Nice staff , great location. Parking fees were astronomical. You have to pay for many additions, such breakfast which we bought part of the package but there was a section that was also an additional charge . Be prepared to pay for many things

I thought I was lucky because I was given an upgraded room without any explanation of the price, but when I checked out, I was told that I had not paid the full amount for the room, and I had to pay an extra 100 euros. Also, the walls were thin and I could hear the voices from the next room and outside, which was terrible. Please be careful.

The hotel is very close to the historic center and there are actually 2 hotels, the Villa Alberti and the Mediterraneo opposite. The receptionists were very friendly and the room was good and the breakfast, very pleasant, was served at the other hotel. Parking was easy and paid too. Excellent location and it was a great choice. Very easy to take the bus to Portofino and the train to Cinque terre. This is very important

Booked at Hotel Villa Alberti after looking at a few different properties in the area. We loved our stay and would likely book here again if we were to return to the area.

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough to accommodate our 3 suitcases. The bathroom was great with a decently sized shower that never ran out of hot water. I believe we may have been upgraded to a slightly larger room than we booked, so that almost certainly made our stay even more pleasant.

My husband and I both enjoyed the included breakfast. I only wish we had a longer stay so I could have tried more of the pastries. =)

My only concern was that the front door of the hotel seemed to have been broken/busted at some point so it was able to be opened by just pulling hard enough, however there is a locked gate that should generally prevent anyone from being able to open it (assuming it hasn't been propped/left open, which it occasionally was). That being said, we still felt safe and had no issues with our stay at the property.

All the staff are pleasant. Perfect welcome. Clean room, the bedding is not the best and the soundproofing is very poor, both towards the other rooms and the outside. Breakfast not worthy of a 4 star. Great location, close to the old town and the port.

I lasted 12 days only because I paid in advance with no possibility of a refund. The windows of room number 3 directly overlook an oven of a bakery that works at night (impossible to sleep), I also found mold in the wardrobe. I demanded the change even though they were fully booked. They gave me the final room on the fourth night, which had the access door crawling on the floor and with a broken lock.
The whole recently renovated structure is absolutely NOT soundproofed and you can hear all external noises and those coming from the neighboring rooms.
Breakfast is at the adjacent Mediterraneo hotel, a nightmare! The staff are insufficient and the waiter in particular is impatient and nervous. Waiting times for a simple cappuccino are very long and the food offer is very poor.
I can confidently say that there is only the price of a 4-star hotel !!!

Stay very much below the standard of the establishment!
Invasion of winged ants in the bathroom: shower, towels etc!
And at breakfast we found fish in scrambled eggs !!!
After indicating this, the manager told me that we will not pay the extras (breakfast and parking)
These were counted despite everything !!
Unreliable and not correct staff !!!
Do not go there!
