We had an excellent family stay at Atlantica Mikri Poli Crete in October. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and the views are stunning. The staff were fantastic – so friendly and attentive to all our needs. The food was delicious, and the facilities, especially the pools and kids' activities, were top-notch. We are almost at the end of our 2 week stay here and have loved every minute. The hotel is beautiful with great pools and it's own beach. We were a family group of 6 visiting in September. We give this 5 stars. The food options were varied (but be warned you have to book in advance) and very good. Staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had sea views in the hotel and a top tip would be to ask for them, we felt they were better than the bungalows. Came here for my birthday and it was one to remember. Stayed at Akrathos Beach Hotel for a week through TUI, family of four (2 teenagers + parents). We had two standard rooms — comfortable overall. The showers had the tray on the floor so water tended to spread out, but with underfloor heating it dried quickly. I’d give the rooms 4★, but everything else was 5★. We just returned from a 3 day stay at this property. The food was excellent, staff very friendly, pool and beach area very clean. We had a family room with 2 full-size bathrooms, very comfortable. Really nice hotel which was let down by management deciding to start shutting down the resort for the end of season half way through our stay. Two of the three non-buffet restraints had closed 3 days before our departure . Spin and other classes finished 4 days before our departure.

Next time I go, I think I'll plan to stay a little longer. It was so comfortable and nice that I almost regretted my short stay. The pool was much longer and larger than it appears in the photos, and I was impressed by the design, which allowed everyone in the room to enjoy the pool close to home.

The hotel is really great, with beautiful sea views and a super large swimming pool. The children had a lot of fun. We had an average stay at this hotel. We had to carry our suitcases up flights of stairs to our room as we had one of the rooms by the small pool. We were shocked by how run down the rooms were and cracks in the balcony floor so could easily cut your feet. The hotel is gorgeous. Quiet and very well maintained. The food was excellent in variety and cooked with passion. Had a pool room which was out of this world.

We had the most amazing time. The hotel complex, pools, beach, Restaurants, food, drinks were perfect. We had an all inclusive break and stayed for 7 nights and felt looked after so well. Staff really nice and helpful. Everything spotless. We will definitely be back.

Most beatifull hotel ive ever seen. The food buffets and dinner restaurants was amazing especially "Ithaka" best food ive ever tasted. Buffets were really well organised and there was not any chaos even there was lots of peolpe at the same time. Hotels own app was amazing it was so easy to order drinks from beach or from pool. Wonderful staff who are so quick and efficient thanks to their mix of students studying Travel or Hotel Tourism type studies. Really was one of our best 5 star holidays and no regrets.

The staff were very lovely and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. The only negative was the Spar changing room and showers as drains blocked and shower water comes into changing area floor.
