Really nice hotel in the area, the breakfast and dinner are great and delicious!

I travel to Hungary multiple times a year spending most of my time in the west of the Danube/Budapest . I say this because I compare my recent to Delibab to Budapest prices and service for similar properties. The size and condition of the rooms do not meet Budapest levels such as the Budapest Hilton yet the nightly rate here is more expensive! The breakfast was ok and again does not compare to hotels...

Hotel Délibáb boasts an excellent location with direct access to the Hungarospa thermal complex, which we found particularly convenient. Parking facilities were satisfactory and well-organized. Dinner in the hotel restaurant met our expectations—meals were tasty, and presentation was appealing. However, breakfast service fell somewhat short, as the staff struggled to replenish items in a timely manner...

We had a wonderful stay at the Margareta Hotel. Really nice staff and excellent food (we had half board). The room looks a bit older, but it is very clean. We took the opportunity to play table tennis and the children and wife tried a very pleasant wellness. It would be nice to strengthen the wifi a bit and to put at least a basic small kettle in the room so that I could make my favorite tea next time...

The hotel is located in a perfect location, within walking distance to the central area, shopping malls, etc. Most of the rooms are spacious and perfectly fine for even longer stays (I was there for nearly a month). Good hotel located in the central area of Debrecen. You get really good value for money. Nice breakfast buffet with plenty of fresh and freshly made selection. Friendly and helpful staff. And do not forget the wellness area on the third floor, where you can find a sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool, solarium, and open terasa and sit outside on nice summer day.

My room was great. The mattress was a little too soft for my taste and the lack of a shower curtain was a bother, but regardless, it was a pleasant experience. The free access to the wellness center was a fortunate surprise. The breakfast had great variety. Would recommend.

The hotel is really 5 minutes by walk from the center so the location is great. Otherwise it is quite obsolete, and even looks dirty (the walls, carpet). The bathroom is not so attractive either. If you have something to do in the Kolcsey Center this is a good choice since its 1 minute by walk.

Rooms facing the park are large and relatively quiet. Rooms facing the main street can be noisy and are quite small with old TV sets. Bathrooms are generally ok, but the shower cabin could be designed much better... Breakfast is very good, there is something for everyone. Hotel has a nice swimming pool and limited spa/gym facilities.

The AC did not function in my room and I reported it many times but they never responded. I woke up sweaty all the time. Not highly recommended as there should be better in Debrecen. The room was average for the price, this is more like a 2 or 3 star hotel no way 4 star. Good for soldiers as there were many in this hotel for breakfast

This is not a 4 star hotel... maybe 3 stars. The pros: Spa-hotel-restaurant complex together. Ideal for families with children... the price includes breakfast and dinner and you may not have to leave the complex during your vacation... The cons: Rooms are remodelled, simple Holiday Inn style.. nothing special. Rooms are small. Hotel and restaurant staff seem to be overworked, not very motivated...

Great spa, nice pools, perfect dressing room, but coed. This time of the year it is spacious and not too crowded.

Hotel is spotless, and 5 minutes covered walkway from the arrival terminal. Internal styling reminds me of Raddison Red. Quirky but imaginative room decoration (how to make a paper airplane!!)

Breakfast is convenient, starting as early as 4 AM.The hotel is just a short walk from the airport—less than 5 minutes across the parking lot.The only issue is that the heating in the room was a bit insufficient.

Check in and check out were quick and smooth. Excellent location - 5 min walk from the terminal. Room was clean and functional. Variety of food at the breakfast is not great, but the breakfast starts at 4AM, which is convenient. The most left electric socket above the table did not work (room 103). Perhaps, the hotel admin would like to check and fix it.

The aircon in the room is not working. The room is stuffy. The lift was not working on the ground floor. So we must carry our luggage by stairs to the second storey to take the lift to our room. Fair for the price. Unfortunately, it’s visible that we are talking about a hotel which is more than 20 years old. The amortization of the property is not handled properly: drilled holes on the walls, low water pressure in the bathroom, unsightly and disintegrating floor edges. However the food was OK, despite the fact that there are not so much gluten-free options.

We stayed in Premium rooms and they were great, with a balcony and nice big beds. The staff were friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant and at the reception. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is fantastic. You can reach Heroes’ Square, City Park, and Széchenyi Thermal Baths in 10 minutes. Me and my fiancé had a great experience here, the rooms are super cosy and vibey. The facilities here are placed well as you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Balaton while relaxing. I can honestly say even after 2 nights here I feel refreshed and pampered. One of the staff members, Lia was so friendly and accommodating too which really enhanced how pleasant this destination is.

Don't judge a book by its cover This hotel may be old school with dated decoration but it is spotless. The rooms are clean, the beds are new and comfortable and the staff is helpful. The location is quiet, but close to the beach (5 min), and about a 15-minute walk from restaurants and small stores. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.
