Pelagia Maria in Malia

This hotel is definitely not for those looking to rest: it’s very noisy, the street is busy, and the pool is across the street behind a bar, so we couldn’t really use it. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, but prices are high. You’ll also encounter street touts. Positives: the reception staff is extremely friendly. Minor downside: the fridge was making a terrible noise, so we had to switch it off.

We really liked the hotel. It was very clean, and daily cleaning was provided. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment, which made it very convenient for preparing breakfast. The balcony was a nice place to hang out and have fun, but in the summer, due to the music noise, we don't think the first room will be very quiet. The hotel is very close to everything—there are pharmacies, markets, and anything you might need nearby. There is an extra charge for air conditioning, but this was already stated—we just didn’t notice it. The staff was very helpful and assisted us with a late check-in.

Le Palme is a real gem in Malia. Recently remodeled room was spacious, clean, and overlooking green space. Bed was comfortable with several pillows. As to location it is tucked away from the street, making it easy to work in quiet zone. Fast Wifi was big plus. Friendly and welcoming hosts provided great restaurant recommendations and nearby attraction advice. Great value lodging, highly recommended.

What a fantastic little place, stayed the last week of April just as things are starting to open . Location is perfect and the hotel is absolutely spot on. Super clean and efficient, clean towels every couple of days, rooms very well equipped with everything you could need . Bed and pillows were really comfortable. Katerina (owner) and her family are just the loveliest people and nothing was ever too much trouble, you’d struggle to find a more welcoming hotel with such nice happy people . We ate in some of the places recommended by Katerina and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be back to visit very soon and will see you in August when we pop over . Very good experience. My stay was more than great. Caterina and Manos (reception) are extremely helpful and kind. The room was clean, and the housekeeping was great. I felt everyone was commited to provide me an excellent stay. The location is great! a few blocks from the main street, a few blocks from a big supermarket, and a few blocks of the beach. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Highly recommendable! And great value for money.
PS: and I stayed like 20 days, not just one or two nights :-)
