Agoulos Beach Hotel in Argasi

When we booked it in the spring, it was rated 9.8, but when we traveled at september it was only 6.7. The pictures must have been taken a long time ago. We didn't get the room we booked, they said it was better, but it wasn't nice either. The mattress was moldy, the bathroom had limescale, the window was broken. The bathroom cleaning was incomplete. When it rained, the water stood in the gutters. We chose this hotel because it had breakfast, but it was below par. The same breakfast for a week. There was no heating, so everything was cold. 1 type of meat the whole week, some bad quality ham. We always had to ask for cutlery because there wasn't any.

Left hotel after 1 night because of not working air conditioning, army of mosquitos and small beds. Zero response from owners regarding any refund for nights we did not stay there, while they promised to get in touch about this. Don't go here!

We had a whole month at Agoulos Beach. We moved rooms, incredibly basic. If you want to cook bring utensils you need. No plugs in sink. Shower curtain not long enough. Barking dogs from neighborhood drove me crazy!!! Nice pool, we got a hello from lady that runs pool bar on day 17. We often felt we gatecrashed their party around pool. Sadly lacking in health and safety. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Booked Agoulos because it said WiFi throughout. That was a bit of a joke!. Tired place that needs money spending on it especially in kitchen areas. Tables around pool rarely cleared. Longish walk with no lighting and uneven pavements to Restaurants. Will not go back.

Myself and my partner had booked to stay here and within an hour of being there we left and found another place to stay. It was absolutely filthy. I wouldn't even let my dog sleep there! It was full of dead bugs, short hairs all inside the bed as well as cigarette ash in the bathroom. There also was mould growing on the floor tiles as well. The shower looked like it had never been cleaned before, the hair dryer and air conditioning unit were covered in thick dust. And there was rust and dirt all inside the fridge and freezer. The freezer also never closed properly. It was appalling. We were placed in a room that looked absolutely nothing like the pictures online, right next to a building and some chairs. The website also stated that we would have a safe, there was not. As if the conditions inside of the room weren't bad enough, We were told we would have a beach view from our room. Instead we got a brick wall with spray paint on it and very loud drunk people right outside our door... We had asked to be moved rooms but were told we would need to pay an additional €15 per night to be moved. They also said we would need to spend 4 nights in the filthy room we were assigned before we could move room we were assigned before we could move. Luckily, we booked this hell hole through ********** and after a long phone call with the customer service team, we managed tc get a refund. However, once we had been told we would receive a refund, the manager of the hotel had told us we had 1 hour to leave or we would be charged for one nights stay. This was another stress as we only had an hour to find out where we were going to stay since we had booked 9 nights. The only thing i could say that was good about this place was one of the receptionists were very kind. She apologised on behalf of her manager and seemed to understand that the conditions in the room were beyond unacceptable. Thope that if anyone is thinking about staying here that you reconsider unless you want to be inhaling mould and dust and sleeping in someone else's dirty sheets!

First impressions of the the reception was it seemed dark and not very welcoming.
But the receptionist was friendly and very helpful.
We came as a party of 5 and we wanted to be staying next to each other but this was not possible.
We were put at both ends of the apartments.
Myself,my wife and my son stayed what it seemed to be the old part of the building and this was very dark and dingy.
Once we entered the room it was fairly spacious but very dated.Looked like I had stepped back into the 70's.
Bathroom was awful,shower was broken and didn't have a proper shower cubicle it had a shower curtain fitted that was not big enough and when the trickle of water came out of the shower head it just went all over the bath room floor and it flooded the floor.
Bin was broken,just by a new one.
The curtain covering the patio doors was old and the curtain pole was rusting and paint flaking off.
The whole room needed refurbishment.
The outside area needs landscaping and all the cigarette butt's picking up.
All the photos on jet2 seemed to be photo shopped and are very misleading.
The only good point of this apartment is the view of the sea.
We will not be returning to this youth Hostile
