The location is decent, and for India, the cleanliness is probably okay. The main thing I want to point out is that it was quiet at night. The staff tries hard, but then again, this is India.

Very disappointing experience. After check-in, the staff took me to a different building, not even the hotel itself, and showed me a dirty room that looked nothing like the one I booked. Then they tried to offer me other rooms in other buildings and even in another hotel. Only after I contacted Trip.com and complained did they suddenly find a room in the actual hotel building. This was misleading, wasted my time, and caused unnecessary stress. I would not recommend this hotel.

Love the decorations with vintage French style. Especially the elevator. Location was nice, close to bars, restaurant and market and the ocean too. Staff was friendly.

It's a decent hotel, but there's a caveat.
I booked a king-size bed, but they put me in a room with a single bed, which was cheaper the entire trip. We couldn't resolve the issue. "If you don't like it, cancel the reservation," was the answer.
There was no time to argue and look for another one, so I had to agree.

Very good location with friendly staff and clean and spacious room! Only negative point is the breakfast which is very weak (3 slices of bread, 2 jams and butters as well as coffee or tea)

I booked two large rooms as per requirement but was given one big room and one small room . Though I mentioned clearly Four Adults and Two 15 year old kids.

A safe and average place to stay. Good hospitality but the rooms are not that maintained. The bed sheets were slightly stained and also had holes. The quality was not that good. The option for breakfast was limited.

A rooftop restaurant with a fantastic view but a little off route, as the entrance is inside a lane and easy to miss. The white metal chairs and tables give a classy old school feel to this place but they are rather uncomfortable. The menu has nothing out of the ordinary and the food is over-priced. We had Chicken Tangdi Kabab, Chicken Kohlapuri and also tried out Chicken Hakka Noodles to round up the available cuisines. The kabab was pretty nice, a tad too charred and the kohlapuri was tasty. The noodle was seriously disappointing. The portions were really small given the hefty price tag. Service is ok.

Good as always. No definition for the quality of food needed. But the seating places is too small, keeping in mind the city Mumbai not a bad place to devour on some hot pizzas.

Booked a table for 3..Ambience is quite ok overall.. The music is very pedestrian and felt like I am sitting in a local taxi,which I have no issues with but given the ambience it could be better.
Cocktails were refreshing.. The Rum Along Captain was citrusy and refreshing.
The Lucknowi Seekh was lightly spiced and perfect, as was the doodhwaley Kebab. The Tandoori jhinga was the star of the show.. Spicy and each prawn the size of a small fist.
For the mains, the Namkeen Gosht was light, with cashews and cream. Mutton could be more tender. Indian salmon was good too.
Desserts were pretty run of the mill.
Overall a good place but some slight tweaking can bring them up to their own Taj standards.

The place is over hyped. We ordered lucknawi biryani...it did not sit well with our palate. Very limited veg options...the ambience is nice
