Friendly reception. Clean rooms. Rather small balcony. The bus stop is in front of the hotel, easy to get to the city centre (bus 1 and 20) and back (bus 6). Supermarket over the street. If your flight gets cancelled and you're reading this review, the hotel isn't all that bad. The staff were nice and so was the food. Be sure to take a trip to the supermarket opposite as they had some amazing cheap food. Check the fruit aisle! Mot much else around worth exploring.

A very cozy, home-like place. The hotel grounds are beautifully green, filled with pleasantly fragrant roses, and feature two-story sections. The hotel entrance is not easy to find, but the island itself is not big, and it is very convenient to go anywhere in the city. You can find the entrance by asking. It is very cost-effective and the transportation is also very convenient.

We originally booked to stay at another hotel in the area and were redirected here last minute - so we were a little worried as we didn’t pick it ourselves! However the rooms are very modern and newly renovated. We found the double bed comfy too, which was a relief! The location is in front of the port, so you can walk there after getting off at the port. The airport will call you a taxi for 15 euros, and there is no coffee pot in the room.

The room is relatively simple but clean, including disposable slippers. The breakfast on the 6th floor is also relatively simple, but the view is excellent. You can see the Venetian Castle on the seaside of Heraklion. It is also very close to various attractions.

The Marin Hotel is located near the ruins of the ancient city, close to the city center, and has excellent accommodation. It is very convenient to eat and shop nearby. The owner is also warm and thoughtful, the breakfast is rich and there is an unparalleled sea view.
