Porto Platanias Beach Luxury Selection - Adults Only in Platanias

Room was tiny - the photographs online show there is enough room for a sofa and large bed and some floor space - The room we were allocated was so small my partner had to climb over the bed to get to the other side - no room to walk around . It was really ridiculous so claustrophobic not even a window just one single glass panel door - we complained and got moved two 1/2 days later after countless attempts with reception and living out of the suitcase - waiting on reception calling us …. Terrible start to our holiday. Then after being offered a room over looking the car park- (that we refused ) as we had booked a pool / garden view room . We were very much Treated like they were doing us a favour !! Also asked for a late check out as we had a 8 pm coach pick up and they could only offer us use of the toilets to change in either there or at sister hotel down the road after the standard 11 am check out . I’m disabled and they said that Jet 2 hadn’t told them about the additional needs ! Jet 2 did . The Jet 2 rep was a nice lady but hopeless in assisting us with our complaint total waste of our time with her . On the website and all online photos it shows the pool has a handrail around the shallow area to allow me to walk into the pool unaided - IT HAD BEEN REMOVED PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL so it meant I was left really struggling to get in and out the pool . Nothing about this hotel says 5 star - we would rate a 4 star at best - not impressed at all . The cleaning staff were rude and dismissive- but the rooms were modern and briskly cleaned each day , not throughly. Pluses - Breakfast was tasty really varied and plentiful.
