Hotels on Danube river in Hungary

Great location. Friendly Staff. Towels very thin. We asked for a double duvet for myself and partner, but were given 2 single duvet covers.

The room was larger than I expected, and the high ceiling gave it an open feeling. The service from the reception staff was also excellent.

Overall, the experience was very good and the breakfast is delicious.

Fantastic location which is central to many great restaurants, the river and public transport. Breakfast was great as well with some variety with the hot food each day. Room size was good with nice views of the street however room was warm.

Very small room, no windows for getting fresh air. Comfortable bed, uncomfortable pillow... you wake up with neck issues; Delicious choices in breakfast, but to noisy... the breakfast starts at 7 and so the vacuum...

Excellent location, excellent clean room and the staff are very friendly, incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We hired a mobility scooter for the duration of our stay and the effort from the reception team not only to store it safely but to make sure that it was fully charged for the following day was appreciated. I visited hotel twice. Fist time was fine and it was well organized. After my second visit, I noticed that the hotel has become quite neglected. The hygiene is very poor. I believe you can do much better.

Had a lovely 3 night stay in Budapest. The Hotel was perfectly located for all my exploring. The breakfast supplied was sufficient and a great view from their restaurant. My only criticism was the bathroom sink. It was so shallow in depth, it was very hard to wash without causing a flood.

Everything was fine except …was my mistake…. I didn’t have other option only suite with bathtubs but we are seniors and my son is in wheelchair so was difficult for us is not the hotel fault but was kind of dangerous. Stayed for 5 nights! Excellent location for seeing the city, and the breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. The service is above and beyond. We used the sauna on site, visited two of the recommended restaurants (both were amazing) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Casati! Would definitely return.

Overall, the unit was clean, with functional appliances. However, we couldn’t use the wifi for the first day due to technical issues and the tv throughout our stay.

Overall our stay was lovely, however, the property no longer has the rooftop terrace area with the views or the basilica which was one of the reasons we booked. We had plans to utilise this area instead of cooking every night, however, it is now a dental clinic. Very disappointing this is still being advertised.
