Hotels with pool in Zakynthos

The whole hotel is clean and well maintained with a lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds

Our room was spacious, light and very clean, with a very nice bathroom and a lovely view of the mountains and pool, i would say the shower was sometimes luke warm. The cleaners came in every day

They should add a sliding glass screen to make a proper shower cubicle. And finally, they should serve drinks in glasses in the evening once the pool is closed! That's it though, not much to moan about at all!

excellant facilities for the solo traveller great location and view of the beech maria goes above and beyond to help her clients and all staff were very friendly

Would we come back here again YES! if you are looking for a fuss free family holiday with a pool, drink and food Village Inn is perfect

Staff was extremely pleasant, always happy to help. Note: you'll need to buy water on this island. The tap water is salty/non-potable. The water coming out of the shower head is salty as well

Clean and really large (compared to others around) pool. It's never been too busy too, any time of the day you could find sunbeds so no need for early wake up. Pool was even empty at some points of the day

So first a nice clean hotel,rooms were large and cleaned,beds made everyday. Great view of the pool and a large balcony with furniture. The pool area very clean and a lovely size pool. Staff are friendly and helpful

There is splash area for little kids separated from the rest of the pool. There is also play area for the kids with slides, swings and roundabout. Can't really comment on the food - it looked repetitive on the menu

big praise for the restaurant girls ,they work non stop. we have seen the young receptionist being shouted at by a couple of women on seperate occasions,which is not acceptable at all

What can I say? we have been coming to alykanas for the last few years, and this is the worst hotel we've stayed in. The only good thing was the pool, which was huge

We've only had breakfast and it was OK, same thing every day but fresh and you wouldn't go hungry. Coffee, tea, squash for kids, toast, sausage, bacon, eggs,mushrooms, baked beans

We even cheekily asked for an upgrade to a room that opened onto the pool — expecting to pay — and to our surprise, they gave it to us for free! The food and drinks were great, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the location was spot on

Beach is 1 minure from the hotel, perfect for watching the sunrise. Managed to see the fisherman feeding the turtle aswell. Also visited Shipwreck bay, zante town, kalamaki and more!

Be warned, this hotel has plenty of steps and would be restrictive for guests with severe mobility issues. Finally, the hotel has two pool areas, both clean with plenty of sunbeds

Checked in and taking to our room, which was out the main building, across the road down a little lane, round the corner to pass a bar/eating area, past a building with another pool then another walk over to our annexe which had a block of 9 rooms, room was basic but it was fine, spacious balcony, we didn't realise the layout was like it was and the only reason we never complained was the view from...

There was a kettle but no tea or coffee etc but plenty of access to refreshments in the main area. Two flights of stairs bit much for heavy suitcases and anyone with mobility issues

Plus knackering each time for some of us heavier brits lol. Nice location, does need a little bit of an update and freshening up although it was end if season when we visited

The owner and staff are incredibly helpful and made the stay very relaxing! This is a great location - the strip is 10 min walking distance and the beach is literally 30 seconds away! The pool area is lovely and the rooms were clean, overall loved Vossos and would definitely recommend

Vossos was the perfect place for a group of girls on holiday. The pool was large and very clean, rooms had safes, the beach was a 2 minute walk and there was a shop just outside the door of vossos

However air con is an extra charge and the pool isnt always clean and is freezing. Great storage in the rooms and the beds are okay with nice big balcony. The shower is small but great!

Cleaners came in everyday to tidy up and were very polite. The owner of Vossos was very kind and made sure all residents were happy with their stay. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to go to Laganas

Goated spot, mad respect to slow guy, stayed up for us whenever we went out

Near beach and far enough away from strip (15mins) that it's quiet. Walls are quite thin so can be noisy in apartments. Kitten is small as has 1 or 2 hobs, pot, pan, colander and cutlery. Could do with a sponge, spatula

The pool / bar area is fantastic and great for relaxing. The best part is the hotel’s breakfast, simply fantastic with a large choice

The pool was clean and most of the staff seemed friendly but came across like something was always on their mind

A beautiful Place with Amazing people. The structure Is very well located, close ti Zante, Kalamaki and Argassi in few minutes you can reach beautiful beaches

So my only concern we had with the hotel was when we arrived we were unfortunately told that are room wasn’t ready because someone had fallen over in the room! We were given a basic room across from the hotel for the first night this wouldn’t have been a problem but we spoke to two other guests who were told exactly the same thing when they arrived, I just wish the hotel staff could have been honest...

This brings me to the cats at the hotel if you ignore them and shoo them away then then leave you alone, some people were feeding them which led to the cats jumping on the tables and stealing food! Personally we didn’t have a problem but other people were getting bothered by them

We were upgraded to a room which was beautiful and tempting as it had a hot tub but there were no cooking facilities which I really wanted. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and some great local tastes

Very kind people and very-very tidy room with a seasight. Beautiful sandy beach, shops nearby, free parking, elevator, breakfast included... Thanks a lot, keep up like this, we´ll definately come back to you!

Have been to this hotel already 4 times and it never disappoints! The location is great, right in front of the water, the service is amazing and the rooms are comfy and very clean.

It has steps down into the sea, which is shallow for about 100m perfect. Our own sunbeams just for the hotel, and plenty of them. Our room has two balconies where we could sit and look out to sea

The room was very satisfying and perfect for a family trip. You can see the sea right from the door, and watch the sunset and sunrise from the balcony

The apartment themselves were celaned well everyday and close to the beach and other shared pool areas (since it does not have a pool) so we were catered for on everything we needed as a family

What a great hotel and location 5yds to beachfront. the amazing ladies that own it where absolutely 💯 and even the cleaner's were so lovely and always happy

We also had our own private pool which was fantastic for the kids aged 5 & 7. We also were able to go to the main bit of the hotel and swim and lounge by communal pool

Positives: They are picturesque villas on a mountain side with traditional stone houses and beautiful pools from the pool deck. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Negatives: You definitely need a car to access

Kitchen provisions very basic as well. This can be best described as a budget accommodation in a gorgeous setting

The kitchen was traditional but some of the utensils and dishes were unclean - so we didn’t use them. The communal pool area is quite nice with adequate seating and the only place where we found that we could get data

We were the first guests this year. Great apartment that fully corresponded to the photos. Sunbeds and other seating areas. Beautiful view! Many beaches nearby. Porto Kaminio only 7 minutes by car

Sunbeds available for 1 drink (very affordable). Very quiet neighborhood (luckily). Very friendly caretaker (Christy). We were early but were allowed in the apartment right away

Lovely, stylish apartments with all amenities you need. The studios above the pool have a great view and the ground apartments are surrounded with nature and lemon trees. The apartments were cleaned every day

Pool towels were provided on request and toiletries provided, although not replenished without request. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was a nice bonus and the bar well stocked with a good food menu

Razis' location waa perfect for good restaurants and bars, plus an easy walk to the beach. The apartment was a good size and generally clean in all the right places with towels changed every other day

The beds were comfortable and we had a daily maid service. The pool area was nice and quiet. The owners and all the staff were very friendly and helpful

The staff cook and serve nice food at the pool bar and drinks are a reasonable price. We loved our stay, thank you

The bathroom was a little small but that didn’t spoil our stay at all. Although they were fully booked, it never felt busy or crowded especially round the pool and bar, lovely 🙂 The staff were so friendly and helpful

Nice pool, rooms were good, clean and tidy, we paid a 50 euro deposit per room which was refunded when we checked out, air conditioning was free and worked okay was that cold but thw room stayed at 16 once it had been on for 30 minutes

You are expected a deposit of €50 pp and that is in cash, making it easier to get back at the end of the stay. You are also expected a tourist tax but you should expect that with every holiday you go on abroad

At first I was scared to stay here because of the reviews however after staying here it’s clear that people just don’t do their research before arriving, reviews, the website etc

Staff were mostly kind and polite, the lady receptionist was a bit blunt and rude, also would have been nice to have been shown to our room but we had to find our own way

Really good independent hotel, we went self-catering, looked at the reviews, and thought we were in for a right rough time but was pleasantly surprised when we got there

Don't be put off by the area being mostly young teens on holiday because when they are out, you are in, and when they are in your out, so it worked perfectly 👌

The rooms on the top floor were very small with tiny showers. I can't criticise the staff, they were pleasant and attentive. Angelo in the bar (ran separately) was fantastic and couldn't do enough for anyone

Place is spotlessly clean and due to slightly older clientele at this time of year very chilled around the pool and no need to get up at crack of dawn to reserve beds etc

Our rooms were large enough and clean. The cleaner does a first class job. There was a 3rd bed in the room that blocked the use of the wardrobe and was there in place of any other storage item

There was 2 of us but we had no room for our stuff and had to live out of a suitcase. Had There been a 3rd person with us, then things would have been all over the floor

These family run studios are so so nice - we have been a few times now and cant wait to be back - they are spotless and all you want and within easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants- there are always plenty of sunbeds and parking over the road if you hire a car - Vaso and her family are lovely she’s nearly always there to welcome you and there when you leave - Angelos runs the bar - what...

We arrived quite late on Saturday night and manageress was there to greet us. We had a couple of minor issues with room but staff couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly and nothing too much trouble

Lovely stay- would recommend! We had an incredible stay here. The property is beautiful and very well kept. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh toiletries and the pool was lovely

The homemade breakfasts were different every day and absolutely delicious. The whole place is really well kept, with a super clean pool and a lovely, tidy territory

Nice balcony and small plunge pool. The garden with olive trees, fruit trees and swing was lovely. Short walk from resort centre amenities and beach. - Blocked drains smell a little too much at times

I would absolutely recommend staying here - it's a great base to explore the island from, with a nice pool and poolside area as well for your downtime

We also loved that there was various equipment that we could borrow for free, which made our stay even nicer. Having a parking space was also a big plus. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for more

Absolutely amazing place to stay when you’re visiting the island. The host was very accommodating as we needed an extra bed and he sorted it out with no fuss at all

The pool area was calm and never too crowded, the sunbeds were comfortable, and we also received beach towels which was very convenient. Breakfast was simple but fresh every day and always well replenished

I honestly don’t understand why there are so many negative reviews about this hotel. My sister and I had a wonderful stay here for a week. We had a room with pool view, with doors opening directly to the swimming pool

Fresh towels were provided every couple of days, but the floor was not vacuumed or mopped, which I think should be part of the service in a four-star hotel

There is also a pool bar where you can order nice drinks as well as food

Location was good for us as it was far away enough from the strip to not hear any music or loud noise. Mid September was a good time to go. Plenty of food for breakfast. Yummy cinnamon cream cakes were delicious to try

She did her very best every day to make sure everyone felt welcome and taken care of, which we really appreciated. The only downside I can mention is that the rooms were not cleaned during the week

I went for the deluxe room with sea view, everything was kept spotless and cleaned daily with frequent changes of bed linen and towels

Very clean rooms and very comfortable. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. They also were able to recommend places to get any type of meal that we needed as well

Also very close to the beach where you will have free sunbeds and umbrella. We'll definitely visit again!

Also TV with remote which I managed to get Netflix on. The shower was fantastic, no loss of pressure and had a combination of rainfall and normal shower head. There were no cold showers and had hot water all the time

There was a decent fridge, kettle, toaster and the owners had left complimentary wine, water and soft drinks. The bedroom had air conditioning with a remote control, which was used to its full capacity

As their photos show there is a hanging rail (may need a few more hangers) with two drawers underneath and storage for shoes/flip flops. Also a useful pull out make-up mirror in the bedroom

Great spacious studio with comfy beds limited cooking facilities but with a fabulous restaurant and pool bar on site who wants to cook!! It's a 8/10 minutes stoll to town centre which is more than doable

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week holiday staying at the Aphrodite studio and apartments. the apartment was immaculate, very well equipped, bedding and towels where changed very frequently

Host's were friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble. The studio would benift from a clothes drier to hang wet towels on rather than over the balcony

We ate their for 3 nights!! The complex is spotless and the pool bar is fab with mountain views

Spent a week in the 2 bed apartment & couldn't fault it tbh. Clean, functional, spacious, and with the lovely Apollo Taverna at the front. 10 minute stroll into Alykes centre so perfect after dinner to walk home & chat

We stayed in a luxury suite with private jacuzzi and sea view. Host left fruit, bread, milk, tea and coffee , snacks on arrival. Restaurant downstairs serves delicious home cooked Greek cuisine and other dishes

The pool area is lovely, the pink flowers along the balcony’s really add to the aesthetic of the hotel, however, we think this may be the reason the for number of flies and wasps which bother you all day

The beds in our room were very uncomfortable, the mattress was rock solid and you only have 1 flat pillow to lay on, so we had to use towels to put under the pillow

The pool is very cold, we managed to get into it, the sea is definitely warmer than the pool, but in October you wouldn’t expect it to be warm

You couldn’t relax with a cocktail in the sun for this reason. The hotel overall is very well maintained and clean, and the staff are all happy

The restaurant is nice, it’s a decent size and does have quite a good selection, but the food does get a bit repetitive by the end of the week but we always managed to find something to eat

We’ve had the most relaxing holiday at a stunning hotel with hosts that are just amazing, and can’t do enough for you.

What we loved: - fantastic rooms, tastefully decorated - amazing food and drinks - they are amazing, we ate in lots of places on the island but sometimes we wished we had eaten in the hotel - the staff are so kind and nice, literally everyone

- also had trouble getting an ironing board from our room (we called twice and once someone came with another ironing board so we were stuck with two, and the second time no one came at all) - the fridge is quite warm inside - no coffee machine in the room - hard to find exactly the room you want, for example I wanted a swim up room with a shared pool but it was the one with no seat above it and it...

Maybe my biggest annoyance as I have a fear of wasps but still worth mentioning. - the room we initially got was not what we expected, the view was directly onto other people sitting by the pool and it was very noisy

One of the best hotels I have ever been to. It is so well designed that you will not want to leave the hotel. All the rooms overlook this "pool-lake" in the center of the hotel

We were offered to move after a day so it wasn't a big deal. But if we hadn't been offered a change we would have considered changing hotel/room type as the room was very poor and there was no privacy at all

Every detail is thought out to the smallest detail, the rooms are very high and have a different "airiness". All the common areas are very high, so you do not even realize that you are in a building

Sakis & family very welcoming & friendly. Nice chilled bar & pool area. Good central Alykanas location just off the main strip so it is quiet in the evenings. Will definitely return next year

I've never stayed in the apartments but heard good things from people that have. Been coming to Alikanas for over 20 years and always spend the day here as its the best pool in the area

It's always spotlessly clean and there is a very chilled out vibe rather than packed with people like other pools here, you can always find a sunbed or somewhere to sit in the shade

We had a fabulous 12 night stay at The Zante Nest. Sakis is a lovely guy and cant do enough for you. Apartment was cleaned everyday and sheets and towels changed every other day

Pool is quite deep so ideal for adults who like to swim. Downside is not much storage. could do with some drawers in room, but i know these apartments are being upgraded each year. We will be returning for sure

Steve and I have had a lovely 2 weeks with Sakis and his family. Our apartment was nice and the location is very central. Restaurants, bars and the beach are just minutes away

Excelent location , very close to rasa beach ideal hotel for couples looking for a quiet room to sleep and in walking distance from bars and restaurants , you can go clubbing but return to a quiet room to sleep , accommodation value for money , comfortable , we did need a car to go to the beach as is located 1 minute walk , also the beach has crystal clear waters :) highly reccomended !

Very comfortable bed great balcony looking out onto a great pool area. The pool area and pool bar was great. Really friendly staff kept clean. (Only little downfall was pool area lots of shade areas but no major problem)

Only thing to mention is there are quite a few shaded spots around the pool, so in peak season it might be harder to grab a sunny lounger — but we had no problems in June

I have to say I was very apprehensive before our holiday to Argassi,as a first time visit Greece. I must say what a great holiday my wife and I had. Made extra special by this fantastic hotel Contessa hotel

Firstly on arrival greated by very friendly polite and courteous reception staff. Looking around the hotel whilst being checked in, first impression spotless. On entering our room 325 spotlessly clean

Breakfast was excellent - so much choice and a wonderful view from the breakfast room across the bay! Loved the pool area, sun loungers, and snack bar, and can highly recommend the club sandwich 👌The guys running the bar were awesome, nothing was ever too much trouble 😀 Our package included the use of the fridge and we added on the safe and borrowed a kettle and cups for our room

Just returned from an excellent stay at Hotel Contessa, and our first time visiting Zakynthos. We found all hotel staff to always be very welcoming, friendly and super helpful

The apartments are beautifully kept and maintained, family run and staffed with fabulously friendly and helpful people. A wonderful pool, 2 hot tubs and located high on the cliffs right next to the sea

Our favourite hotel whilst island hopping. The location is just beautiful, in a peaceful setting overlooking the ocean. The hotel was lovely and quiet, with 2 pools, a hot tub and well equipped rooms

We had a wonderful time here! Nice location, stunning ocean view, clean apartment, nice pool, friendly staff. We also loved the restaurant nearby.

Next door to the apartments there's a hidden stairway down to the sea, no beach as such, but room enough to set down a towel and explore the gently sloping sandy sea bottom

The restaurant was the highlight of our trip. All dishes we tried were cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and helpful. Totally worthy of its 5 stars!
