Clean, quiet and comfortable room, nice big pool, on a relatively quiet stretch of Faliraki beach, within walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops, nice pool bar with live music some evenings

The beach sunbeds are free with all inclusive, but they are not clean and hotel towels are very short. I really liked the food on breakfast and free cocktails from the bar on beach

This hotel truly deserves five stars! The food is excellent and the breakfast is absolutely superb. The staff are incredibly friendly, and I want to give special recognition to the receptionist I met, named Manuzus

This is without doubt one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had, and I will definitely come back with my family next time because this was a business trip oh and also a good thing you don’t have to worry about not getting a chair infront of the pool because they have thought of everything 🤩❤️

Honestly, if it hadn’t been for him, I don’t know which hotel I would have ended up at. He is the kind of employee who really deserves a raise! The rooms are spacious, modern, fresh and give a “mini spa” feeling

He went above and beyond, solving a big problem for me in the middle of the night when I had an unpleasant experience at another hotel. Thanks to him, I had a beautiful room here instead

Vasilis and his team ensured everything ran smoothly, and we had some really memorable experiences with Vicky at The Garden (including a brilliant wine tasting), Nickolas at Fresco, Alex at Ouzo, and Leon and Lyubov at Flavours – we were so well looked after throughout

The quality of the service was exemplary and a deserved special mention to Athina Kilina who made it a point to seek us out each day for both feedback and confirmation of satisfactory delivery of the Ikos product given that it was early in the season

It’s people like these who make Ikos Olivia so special. You can genuinely feel that the team, especially those in leadership, care deeply about every guest experience and want everyone to leave happy

It honestly makes all the difference, and it’s why we keep coming back year after year. Every single member of the team goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and looked after

It was lovely to see Elena back at Olivia this year, and the team around the Deluxe pool were fantastic – Thanos, Petros, Antonia, Aggelos, and the lovely lifeguard

The bar staff and restaurant were lovely. I wasn’t feeling great before I arrived. And had a cough and was at the bar and the lovely bar tender gave me a throat sweets out of her handbag which was really kind

Things couldn’t have been more different at the Leonardo!! The staff at the couldn’t have been better! From the moment we called them to request booking a room they were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us

The masseuse was very professional made me feel comfortable and safe. And just yet another really kind member of staff. In all my years travelling I can’t remember having a better stay at a hotel

Your not super disconnected like you would be in a really big hotel the service is so much better here. My husband and I had a massage each at the spa and it was really great

We moved to the Leonardo Kolymbia after staying in another hotel in the next resort which was not a very nice hotel at all and we didn’t want to continue our holiday there

When we came back to check in they upgraded our room to an absolutely beautiful room with our own pool! We felt so lucky and greatful to the staff that did this for us

We stayed for one week and we felt very good! All the staff was very polite and always smiling and ready to help. The rooms are very clean, the pool was nice even in october and the food was delicious and diverse.

Only a small amount of rooms so always space by the bar and pool. No sunbed races in the morning! Foods of a good variance in the restaurant each night with your stable chips option if nothing takes your fancy

The ruby royal area gets sun later in the day so if thats what you are after, get one of those rooms. All staff very welcoming and pleasant

The Cretan old town is only a 10 minute walk south, and the beach a 10 minute walk north

Crispy around the edges then placed on a hot plate. Similar with varying foods every time. This station should be cooking as requested. It takes 2 minutes to cook an egg. I'd much prefer to have it cooked for me

I've been all over the world,so different cuisines aren't an issue. But the standard of food is very poor. The cooking station was manned by a really nice guy. But cooking 20 fried eggs over done

Nice premium bungalows with plenty of space for 3 persons. Nice beach with free sunbeds and good service if you want to order drinks and snacks. All the staff were friendly and helpful

The advantage of the hotel is that the accommodation is not in one central building but in many small houses located in a garden full of trees. Everyone has privacy and a pleasant environment on their terraces

Very service-minded, and whenever we asked for something, we received a quick response. What we found slightly negative was the opportunities for working out

The outdoor gym was very small, there wasn’t much equipment, and some of the few machines were worn out

It did have an extra pool for 3 water slides. My 12 year old enjoyed these • The bar had cold beer and a few cocktails included in the All Inclusive offering. • The buffet restaurant was what you’d expect

I’ll go through the Good, Meh and Bad bits: GOOD: • It had a pool, a bar and a restaurant • It was warm • It was walking distance to a couple of bars, a well stocked shop and an amazing restaurant (Rosemary - so good we went twice in two nights and the food was amazing!) MEH: • The pool was fine

These were next to each other and NOT interconnecting (I don’t believe they have that option here). These difference in rooms was quite stark. My wife and 9 year old had room 314

Room 313, which I shared with my 16 and 12 year olds had air con they coughed a slight bit of middling to cool air, a shower that wouldn’t drain very well, a smaller bathroom (despite there being 3 of us in there and staff knowing this and giving the 3 people this room - yes we could have changed around but not the point, plus I don’t think my wife would have swapped

However, people may have been put off by the fact the spa was manned by a well built guy who I can only describe as a Temu version of a Bond Villain! • Staff were generally nice and friendly

Arrived to friendly staff at reception,room was clean and tidy and cleaned regularly throughout our stay Juan was brilliant with the kids and always a happy face, the bar staff was also excellent especially spiros who would always stop to speak as would shop staff and the mealtime staff worked very hard

Swimming pool is great and always clean , the sea front view is amazing. Juan the entertainer is good at activitys he does he is very interactive with the quest and overall is very chatty and a good man

Juan he is really entertaining and is really good at kids club. His entertainment is fun and exiting His volleyball matches at fun to pass time Overall he is a really nice kind and funny man

Hotel was good for the price. Room was okay just a lot of ant in the balcony. Animation was good with Juanito. And vagelis in the bar was friendly we will come back

Was a lovely place with all you need around. the beach in the hotel is just really cool. Food is good just need to change sometimes because its always the same

The reception is very good informed about the sight seeings and more activities. Actually the tips they proposed were priceless. to many unknown beautiful places in close distance that we will return to visit

We stumbled across this amazing place sort of by accident, having pre-booked other accommodation in the area but didn’t like it when we got there. So we had to find a suitable alternative very quickly

Also the hotel location and it’s restaurant right away to the beach, with it’s support at the beach with various snacks and beverages

I ‘ve stayedin Faedra Beach hotel this year in august. I liked the hotel staff, always helpful, friendly and welcome. I felt I was the local amongs them. The room was clean, and being cleaned every morning

The rooms are clean, beach over the road, the restaurant is located on the beach. Rich breakfast mainly with local products (cheese, olives, vegetables, fruits, etc)

This place is magical! It’s in such a special place and has an wonderful energy. Early November is a beautiful time to go - very peaceful beach, exquisite clear water, calm, and such a warm welcome

Your hotel is a great place for vacation. The service is excellent. The beach is clean and well-maintained. Drinks are prepared quickly and deliciously.

Nice five star hotel with direct beach access. The beach is sandy (in some places a small pebbly strip when entering the water). The wifi in the hotel works fine

Our room was spacious, clean and the "don't disturb button" (instead of a sign to put on the door) was comfortable

The food, greek and international, was great at all occasions (don't miss out the traditional greek dinner you can have at the beach bar). Only, during dinner the restaurant could be a bit crowded, loud

Caught the public bus (3 min walk from hotel) to Heraklion. Had to speak with the general manager before I left, expressing my gratitude to the team. Only one issue, I wish I found this place sooner! See you in 2026

Bus stop 29 is a a 5 min walk from the hotel and takes you to Héraklion for only 4 Euro per person! Ignore the review that says no direct access to the beach from the hotel (unless you require step free access)

Georgia at the hotel bar, made me feel equally welcome The room was perfect! Overlooking the sea. Just wonderful Facilities, perfect! Used the gym, and spa. Both pools great with superb views

This was my first solo holiday. A single 50 something female, wanting a hotel that was big enough for me to blend, yet small enough for staff to care! I was anxious when I first arrived

Food was good and the Greek night was great entertainment with excellent traditional food. All inclusive drinks are only local but we knew this on booking. Great pools and beautiful settings

Third visit back to the Gaia Palace. Staff were absolutely amazing and very friendly throughout our visit. We stayed in a superior double room which was excellent

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Mr. The food was delicious and varied, with four different themed evenings

Not much locally around if you like a walk round a resort but a bus or short taxi ride into either Mastichari or Marmari is easy enough

The beautiful sandy beach with bar and toilets is a short walk with free sun beds for Gaia Palace guests

Overall good value and hopefully we will be returning next year

With so few residents, there were plenty of free sun beds around the pool and on the beach; whilst the music was non-stop, the volume was appropriate, unobtrusive and from our era - the ‘60s and early ‘70s!! The town is a twenty minutes stroll away along the beach front with a wide range of shops and restaurants

There were no queues at meal times, no dishes ran short, and most were warm, if not always hot. Served buffet-style, the menu was pretty stable but we managed a different combination on six occasions

Until the dinner time on the second day, a male waiter in the restaurant came to ask us to sit outside with the dog. If the dog cannot be in the restaurant, please write it in the hotel introduction

We did not book this hotel but, like a number of English holidaymakers, were transferred from others we presumed were closed as the season staggered to an end

We deliberately chose a hotel that allows pets, so it should be pet-friendly. After this incident, we will not choose your hotel again. Last year, we also stayed for 3 nights and did not let us go out to eat

The hotel staff is helpful and friendly besides one barman serving drinks during the evenings at the pool bar (I'll be honest

Certainly not a 5* hotel, the bar at the hotel was round the pool, so sat on plastic chairs at night, staff working there not very friendly, the beach bar was fabulous and Mike is a lovely chap who certainly knows how to run a bar and make good drinks

Friendly staff, rooms very were clean, service very good. On departure day they allowed us to keep the room with no extra charge. They have bar at the beach which you can use in your inclusive, welcoming

It was very quiet when we went, so no waiting for food/ drinks at any point. Know Bar by the beach was great. Location is good; short drive from airport - 25 mins, just a one minute walk down to the beach

Beach was good - a short sand bit, but then it was like a huge stone slab - great for snorkelling. Plenty of shops/ restaurants within a short walk

The drinks were good, with a wide range of cocktails as well as the usual drinks. Food was good - not a wide range, but tasty

The location was very nice, just a few steps away from the sea, where there is a nice beach. There was also a pub at the beach to get drinks and snacks: very relaxing. The Hotel was very well cared for, and very clean

The children's facilities are excellent,with plenty of fun and safe areas to play around. Our son was playing from day to night. We absolutely loved seeing him engaging and having so much fun

Hiii! This May i went to the Cactus Beach Hotel in Stalis, Greece with two of my best friends

We had the best time there!! The resort is beautiful, the food was so nice and all the people were so nice and helpfull! The Pink Wave animation team was the best!! We had the best time with them and we did a lot of fun activities, Thank you very much to Nas, Lynn, Samuele, Gabriel, Lina and Alessia! We will definitely be back! The Spa, actually belonging to the Cactus Royal hotel but also on our terrain, was excellent, I had a massage from Anja, she was great! What really was lovely was that the people from Cactus beach knew so many languages

A lot to chose from, nice environment, and people helping you to your table, sometimes with time to spare for a little joke. The reception was not consistent. Some were more friendly and helpful than others

There is no water in the hotel available to guests after bar is closed, even in the room, no bottle of water at all. Hotel has very nice tidy beach but getting there is a different story

We got to the hotel at 4 am - we didn't get a room until 10 which is ok, we understand it but we did not get anything to drink until a breakfast at 8. Coffee or tea would be great but even a water would be good

Basically every day you will get some sort of casserole, once it was casserole with minced fishes with bones and you could feel them while eating

on the road with no sidewalk looking at trashes left on the side and you are afraid for you live when cars and busses are crossing you

Next day we get casserole with carbonara spaghetti inside from the previous day, and the story goes on

Unfortunately hotel is not thinking about those kind of details. Last thing is wifi, it is free, you will connect from everywhere but connection is so slow that it is basically impossible to display a web page

Very nice location and nature! The city is nearby. The staff at the hotel is friendly and will help with any request. The cuisine is very tasty, the choice is sufficient. The menu changes. Great!

well those should be changed for couple/ double rooms. -while the bed was soft i didn't sleep well. (neither my wife) -some toilet seats/cover wouldn't stand

I had a shoulder impingement and I am now able to move my shoulder and arm so much better! My daughter had a relaxing massage by Ifigeneia and she found it amazing and extremely relaxing. We would highly recommend both!!

We stayed at this hotel for a week and we really enjoyed it despite a few issues. The room was not best part of the stay as it had many issues. We stayed in a swim up room in the new building and the room was very modern

Great hotel! The view is absolutely breathtaking, the personnel is very kind from the receptionist to the cleaning staff, bartenders everybody! I see a lot of complaints that is on a hill, well yes but the view is absolutely amazing and the walk to the beach is short and not so challenging

Our stay at Hersonissos Village & Bungalow was truly wonderful. The food was excellent and plentiful – from a rich breakfast to delicious lunch and dinner

The all-inclusive package is fantastic, as you can enjoy food and drinks from morning until late at night without any worries

Also Dimitri at the bar was great fun and the man in charge of the restaurant with the tie and glasses was very nice and helpful

The rooms could benefit from a few small updates, such as replacing the older flooring and refreshing the bottom of the pool where the paint has faded, but this didn’t affect our stay Overall, everything was perfect, and we would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Crete

The locations is close to everything the only issue is the walk to and from town as there’s very little path and it’s quite a busy road, the hill is also quite steep to walk up but you wouldn’t get the beautiful views from the hotel if it wasn’t

Beds are comfortable, though slightly firm (typical for Europe). The shower is excellent, though it can soak the bath mat a bit. The hairdryer—fixed in the drawer—is actually quite decent for a hotel

A wonderful hotel! It’s very stylish & the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We also had a very relaxing massage with Antonis. We really enjoyed everything.

Despite losing a couple of days to very poor weather, we had a wonderful stay. This is a small resort—just two restaurants and two bars—which initially made us a little unsure, as it’s the smallest we’ve ever stayed in

When the weather kept everyone indoors, the hotel handled it brilliantly. The lobby comfortably accommodated guests, and the staff were fantastic—constantly bringing drinks and clearing tables efficiently
