Great place to stay, wonderful people Zoltan and everyone were fabulous. Wonderful apartment at good location and great for families. Gave great information and really care. We have Hungarian family and will stay here again!

Apparent is in an old building so as is expected it needs some updates. However it was clean which makes a difference. The issue was with the air conditioner that wasn’t cooling, the fan was on but there wasn’t any cold air. Also, hot water is limited. After my kids took a shower me and my husband were left with luke warm, almost cold water. Nice and available owner.

Great location If you are looking for basic accommodation in a great location then this is it! I just needed a bed ina clean place for a few days in close proximity to public transportation and this was spot on! On top of that all the staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful rooms, great location but when booking keep in mind it's self service (no daily cleaning) and their reception works online so you should keep in touch with them to get your codes /keys to your apartment.

I stayed here for a week combining a conference with tourism. This venue is well situated on the lower levels of Buda. You can climb the stairs to central Buda or walk or metro or bus to Pest. It was convenient to have two rooms and kitchen and washing facilities even if I did not need to use most. Good breakfast buffet.

The room itself is not good. The bathroom on the other hand is old, not clean, sealant edges black. Clean towels every 3 days, if you want them earlier you have to pay for it. You have to make the bed yourself. Stayed 3 nights. No cleaning for 2 days, bucket in bathroom still full as well as bucket in room. You have a small kitchen unit, handy in itself but cutlery not in proportion, 1 spoon, 3 knives...

Staff is brilliant, helpful and professional. Room was modern, comfortable and well equipped. The place is a perfect location - castle is 2 minutes walk, major transport hub(tram,bus, underground) is 5 minutes walk, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Overall, the apartment was exactly as presented on the website. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was working and we found a sorry note on it with no prior update (even not at the reception).

Staff was very friendly, place was clean, if you don’t mind the walk most of the tourist attractions were close enough to walk to and if not buses and trams were close to the apartment. Grocery store was also close to the apartment. Although the apartment was very quiet, the night life in the area was fairly active. Parking is hard to get but wasn’t an issue for us.

Really easy to get to from the airport using the 100E bus. Got off at Astoria bus stop and walked the last couple of minutes. Easy check-in with really friendly and helpful reception. Room was very clean and spacious. Kitchen has everything we needed. We were a little surprised that bathroom was not fully equipped. No hair conditioner or lotion or shampoo. Only body wash. Three times Michelin guide, food is rich is flavour for me but was slightly too salty for my family. I personally enjoyed the food a lot and was really satisfied with what I had. There are a few Michelin guide restaurants around and are all under the same group. This one is abit further from the fisherman’s bastion, so the odds of it having space is the highest.

What a great hotel! The hotel and rooms are lovely and luxurious. The daily breakfasts were delicious. Staff was very helpful, including the bartender who made great recommendations. Location is super walkable. You can even walk to a nearby hop-on-hop-off bus stop only a block away!

Apartment is massive, great for 2 people although I was solo. Bed was comfy, ensuite worked perfectly, good shower which was powerful enough. Great location if you leave the guest house going right or left their a supermarket & metro lines so it’s pretty easy to get around Budapest. Their a laundry mat right across the street from guesthouse if you need to wash clothes.

The hotel environment is fantastic, like visiting a late 19th-century museum. I absolutely loved the design and look forward to staying here again on my next trip! The location is superb; all major attractions are within walking distance, and there are bus stops and subway stations just a 3-minute walk away. It's truly a quiet and beautiful place to stay!

This is a fantastic little hotel, a bit hard to find, but once you get inside, it's amazing! Although the facilities are a bit old, it's great value for money. I hope everyone can stay here, as the location is also excellent.

Went in December with a friend. Location is great, like 20 min walk from some great pubs and clubs. The room is nicely decorated and felt clean. Location also felt safe. The man who owns it’s is lovely, meets your at the entrance and shows your straight to the room. Would recommend

If you are not looking for a comfortable hotel room then I can recommend a stay here. In the 8th floor ~6 rooms are available here. The location is good. Not direct in the centre but therefore you don't see tourist all the time

Honestly don’t understand any bad reviews about this place. We stayed here for two nights and had the best time. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was sufficient and very yummy. The location was quiet and still very easy and walkable to the nearest sights. The people at the front desk were super nice and also let us check out later. Will be coming again for sure!

A clean accommodation option in a great location. Plenty of bars and places to eat within a short walk. The rooms was well-equipped and the shower excellent. The reception team was friendly and helpful and I liked the non-fussy but substantial enough breakfast with good coffee. Good accomodation near the Center of Budapest. Pros: Great location, friendly staff, comfortable cozy room, good bed, music TV channels, beautiful terrace in the dining room. Cons: Night noise from the street, poor breakfast, uncomfortable pillows.

Just a quick note to say how grateful I was for the help of the ever patient and resourceful staff . It was my first stop from Australia and they were very helpful , for example recommending a local travel agent when it was difficult to book a train on line

Very warm welcome upon our arrival, staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was more than good for a 3-star hotel, a pleasant surprise. The rooms are far too small, and the shower room and toilet area are unappealing. The carpet on the walkway is torn everywhere. With a few small investments, some things could be improved. Stayed from January 13th to 16th.

The location was perfect. The view was perfect. The breakfast was okay (but quality price perfect). I also was there at new years. I didn't like the room service because they didn't change the sheets, they just folded them.

Staying on a boat hotel is different and fun. This one was in a prime location, diagonally across from the Parliament buildings. Our cabin was small but comfortable, with padded, fabric-covered walls for a cozy feeling and good sound insulation. Amazing experience! Super location directly across the parliament building! Rich breakfast included! I think there is no hotel in all of Budapest which offers the same view. The boat itself is from the 1950s and used to do routes up and down the Danube river.

Having stayed here in November 2022, I got disappointed this time: smell in the boat ( fortunately not in the room so much), old and with the sense of abandonment, no separate shower cabinet in the bathroom (we were trying to find a way to dry the floor in order to step to the toilet), typical to poor breakfast buffet

We stayed a few nights during January 2026. This is such a cute place! We loved the spacious living area. It was nice to have a kitchen and a refrigerator too. Very safe place to stay. There are several places to eat and nice grocery stores near by.

The building is old but we'll kept, there are plenty of stairs and the hostel is on the top floor, I love the wallpaper designs. Hot water goes out sometimes so shower quickly! Agreed on previous reviews, the place has a feeling not a hostel for international travellers but for local long stayers, working class people. Stay here on your own risk, it's often fully booked due to an extremely low price but as a downside you'll get a bunch of loud ladies cooking their evening meals and socialising well into the night.
