I arrived this afternoon and left an hour later because, upon entering the assigned apartment, it felt like being in the North Pole due to the freezing cold inside. So my husband called the person in charge and explained the situation. The lady in question tried to resolve the issue by giving us a new apartment, which seemed warm, but a new problem arose. When we took the bathroom linens from the previous apartment to the new one, I noticed that the bidet towels were missing. I then asked the same lady if I could have them, but she replied that there was no bidet in the bathroom; in fact, none of the apartments had bidets! This was the final straw... we left because it wasn't the right place for us.
I would advise the owners on several things...first and foremost, the furnishings. In the first apartment, the one shaped like an icebox, the stovetop had four burners but was rusty; In the second apartment, there was a small refrigerator under the sink, but it didn't work, and a full-height refrigerator. I wondered why they didn't replace that unused refrigerator with a cabinet under the sink.
Ultimately, these apartments might seem acceptable only to a cursory glance, but a careful eye reveals various flaws.
We left, and it was better that way for everyone.
