Staff members were all extremely friendly and helpful. Property is very new with a nice modern design. Convenient location but we heard lots of traffic noise from our room even in the middle of the night.

WOW what a FANTASTIC Stay. The breakfast was fantastic and was the 2nd best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Our standard room still had a beautiful lake view. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The pool deck was relaxing and fun (still a little to cold for us to get in). This hotel was up there with the Ritz Maldives and St. Regis Dubai as one of our favorite hotels. I don't have a single negative thing to say about this hotel or our experience.

This is a new hotel in the best central location on Lake Como. I booked a suite with a lake view overlooking Bellagio and my favorite part was the stunning view from the room balcony. The suite was much smaller than I expected, but modern, clean, and finished with high-quality materials. What sets this hotel apart is the exceptional staff. Every team member went above and beyond to make our stay special. I was faced with a booking issue upon arrival, but it was handled quickly and professionally. A special thank you to Ana, who made everything perfect. She helped with a last-minute dinner reservation by the lake and organized a private boat trip to Villa Balbianello, which ended up being the absolute highlight of the trip. The amenities are outstanding: valet parking, a beautiful spa, a stylish fountain near the elevators, and a fantastic breakfast with a view at Renzo (I had the best French ever). My favorite was the floating pool on the lake and the adjacent bar serving delicious homemade pizza. One downside is the busy road between the hotel and the lake/pool area. Our room was noisy, traffic during the day and noise from the Renzo restaurant until around 11pm. Luckily the windows do provide some soundproofing. In terms of value, the rooms are on the expensive side, but this seems to be typical for the Lake Como area. Also, as a modern hotel it lacks the historic “old palazzo” vibe and does not have a garden. On a positive note, the contemporary design delivers superior comfort. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would happily return, especially for the views, amenities, and truly outstanding service.

Vot bez etoy ironichnoy frazy: Title: Beautiful Views, But Not Quite a Luxury Retreat The Lake Como EDITION has some undeniable strengths: it is fresh, new and stylish, with a convenient location near Menaggio and Grand Hotel Tremezzo, a beautiful lakeside pool area, elegant public spaces, and an excellent rooftop breakfast with a spectacular view. The breakfast is a la carte rather than buffet, but the food and service there were very good. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The hotel is effectively surrounded by roads, so even our room on the supposedly quieter side was noisy. At night we heard motorcycles, loud cars and trucks, and every morning around 6 a.m. there was noisy unloading activity under our window -- a rather efficient alternative to an alarm clock, though not one we requested. Another disappointment is the complete lack of hotel grounds. There is no private territory, not even a small garden, which is surprising for a hotel of this level on Lake Como. The service also felt inconsistent. Some moments were perfectly good, especially at breakfast, but basic requests were handled poorly. We had requested a baby cot and extra blanket several hours before arrival, yet they were still not ready when we arrived late in the evening. Despite several calls, we waited for hours, while our child could not go to sleep. The spa hours are another curious decision: it closes at 8 p.m., which is precisely when many guests return from exploring Lake Como and would actually want to use it. One almost has to admire the commitment to making the spa least available at the most logical time. Overall, the hotel is new, stylish and has beautiful views, but the noise, inconsistent service, lack of grounds and impractical details made the value for money very unconvincing.

We stayed three nights in early April with our two teenagers. The Major Issue: The spa and pool are restricted to guests 16 and older, which was never disclosed when booking. This was the primary reason we chose this property, and it significantly impacted our stay. Families with younger teens should be aware before booking. Service Inconsistencies: The front desk staff was excellent and genuinely welcoming. We received nice welcome amenities in both rooms. However, the lobby service was hit or miss. During one visit, a professional photo shoot was happening and we were completely ignored. This felt like a newer hotel still prioritizing marketing over guest experience. Breakfast: The food quality was good, but it’s only served outdoors. In early April it was uncomfortably cold with heaters turned off. We ate breakfast under blankets, which is not what you expect at a hotel of this caliber. Dining: The concierge gave excellent restaurant recommendations in nearby towns. Unfortunately, the hotel’s own restaurant (Cetino) was disappointing with mediocre food served in a windowless room with zero ambience or view. Rooms: Modern, clean, and well appointed with basic amenities. However, the bathrooms were quite small. Location Pros and Cons: There’s a direct ferry to Bellagio right across from the hotel, which is convenient. However, the hotel sits on a main road. Rooms facing the water have noticeable traffic noise. Also important: during shoulder season there are virtually no Ubers or taxis available. Getting around without a car was extremely difficult. Bottom Line: This is a good choice if you understand what you’re getting. It’s a modern, well designed property in a convenient location with friendly front desk staff. However, it’s still working through operational issues like undisclosed age restrictions, uncomfortable breakfast setup in shoulder season, and inconsistent service. Know the limitations going in and you’ll likely enjoy your stay.

Have stayed in The Lake Como recently and my experience was definetely not what I’ve expected. The hotel and rooms are indeed fabulous, breakfast delicious and has a nice concept of a La carte service, the gym is big and well equipped. Unfortunately, that is not enough as the most important was service - rather you won’t feel difference whether you are booking guest or elite member like Platinium, Titanium or Ambassador member. We couldn’t check oout at 4pm which is our right and the hotel didn’t offer anything. Secondly, the pressure in the shower was so slow and bad. Thirdly, what I’ve seen in multiple opinions, we’ve also encountered the violation of private space - housekeeping enters the room without knocking or any sign, which should be unacceptable! Lastly, what didsapointed me the most - the lack of communication of hotel staff and zero will to make the stay relaxed and unforgettable. The stay was for special occasion and the staff, despite many reminders, forgot about all our requests and made the day full of stress, disappointment and sadness. The hotel is definetely overpriced and not capable to provide a service that will be equal to thousand of euros they want for a night. Skip this hotel as it is simply not worth it - nothing besides beautiful interior makes you feel like you in a luxury hotel. The staff unfortunately spoiled all my experience and opinion.

The hotel (rooms, loby, bar) overall is simply stunning, fresh and modern…but the service has ruined all my stay. I booked a hotel for a special occasion and asked in advance by email about small, basic requests hotel should provide. The email communication I was bad - I’ve waited few days for a reply and got it only I called after 5-6 days of waiting asking for a reply. That actually happened twice. The departments of hotel seem to not communicate because they assured me they will provide my 2 requests and after few reminders they still forgot and failed to do it. Taking into account the room per night costs thousands of euros, it is ridiculous that such luxury a la high-service hotel fails at basic requests. When you come to such high standard hotel, you should enjoy your stay and not constantly think and remind the stuff about requests you have placed. Another thing I also noticed in other opinions - housekeeping entering without knocking. Same happened to us - they just opened the door without any sign and only after they entered the room they say “room service”. That is absolutely unacceptable!!! The concept of the breakfast is fabulous - slow morning, delicious food, a bit slow service, but it is completely understandable as each guests receives a very individual details service. Our waiter Livio was professional at his service! If you want to choose this hotel for a special occasion, better choose other one unless you want your special occasion to turn into stress and disappointment.

The Lake is magical / stunning and romantic, the beautiful hotel is new .... only 2 weeks old after a soft launch last summer - BUT give them time! I have stayed in most of the Editions around the world and this one will become one of the very best I am sure …. It is learning and one high season will iron out many of the gremlins ... specifically end to end service that makes a difference. This is not an equivalent hotel to the Grand Hotel Tremezzo - despite being close locally. This hotel offers the refined elegance at 4x the price ! This is an Edition - vibey, minimalist and cool. We paid top dollar for a loft balcony suite - top tip think about whether it is worth it - the room is small-ish for a suite and the design more for look than function badly - silly things can get kind of annoying with the layout. There is a pair of small chairs and a tiny table and a flowerpot on the balcony - you can not really sit out - but you can open the balcony window fully whereas other windows just part open. The staff are very nice and friendly - Vincenzo a delight - and after a high season they will gel and be very slick … just needs a little time. Top tips for the hotel - you will need glass around the terrace restaurant - just like the Tremezzo - with the wind and changeable weather during mid-season only having Cetino and the lobby bar area will not be enough. Practically, we found getting around the local area a bit of a chore - taxis everywhere unless you want to walk quite a way to ferry terminals & expect to take out a mortgage for the Lake boats / private transfers. Driving would be fine in March / April as it was quiet - but in high season not a great idea! Overall a hotel of beauty that will become excellent very soon I am sure - a Grazie Edition Lake Como! 🇮🇹❤️🇮🇹

As Bonvoy members, we tend to stick with Marriott properties, and while we were planning our Italian vacation, we realized that Lake Como Edition would be having its soft opening in September, so we decided to stay 5 nights while celebrating my husband's birthday. As usual, I will start with the positives: This is a beautiful hotel with a lot of greenery throughout the property; the overall aesthetics stayed true to the Edition brand. It is located in Caddenabia and a short walk away from the local ferry port "Navigazione Laghi", where you can buy ferry tickets to go to other towns and back. Since this is during soft opening, not all facilities were open during our stay, but for those that were, everything was near perfection in terms of hardware, from the bar to breakfast, gym to the pool. We booked a standard lakeview king, and we were assigned a corner room. It was beautiful, the sculptural marble archway framing the bedroom entrance and the window with the lakeview was simply an architectural masterpiece. Even though our room did not have a balcony, the french door style window opens up fully, and we were able to enjoy the view as if we had a balcony. The room has multiple windows and was able to capture ample daylight, the overall aesthetics in the room was comfortable and ozzes a sense of softness. The bathroom and shower were lined with marble, had a window with lakeview, and featured Le Labo amenities. Only single vanity, and there wasn't quite enough space for storage. The breakfast area offers a similar lakeview, where you have a choice to dine upstairs, which is al fresco, or downstairs next to the bar, which is indoor. During our stay, we dined al fresco every morning. Food selections and quality were up to standard, and they also offered a rotation of pies that a server will circle with. The gym was well stocked with new equipments, and very clean. The gym itself was of decent size. The bar was beautiful, with plenty of seats and lounging areas. There was also a pool table, which echoed the one in Miami beach that I really enjoyed. Alan, the bar manager, was friendly and hospitable. We chatted for a while as he was showing us around. The bar staff were also friendly, drinks were good, but you are paying hotel prices for it. The hotel porter, Daniel, was delightful throughout our stay. He always had a great smile on, an amazing attitude, helped us with our bags during check-in, gave us directions and recommendations in nearby towns, and helped us cross the road to catch the bus to Menaggio. The best feature of this hotel undoubtedly was the floating pool against the backdrop of the lake and mountain. You do need to cross the street to get to the entrance of the pool, then go down a flight of stairs before you reach the check-in desk. There were ample amounts of plush sun loungers with sun umbrellas that had a blue and white stripe pattern, reflecting Italian flair, and visually pleasing against the Lake Como backdrop. It was also a j

When I say that everything about our stay at The Edition Lake Como was a 10 out of 10, it's not an exaggeration. The service was impeccable...every single person we encountered was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. The rooms are gorgeous, immaculately clean, and have all of the modern amenities you need. And the VIEW...I am not sure there is a better view on Lake Como. The location is fantastic, just across the lake from Bellagio, with the ferry about a block away. The pool is beautiful, the gym is epic, and while their spa isn't open yet, the concierge was so helpful in setting up spa services for us at a nearby resort. The food was stunning and delicious as well. The daily breakfast was something I looked forward to every day...a basket of flaky pastries, a great selection of unique and special breakfast entrees, coffee, fresh squeezed juices, and a lovely little fruit bowl. All while enjoying that VIEW! We had dinner one night as well and the food at Renzo was equally delicious. We celebrated our 25th anniversary at The Edition Lake Como and they made it so special. We will definitely be back! P.S. We were lucky enough to stay here using Bonvoy points...if you can find availability using points, I highly recommend splurging!
