Perfect location for a trip to Cologne. The hotel has everything you need, nice comfy rooms, a small fitness room if you want to use it. Breakfast is good and plenty of choice. The train station is directly across from the hotel also.

The room was very small with a very tiny bathroom. On the other side, the staff were very polite and helpful. The location is excellent, meters away from the railway station and the cathedral.

Just location. Anything else is under average. Small rooms, smell in corridors, bath appliances need renovation, etc.

The most noticeable about this hotel is the friendliness of the reception personnel. Enter the hotel, be greeted with a friendly smile and "just wait a moment" as they were serving another guess trying hard and quit successful to speak in his mother tongue (French). Check in quickly, asked for a room not facing the train station and got one on the 10th floor. Today checking out another very friendly person. Entrance to the hotel is straight line walking a cross the Brenzlauer Platz, about 100 m.
Two small downsides: The mattress of the bed should be renewed and replaced with a harder one. And their was some disturbing noise (I am sensitive to noise, in particular at night) from either the compressor or larger blower of some air-conditioning (mine AC was switched off).
Summary: very convenient location, very friendly staff, at reasonable pricing.
Would go there again any time.

They should change all their bed mattresses as they are old and cause very bad back pain. We told them about this issue, but they did nothing to solve it.

Horrible Rooms. The hotel is old and it not only shows but it also smells. The pictures on the website are absolutely misleading. The carpets in the rooms are dusty and the bathroom are dark and smells moldy.
Front desk staff simply assumed I didn’t speak the language and started complaining and insulting other guests that were checking out.
Location is good, close to the Cathedral and right behind the train station, so it can be pretty loud at night. Lots of homelessness and drunk people hanging around the area as well.

Excellent location, opp Central station. Staff friendly and attentive. Room is clean. Enjoy my stay. Only comment is toilet is small and the sink needs to change. Will return in future.

Great location as it is only 1 min walk to the station. Love the service and the room as well. Good for short term stays. Would definitely come back here again!

My wife and I stayed here in early September 2023. We loved the location as it is very close to the cathedral and train station, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
My 3 star rating comes from the fact that our room was about the size of a prison cell. The hotel (for obvious reasons) does not show a photo of the room we had.
Would not stay here again.
