One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, Malia is perfect for a girls holiday and Socrates hotel is surrounded by the best restaurants and bars and only a ten minute walk from the strip, the staff (Despina and Eleni) were amazing!!! We loved every second of our stay and want to come back!

Our stay at Pasiphae Hotel was wonderful! The staff were all incredibly polite and professional. The location isn't pleasant. You may be staying in a quiet residential area about 1km outside of town, but it's far from quiet. The reason for this: The hotel is located in the airport's takeoff and landing lane. The planes may be turning around, but they're still only a few hundred meters above the ground. Earplugs are therefore highly recommended! Our room was also a bit annoying. It was very cramped...

It was a good hotel for a girls holiday as it was cheap and basic, however the staff were very strict with noise. We got told off for talking in our hotel room at 6pm because it was ‘nap time’. The staff are incredible! Helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable. Nice small hotel with a clean comfortable rooms, a pool and restaurant both with sea view. It is located on the coast and has a nice sandy beach. Sunbeds by the pool were comfortable. It was quiet and not too crowded at the end of the high season, a perfect time to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves. The breakfasts were quite good, but some of the dinner dishes were not very tasty.

This is my friends and mine second year staying here, and it’s great. The staff are lovely and so welcoming and are always approachable and talkative. We ate here most nights and for the price of the food it’s good, with options of Greek cuisine and more basic meals for those who aren’t adventurous. Booked on line with ease and dropped in on way back to airport. Staff were lovely and super helpfull. Alison a Scottish lass looked after us during beach stay while at the hotel and is a great member of staff. Restaurant on site was great local food and again service and staff were exceptional

Stayed there for a week and was very happy with it. The staff was extremly nice and helped with everything we needed. The room was clean and the balcony was nice aswell. We didn’t use the pool but it looked good. To the beach it took us 2 minutes by foot and everything else you need is also close by. When ever this place was advertised I gave it a miss as I thought it was on the strip and not for me. Talking to some friends, no it's in the old and it's OK. We found the Happy Days to be in an ideal spot for the old village, and not far from the main ***** .The staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were cleaned regularly, and bedding and towels were changed at least 4 times a week .We used the bus to get around the island,which was cheap and easy. We would definitely come back to the Happy Days Apartments again .

Four of us spent a week here in mid May 2025. It is so lovely and quiet. Aris, Eleni & Dimitri are good hosts and very welcoming. It's a short walk to the Old Town restaurants, near the shops and bars, but quiet and relaxing. The views to the mountains are wonderful. If you have transport, try out the Kritsa Gorge, the fish restaurants at Milatos and the pretty beach at Potamos. Nice bar and food...

A very nice studio apartment. Recently renovated to a high standard. A large triple bed room, a very good air con unit and a basic kitchen area good enough for your basic self catering requirements. The room was light and airy. The proprietors were nice and helpful especially the old chap and the younger son. We didnt use the facilities as we prefer the beach, but the pool looked good.

Everything was excellent, I started stressing Maria a year before the wedding to make sure my guests wouldn't sleep on the beach. It was a nice stay. The outdoor area with the pool is very nice. Good location and you can quickly walk to the beach and the party street. Staff is friendly. Rooms are OK but cleanliness could be a bit better. What is really annoying is that you have to pay an extra €8 per day for the air conditioning, which is not mentioned anywhere beforehand. I have never experienced anything like that anywhere...

The hotel delivered what made us choose it: location right in front of the beach, pool, nearby a broad offer of restaurants and other commodities. We were also positively impress by the service minded personnel. However, the cleaning was poor. The floor was often full of sand and dust were never cleaned from the surfaces.

I haven't stayed in a hotel but I've spent two very nice days on the beach. Sunbeds are for very reasonable price (normal 6€ per set, more comfy one 10€ per set). There is a shower on a beach and very clean restroom just few steps from the beach. Staff are also very friendly here.

This self catering hotel suited us perfectly as it had a great pool which was not busy and it was only a few steps down onto the sandy beach. Le Palme is a real gem in Malia. Recently remodeled room was spacious, clean, and overlooking green space. Bed was comfortable with several pillows. As to location it is tucked away from the street, making it easy to work in quiet zone. Fast Wifi was big plus. Friendly and welcoming hosts provided great restaurant recommendations and nearby attraction advice. Great value lodging, highly recommended
