Hotels with pool and beach in Crete

I had a really nice time here, rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom was really modern. I had a view over the pool and the nice blue sea. The people that worked there are really nice and helpful

I haven't stayed in a hotel but I've spent two very nice days on the beach. Sunbeds are for very reasonable price (normal 6€ per set, more comfy one 10€ per set)

This self catering hotel suited us perfectly as it had a great pool which was not busy and it was only a few steps down onto the sandy beach

The hotel delivered what made us choose it: location right in front of the beach, pool, nearby a broad offer of restaurants and other commodities. We were also positively impress by the service minded personnel

We visited for the day to use the sun loungers on the beach. Sun loungers were €12 for two plus parasol. Great quality loungers and luxurious thick and comfy mattresses. Quiet side of Malia beach and great spot

Didn’t stay at the apartments but used the cafe/bar and beach beds daily. Super comfy beds and great food with friendly staff. Thank you for the raki with honey which was delicious

A very beautiful space! The hotel is next to the beach and the pool is less than a minute walk from the room. The best place to relax!!

The hotel is impeccably maintained and exudes a sense of cleanliness and order. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the view from the sea-view rooms, which can only be described as magical

I feel this sign needs to be bigger/a lot clearer, and maybe even repeated further down the path. We got to reception, checked in and then were walked back to our building and room. 10 which has a sea view balcony

There is a small (A4 paper size) sign on a box that we walked past saying check-ins need to go to shotels sunset beach, with a small map, but I only noticed this as we were being walked back up the path

We were dropped off by a transfer bus outside a sign that says shotels almare beach

The area is quite windy, and the descent to the sea is somewhat challenging, though the coast itself is clean and sandy. Also, it’s wise to come prepared with mosquito repellent

As parents with picky kids, we really liked the lunch and dinner buffets, but we also visited the snack bars frequently. You could easily walk between your hotelroom, the different pools, the snack bars and the ocean

Just make sure you have a few warm outfits for day and evening. Entertainment was ok mainly bingo which u pay 5 euros a go. Karaoke and a live pirate performance. Again low season so no entertainment at main bar

Great facilities, slow pace, great weather and lots of fun for the kids: playgrounds, pools, different waterslides, soccer field, kids activities, free ice cream and slushes (as well as a gokartplace nextdoor)

Beach is lovely, sand and big rocks to walk on. Did a safari club jeep experience which was highlight of the holiday. Rooms a little noisy when people are coming back from bar but nothing too crazy

We (parents with 3 kids, age 9, 6 and 3) had a great autumn holiday during this last week of October

Beds and rooms are nice they have shampoo shower gel and moisturiser but no conditioner. Spa was lovely had a massage experience for 80 euros, well worth the money. Weather hasn’t been great but was expecting it

The quality of food at the Street food was better than in June 2025. 🍔 Drinks at White rabbit was as always 10/10, and at the King Scorpio seemingly better. 🍸 Maybe thanks to the end of season

The room (we've got upgrate to Family Superior Sea view, duplex) was clean and fresh. 🤌 Staff was friendly and helpful 🧡 Plus, there are a few new bars and a new ropftop pool

For a four star hotel I’d at least expect some bottles of water? The pool situation was a bit funny? We could never find a sun lounger around the multiple pools, which were also weirdly spaced around the hotel and like I have mentioned we couldn’t find them as we didn’t have a map, because people always left their towels on the sun loungers early in the morning, then left them there till they went...

It was only until about 4 days into our 1 week holiday that we realised there is another pool across the road to the left of the shop which was always quiet, I’m assuming because no one is aware that it’s there

Porto Greco Village was a good and clean hotel with many possibilities and friendly staff. Located on the side of Hersonissos and no noice in our room, maybe also because I think the rooms werre not fully booked

Generally the hotel is quite good for a beach vacation. It has its own private beach, there some rocks to entry the water, but not everywhere, and water is very clean

Breakfast was decent, while dinner offered a wider selection and was quite tasty. The beach itself was not very convenient,there were many corals, which made entering the water uncomfortable

Due to the wind, we lost several days and had to use the pool instead, which was very crowded during that time. The hotel had its own parking

Beautiful hotel, staff were friendly and professional. Food was great, location nice and quiet, easily accessible. We hired a car but not essential. Rooms were clean. Overall wonderful stay!!

However, the one located at its area was quite small, and the other one a bit further away was not very convenient

We are holidaying in this glorious part of Crete in this glorious hotel. The location right on the beach is superb. Staff are so helpful and genuinely friendly. Lunch at pool bars very good too

The hotel is great! The food is good, everything is very clean, and the staff are friendly. The spa area is also highly recommended. I had a back and neck massage with Chrysa and it was fantastic

is absolutely irresponsible and dangerous, especially as there is always kids in the front row. Musicians would have been really good but because it was so loud, it wasnt really enjoyable

I had 2 massages at Aegeo spas. Kallia gives very good massages in a beautiful atmosphere.

In cooler season patio heaters in restaurant would be good as sometimes indoor area full and can be chilly in the early morning or evening sittings

Excellent service and care with a delighfully relaxing experience. Breakfast and the evening meal buffet options were the perfect bookends to each day.

The fact that there were a lot of feedback loops caused by the loudness and the general setup of the monitors didnt make it better

Only negatives; most of the pool tables in the games area are missing a full set of balls

Food was ok and plenty of choice. Ordering drinks from the main bar in the evening was a task and we could be waiting up to 40 mins as only 2-3 staff making drinks

I was pleasantly surprised!! We all had a great time and will be back, We were a family of four, young children, and the room was cozy! I imagine with older children it would be cramped

Beautifully landscaped resort with excellent food options and friendly, attentive staff. Pleasant distance from the airport for transfers. Great for kids (they loved the water slide)

Food selection was good and tasty with different themed nights. Breakfast got a bit boring by day 6, lots of choice just the same every day

Through my travel agency business I politely asked for upgraded rooms and we were not disappointed. We were given 3 rooms at the front of the pool, which were without a doubt the best rooms in the hotel

I would like to especially note from the best side for the fast and well-coordinated work of the waiters lia and Totoris working in the restaurant and buffet, as well as Marina and Lena from the administration

We’ve just returned from an incredible stay at Stella Village and I honestly couldn’t fault this hotel from start to finish

Of what we saw of the entertainment team was very lack lustre. I get we were staying right towards the end of the season. Obviously the pools are cold, but once you’re in, it’s fine to swim in

Personally I think the sun beds being right next to the pool is a little silly, as you easily get splashed by others in the pool. Never had an issue getting a sunbed, even when the school holidays started

The hotel itself was spotless throughout, and every member of staff we encountered was beyond helpful and genuinely friendly. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the service really stood out

There are several pool areas and a beach side sunbathing Terrace with a nice but expensive pool bar. On balance, this being the end of the season, the whole place felt very tired and cleaning standards were not good

Clean room and nice quiet room, all staff excellent and inviting, sea was warm, pools could have been warmer. The views from the property were very calming.

This is a lovely hotel built in the style of a Greek village going down a hill to the sea. Our room was modern with a lovely sea view

Breakfast is varied and plentiful, but very busy and there is seating inside and outside, but inside sadly reminded us of school dinners in the canteen! Quality of food was generally good but the quality of the coffee was truly dreadful so don’t bother and get one in town instead! This is a very large complex which is set very close to the sea and within a 30 minute walk of Elounda town & Square. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept and the staff are friendly

The buffet breakfast and evening buffet meal in the main restaurant were very good as were the other restaurants. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to make out stay enjoyable

Great place for families with children. If you have kids - take the seaview Suite away from the sandy beach. It's got its own stone pier, there are no children.

The location and the hotel setting is gorgeous. Loved it! We were with our child and my in-laws. We also could swim every day in the sea in the end of October - beginning November

I also want specifically to mention and thank the personnel. Despite we were in the end of the season, they were still so enthusiastic, so helpful, so polite and so simply nice after all these months of hard work

The guys at the receptions were stars! :) The ladies in the Kids Club, the staff at the reception, the people in the restaurants, the cleaning ladies, the Golf Car drivers (I hope I remembered them all) - everyone were so nice and helpful! We want to come back! THANK YOU!

Candia Park Village is one of those rare places that manages to combine authenticity, comfort, and natural beauty in perfect harmony. After two wonderful visits, we already know it won’t be our last

Everything was top! Can't think of anything that was wrong, honestly. We were there also during the Halloween, and our child had been upset to miss it in his hometown

We stayed in a suite with sea view, which was beautiful and spacious, and included a beach cabana, which is convenient when travelling with an infant to avoid sun exposure while playing at the beach

And finally, all of the staff (receptionists, waitresses, cleaners…) were so kind, attentive, and accommodating, and they made us feel welcome and safe

Amazing stay, with my family of 4. Beautiful and quaint hotel, as close to the beach as you can get. We had a gorgeous suite with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. The breakfast was a lovely spread

Our room had everything we needed and was lovely and clean, it came with a fabulous view from a spacious balcony. Food was plentiful and good, drinks of good quality also

Lastly, the hospitality we received from the staff was outstanding. They were friendly, helpful, and always available to assist us with a smile. Their warmth really added to our overall experience

Hotel room was lovely, the shower was gross. Love holidays is where we booked and the transfer bus left us off at the side of the road, we had to call the hotel to come get us

The pools are very nice although some of the sunbeds need an upgrade I’ve not had an issue to find one. The little cove beach is beautiful and really handy right there

Beautiful little hikes with an amazing beach one direction, and beach village the other, both only 7mins away. Staff was great, you can see everyone including pool maintenance and cleaners are happy with their jobs

This hotel is for those who appreciate being at one with nature, incredible views, the sound of the sea, and are willing to explore the numerous bays nearby. We found everything we wanted here and definitely recommend it

Shallow beaches in beautiful bays and other interesting places to visit are a 10-15-minute drive away

The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, offering a selection of traditional Greek dishes, as well as fish and several meat options daily, delicious desserts, a selection of salads, and several types of cheese

The best hotel in Rethymnon. Very spacious and nice rooms, clean and tidy. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. Third time we are staying here. The private beach is also great.

Our family holiday at Elounda Peninsula Luxury Resort was honestly a dream from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, my husband, our two girls, and I felt completely looked after

Wonderful stay at Kassavetis Center! We had a great experience during our stay at Kassavetis Center. The location is perfect — close to everything you need, from the beach to shops and restaurants

The manager was very understanding of our situation and we came to a mutual arrangement which lifted a lot of stress from us. It's very central to everything the bar and pools are very good

Location is superb, 4 or 5 truly wonderful restaurants on your doorstep in a quiet, beautiful little area, and you’re 5 mins stroll to the beach

There are only about 20 sunbeds round the small pool but those that choose to spend their holidays laying there are easily able to find a bed

The main road is awash with restaurants, tavernas and bars overlooking the sea. Regular buses, 5 mins away, go into Chania

Breakfast was great, cooked and cold offerings, sufficient for our needs. Pool area is small but very clean and relaxing

This small, well designed hotel is ideally located and suited us down to the ground. The staff are so friendly and hard working and nothing is too much trouble for them

The previous review that says you have to make your own bed is absolutely not true. Beds are made and towels changed every day apart from Sunday

We dined in the Meat at the Point restaurant, and enjoyed the quinnoa rocket salad, steak, and mushroom risotto. We truly enjoyed the private pool, ocean view, and room service options

I had to write a review for this amazing hotel! I had 5 days here with my grown up daughter. Everything was amazing! If you can, book the pool rooms…what a treat! The gym was well kitted out and not too busy

Spent two glorious weeks here in October 2025. The hotel is spread across the hillside with inter-connecting walkways. There’s golf buggies that can be summoned via the phone to pick you up and take you to other areas

The staff are all super friendly, and do all they can to make your stay memorable. We stayed half board in a room with a private pool and terrace

The overall cleanliness throughout the property was also great. Rooms, public areas, and even the pool spaces were spotless and clearly well cared for (the beach could do with a little maintenance)
