottle of sparkling water in the refrigerator. The location was also excellent, right on Hoch Street; you can walk from the train station along Hoch Street and browse all the various shops. In the Center of cologne, Advertised spa is apparently a collaboration with an external spa and fitness club, which was not clear upon placing reservation. Not to much to expect by the room offer but cleanliness and features in bathroom, as body lotion Handwaschbeckenand shower gel were recommendable and boutique retailer. Overall recommendable for a short stay.

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff in the breakfast hall were friendly, but the middle-aged gentleman at the reception does not match the quality of this hotel. The room view of the Rhine River and the bridge was an amazing experience. When you enter the room, you feel as if you are in the 1950s, and the hotel was very clean.

Nice hotel. Booked during a stopover for a short overnight stay. Olga, the receptionist, was very friendly and helpful. One point of attention: the shower areas could be improved. The use of a shower curtain feels outdated.

Modern, in excellent location. Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Parking is a challenge . I recommend you take one of their parking spaces in their garage. Its tricky to get out however a staff member would drive the car out for you. If you enjoy a nice walk or run around the Rhine River- you are right at the banks, and you will reach a nature preserve after 20 mins jogging.

Room was clean, although bedding had hole in fitted sheet, there was a kettle and coffee maker with pods, room was reasonable quiet from traffic noise as at back of hotel.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Allegro. The staff is truly lovely, welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help. We stayed here for 3 nights to visit the Christmas markets, the location is very good. We were walking distance from the cathedral and Christmas markets. Our room had a lovely view of the river. The nearest underground station is heumarkt. Colognes main train station Köln hbf was also only a 15 min walk along the river side. Trains from here to the airport cost €3.70. All the staff we met were friendly...

It was a bit hard to find but the rooms were clean and looked good. The staff was exceptionally friendly. At check-in they even opened the terrace just for me. Overslept my check-out by half an hour and they made no problem of it, charged me nothing extra. "You partied a bit to hard it happens, no problem" . Great people, will go there again next time.

Property situated very close to Subway. We were surprised that they have Fee $.50 for early check in. And for baggage storage $.5 as never experienced any such charges. Room sizes were very compromising two luggage bags and no space to walk. Lobby is nice as usually in same vicinity usually lobby is not that nice. Over all good experience.

This is a huge hotel in a great location, Penn Station across the street. The hotel has been remodeled but still has a lot of art deco features that appeal to travelers like myself. We had a very large room on a high floor that was very quiet and had a great view. The hotel is very busy, but hey it’s NYC. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a nice clean hotel. There was a guy on the front desk who was an absolute gem. He was funny, helpful and knowledgeable and helped us enormously - a credit to the hotel. The room we had was spacious and clean, we got 2 extra pillows as the ones supplied where very thin. On the downside the hotel is in a very scruffy, run down area. We stayed here for one night and were satisfied. The bathroom was quite new and modern, while the rest of the room could use an update. The only real downside was the parking situation, which was a nightmare. But then again, you have to expect that in the middle of a city.

A very clean hotel with an excellent staff. Breakfast was quite good and offered many different options. The only complaint I have is that the beds were extremely hard. This is a personal preference and the bed firmness might be suitable for others. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Nice hotel. Our room had a,few issue's like tap on bathroom sprayed mirror and shower wasn't enthusiastic in its power but we only used as a base. Good point is its near the train station which takes 10 minutes and cathedral. Breakfast was really nice. I never miss a stay at this hotel, which, in addition to being less than 2 km from the airport, is also a welcoming and relaxing place. We paid attention to the details of the furnishings, with a high-quality breakfast, and two attentive and very kind managers. The price couldn't be lower.

It's very remote, in a residential area, very quiet. Basically it is a low-cost operation. The facilities are very old. It was supposed to be relatively close to the airport, but road construction has made traveling less convenient. Fortunately it's cheap
