The receptionists are friendly and professional. Unfortunately when we arrived, all the people had to check in at the hotel next door and it became a long line. Still the service is fine. They offer drinks on the reception - quite sweet. Drinks in the fridge are also free. The money value ratio is quite acceptable.

Centrally located. Perfect for sightseeing and shopping. Rooms are neat and comfortable. But no kettle, no water, no tea/coffee. TV is rubbish - a couple of news channels and the rest is Hungarian. Breakfast is passable. Not much choice. No fresh fruit. Fridge doesn't work.

Nice room, but the lighting is pretty bad. Lightbulbs are small (maximum 10 Lumens) and 2/3 are working. Rennovations are taking place at the hotel. It's noisy from 8am in the morning up to 6-7pm

This hotel supposedly is a 4 star superior hotel, but I would give it hardly 3 stars. We arrived on a Monday and stayed till Friday. Tuesday late afternoon I informed reception that our room was not cleaned. They sent someone who emptied the 2 bins in the room and - because I asked her - made up the beds. The other days only the bins were emptied. Beds were never made up, bathroom was never cleaned...

We visited the hotel several times. It is gradually being renovated, from the new interiors of the rooms, the restaurant to the new sunbeds by the pools. Really weak value for money, definitely not a 4-star accommodation. They change towels only every third day, so you have to visit the spa three times with the same towel (quite unhygienic). I stayed in a deluxe king room on the 6th floor. It had a balcony, and overall the experience was very good. Breakfast was served hot, so it had to be cooked to order; other meals were buffet style. The environment was nice, the location was good, and it was convenient for getting around.

This is probably the best hotel I stayed in during my three-week trip to Europe. The environment, breakfast and location are all good. There is a great view restaurant on the top floor, but reservations are required in advance.

This Aria in Budapest has been in my mind for many years. It is in a very good location in the city center. You can reach many attractions on foot. The hotel has its own style, elegant environment and good service. It is worth staying.

Very, very nice. It was built in the 1830s, as I recall. It is very pretty. Huge garden. Beautiful stained glass windows. An interesting walking path or two. We had a large balcony that was very nice. We were there on night so we did not get to take advantage of everything. I would recommend at least two nights if you want to take advantage of everything available.

We had the superior rooms which were quite spacey. Bathroom is a bit old. But the rooms had a nice view on the historic church across the street. (Bells at 6:00). Perfect location for a stroll around the city. The pools and saunas were very nice to relax. Everything is a bit old but still does for a comfortable stay.

Recent three day stay. Great location right across the road from the Metro. Staff were very helpful upon check and during our stay. One thing I must mention is that the breakfast was fantastic. We are planing another trip to Budapest soon and will be staying at the Nemzeti again.

This hotel is perfect. On arrival there was a lovely clean smell around. The rooms were spacious. The windows opened which I like in a hotel. We had an overhead fan too which was silent. We had a mini fridge. This worked well. The beds were comfortable and the bedding very clean . The carpets were so clean.

We were there in low season midweek. The hotel has been recently renovated, everything, including the spa and thermal facilities, was new, modern, clean and well working. The hotel is clean and tidy, with plenty of food in the small refrigerator. The location is convenient and the transportation is close to the subway station. You can walk to nearby attractions. The facilities are complete, and there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The towels and toothbrushes are average.

The rooms are clean, they could probably have undergone at most a partial renovation compared to the lobby and the restaurant area. Private closed parking. This hotel is surprisingly super great both for adults and kids. The staff is extremely friendly, food is excellent, and the venue at the beach has also an amazing atmosphere and view. I couldn’t find anything negative. The playhouse, the sauna, the inside pool, the trampolin park, the playground, the menu selection, the game room all 5*. A huge thank you!

Very strong 4/5 here I only advise you to come if you have children. Upon arrival the staff was exceptionally nice and very welcoming. The entire bottom floor/lobby/kids play area/ dining is all 5/5 new and very top tier. The rooms definitely are on the older side. Spent a couple of days at the hotel that was designated a family weekend, primarily for children. Very enjoyable and a nice atmosphere in the hotel. One moan that our party did not appreciate. There was a company event taking place in the hotel that meant the lake side bar was closed to guests not part of this company event - quite poor in my opinion when you are a full paying hotel guest but a facility...

The view is breath-taking. Silent area, very nice after season is over. Swimming pool is very pleasant. The restaurant downstares is as good as any 5-star hotel restaurant in the capital.

I was looking forward to this trip but unfortunately the hotel did not meet the expectations. The rooms were nice but the swimming pools were really dirty and full of dead skin. I was there for a business trip and forgot my iPad in the room after I checked out. They delivered it to the office. That’s 5 star service! Everything else - rooms/ breakfast/ general service as well was perfect.

The hotel and the rooms are nicely renovated. The location is good. The elevators are unbelievably slow, but more importantly, the food is very average, definitely not 4* standard. Not strictly hotel issue, but we were expecting better spa facilities as well.

We spent only a night in this hotel, it was great. We needed a quiet hotel with sauna near to our home. The receptionist speak good german, the food was delecious, and the coctails excellent. There are 2 rooms for children, both of it are on the ground floor, far from the guestsrooms.
