Hotel An der Philharmonie in Koln

We stayed here for one night and were satisfied. The bathroom was quite new and modern, while the rest of the room could use an update. The only real downside was the parking situation, which was a nightmare. But then again, you have to expect that in the middle of a city.

Very nice and clean hotel in the center of Cologne. Very close to main station and cathedral. Recommended.

Everyone was incredibly friendly. The breakfast buffet was huge with many different choices. The room was super cute and clean. The location was absolutely amazing. It’s very close to all the Christmas markets, the cathedral, and the train station. Would highly recommend.

The location, the receptionist's service, and the room furniture were all wonderful, but the cleanliness was disappointing. If they outsource cleaning, I think they should change it for the sake of the hotel's reputation. Everything else was great, so it was disappointing and a shame that the room was barely cleaned.
Specifically,
- There were socks on the closet shelf, likely left behind by a previous guest.
- There was hair and dust on the floor, with no signs of vacuuming.
- Dust accumulated on the windowsill.
- Food crumbs scattered on the desk.
- Used coffee cartridges in the coffee machine.
- A blanket that was clearly used was stuffed in the closet.

I went to the front desk to return the socks that were in my room and explained that my room wasn't cleaned properly. I was told I could either be moved to another room or wait for cleaning service the next morning. As we arrived after 8pm, we thought it was unavoidable that we wouldn't be able to receive cleaning service on the same day, so we moved to another room, but it was also not properly cleaned and was a size smaller, so we ended up staying in the original room we were shown and waiting for cleaning service the next morning.
As we were planning to stay for two nights, we left the room to go sightseeing hoping that it would be cleaned the next day, but all that was replaced was the towels for the bath mat.

To be honest, we were disappointed, considering we paid a by no means cheap price for the stay.

This hotel enjoys a prime location next to Cologne Cathedral. The rooms and breakfast room are elegantly decorated, and the breakfast is relaxing and plentiful, with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The staff are friendly and helpful. It left a positive impression.

So happy..it's beyond my expectations.
Booked a single room for attending convention center meetings. Receptionists are very helpful ..there's some fruits at the lobby and all amenities in the room so perfect.
My tiny room was so comfy with lots of space for women stuff. Management really understood our needs. The bathroom is very convenient, and water pressure for showers is easy to adjust .
I didn't take breakfast, so I can't tell you the taste. The dining room is spacious. I will post the reviews in my YouTube channel " the W by LJ " for real footage.. Seeing is believing.
I highly recommend this hotel as for double rooms also spacious and comfortable 👌
