The hotel is nice and pleasant, but it's extremely run down. It definitely needs renovation and updating.

My family and I arrived at the hotel 22/12/2025 late evening. We had also our small dog with us. Everything was perfect! The service at the reception, the room, all the hotel personnel. Lovely hotel, staff and service were incredible. Great amenities and amazing to be right on beach. Bus stop right outside made it very easy to get to other spots on the island without a car. Buffet dinner quite expensive at €40 a head if not half board but good variety of options and food nice.

This is our second visit to The Elysium, and we weren't disappointed again! We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days at ER&S. We were B&B, breakfast choices were superb and we purposely requested to be served in Mariela's section; a polite, welcoming, friedly young woman who the hotel would do well to promote to 'Customer Service Training Manager!' This is one of those grand old five-star hotels. It is very well located. The service is truly five star. The bathroom room was spacious while the room was small but very ornate. I had a wonderful time at the hotel! I loved the spa, the pool and had the best night sleeps! It is a shame that the main restaurant does not serve a real espresso from ground coffee beans as it would have been nice to enjoy a good cup of coffee with the wonderful breakfast, but despite this, I will happily return to the hotel

We travel from marmaris to Rhodes for day trip on ferry when we got in to port you will guys offering taxi service to take you round on some of the best spot and show you historical places but that's scam you can walk from bay to town centre in ten minutes walk around some nice places for food and drinks you can look around yourself rather pay 70 euro one of them ask 95 euro avoid these people

Amazing family friendly hotel in a beautiful area. Great beach, pools, amazing food, nice coctails, and very friendly staff members. We stayed in a family suite with private pool and it was worth it. We definetely want to come back one day. The only thing that needs improvement is the lift leading to suites which did not work properly throughout our stay.

This is an established, old-money hotel in Greece that offers great value for money. During peak season, from May to October, it's nearly impossible to book a room and prices are incredibly high. However, in the off-season, the prices are much more affordable and the experience is even better, though you won't be able to enjoy water activities.

What a fabulous October half term get away. Can’t fault the facilities and a tentative staff. We chose to stay bed and breakfast as wanted to also enjoy the local restaurants which are excellent. We had a short stay of 5 nights here and had the most wonderful relaxing time. The hotel is so beautifully situated right on the sea and the views are stunning. Every meal we had was excellent and served by friendly and helpful staff.
