You can always find something different to try on the menu and plenty for kids. They have a small deli section for lunch if you wanted something different. Sandwiches and some different pizzas

From the food, to the service, scenery, rooms, and atmosphere. We absolutely did not want to leave this place and will be returning. The rooms were maintained daily, cleaned and swept

The resort is small and quaint, which made it perfect for our family. Our young children felt free and safe to explore, and they made friends to play with all week

Vehicle was in a locked parking garage for duration of our stay, only half a block from our hotel. Room size and comfort first rate.

Nice and well kept place with serviceminded staff. Rooms are airy and nice and sound insulated which is good bearing in mind the city center location.

Very nice location, right on the beach, the rooms are clean and cleaned daily, they all have sea-viewing balconies, but they are kinda small. Basic breakfast, but ok, staff is very friendly.

We stayed in a Junior Suite (Dependence Mare) which was superbly comfortable, spacious and with 3 balconies (2 big enough to sit on) with beautiful views out to sea

We didn't get a chance to use the beach club but will next time. We can't wait to stay at the Piccolo on our next visit to Italy

Kala and Manisha provide wonderful breakfasts on the terrace, which has spectacular wrap round views, and Vincenza, Sandra, Eulani, Domenico and all the staff were so approachable, helpful and simply lovely people

We loved our stay at the Piccolo Grand Hotel. The people were friendly and so helpful. The bright, cheerful coloring of the hotel puts a smile on your face. The breakfast on the roof was the best

Having travelled Italy pretty extensively but never been to Calabria we weren't sure where to go but Piccolo Grand drew us to Pizzo

A wonderful B&B in the heart of Tropea. Just a few steps from the Belvedere Piazza del Cannone, located in a small side street. The owner is a very friendly person who takes his time and is always ready to help

He also runs a bar nearby, where we picked up our keys and enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next day. The B&B's facilities are perfect: the room is spacious and has large windows overlooking the Piazza

Very comfortable bed, good heat and power to the shower, clean place nice service beautiful area would recommend. Caring and friendly staff very close to the beach lots of local shops for food not short on options

Check in during the off season. Tropea is actually a city that relies heavily on tourism. It’s really not suitable to go in winter

Amazing room with a close location to the beach and right in the center of town. Breakfast comes with an amazing bite from Caffe del Corso. Host is kind and accommodating and room is clean and quiet

Just get a regular room, don’t pay extra for this. The hottub is just a jetted bathtub, the water doesn’t get hot, just lukewarm and the jets were not very strong and there was film in the water before we got in

It was a nice stay, everyone was friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and very nice! We liked that it was walking distance to shops and restaurants, which were really good ! We thought the beach was accessible by walking , so we went through this area off the parking lot but quickly figured it was not part of the resort

You can book a shuttle to take you there and back though and it is definitely worth seeing! The food was good, but we did go off the resort for authentic Calabrian food which was amazing! There wasn’t much to do on the resort , especially during off season when it’s a little colder

The pool area is beautiful but we didn’t get to use it much unfortunately, as it was cold. You can also take the shuttle down town but it is an easy 10 minute walk

The pools were nice and refreshing! The breakfast was nice. Location was good - only about a 10 minute walk to the centre

Second time I have stayed here . The best in Atea

The bathroom had terrible ventilation and smelt like stale water. We could also hear the people above us moving around so loudly and when we asked to move, the lady said she’d organise it tomorrow and never did

Panoramic views from chills..the sea is a fairy tale! Shame that the decor has remained the 90's... to reach the beach there are over 200 steps.. nice and friendly staff. In three words "a Ferrari parked" .

There's a swimming pool for adults (3 m) and kids (0,7m) - be mindful about required swimming caps, which I haven't seen for 25 years, but you can get them at the local bar

Beautiful views, amazing beaches around plus very good food from Calabria. It's a shame all the garbage around the streets, the population could get together and demand cleaner streets. As a whole experience is 5 stars

The beach itself is kind of private - mostly hotel guests are sitting there, however people from neighboring beach are free to come, swim, sunbathe. Anyway, it's far better than neighboring crowded beaches

The hotel has a path/stairs to the beach, which are fully shaded, which is really great

Hotel is not too big. Loved location over looking the sea. Food was great and serving staff were very efficient and friendly. Reception staff were not so friendly which was wierd.

They also were very quick to set up tours to different towns and also had a van service readily available at all times. The views from the terrace were probably one of the best views of any place I have ever been

We were greeted upon arrival with the owners Claudia and Letizia and every day one of them were always available for any our questions or concerns. They made up feel like family at all times

Our rooms were cleaned every day and breakfast was fantastic! I would not hesitate to stay at La Dolce Vita the next time we visit Tropea; I give La Dolce Vita and their staff 5 stars!

Excellent for staying with children as everything is very close (restaurant, beach, stage for evenings, gym etc). clean with sufficient furniture

We spent 5 nights in he hotel, the accommodation was excellent. The rooms was cleaned and towels were changed daily. I appreciate the pleasant attitude of the staff

We had accommodation wiht breakfast, we also used the bar. The breakfast had a large slection and great coffee. The beach is close, we did not need to use the shuttle to the beachthat the hotel offers

The beach (free, you can easily leave your umbrella and towels during your lunch break and equipped beach) and the sea are wonderful

Small rooms and bathrooms for a family, the shuttle should make several trips over several hours because the climb from the sea is tough. Children's entertainment absent, be careful not to slip in the swimming pool

The location is splendid, perhaps at first glance it seemed a little uncomfortable but then I changed my mind, a short walk downhill to go to the beach and then up again by shuttle but also doable on foot (for those who prefer a shuttle also for the gone)

Family-run villa with 8 rooms in all splendid furnishings and outdoor spaces that directly overlook the beach, private and with umbrellas, within an exclusive and very quiet residential co text

Very nice beach, with a great view of Stromboli, close to Michellino Spiaggia (5 minutes by car). The only note for wifi and the reception - could have been a bit better

The beach is perfect, the food is really good, clean rooms and Martina is the greatest host. Definitely would stay here again and recommend it to anyone

The simple but refined cuisine changes every day as requested by the guests. To be hypercritical, one could make a note of the dimly lit room furnished in a classic style, refined but not very practical for holiday use

Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Like a Botanical Garden! We were truly fascinated by the lovingly and beautifully designed garden – it felt like walking through a botanical garden

We had a great stay here! The room (2p) was big enough, nice view and clean! At the pool it was really good: no rushing for beds, quiet, clean and close to the room

They drove us to the beach, to the train station, and even took my daughter to the pharmacy after a mosquito bite – incredibly thoughtful and friendly

Family run hotel and the service they provided was better than any 5 * hotel I have ever stayed in. Rooms were dated but sparkling clean, bit of a walk to the beach however a free shuttle is provided for the beach goers

Amantea's public beach can be reached via an underpass accessible directly from the hotel. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, with fresh, quality products: a wonderful way to start the day

The location couldn’t have been better…we were across the street from the beach. My husband said the Helles draft beer was well carbonated and best in class

After one phone call and 10min the taxi arrived and we were able to go to the beach. The taxi driver came later to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel. After that we went back to our rented apartment

The building is very well-maintained, the room is dated but spotlessly clean; the highlight was the breakfast on the terrace with fresh, freshly picked fruit

We came out of season so didn't get all services available. The lido was closed and did not have any sunbeds or umbrella's available to us

4 stars for the super-kindness and helpfulness of all the staff. To improve the equipment, if you have the peculiarity of receiving dogs and having one of the few beaches in Calabria where dogs can bathe

you should have a little more attention for 4-legged friends. No dedicated basket or bowl, not even a shower on the beach or outside the hotel

Great evening in a friendly atmosphere. The deck is beside the pool. We had good diner with seafood and pizza. I do recommend this place. And thanks to the staff so nice as usual.

Small family hotel about 600 meters from the beach. The food was cooked for a large party and service was a bit slow. Some dishes were overcooked.

Great experience, wonderful, lively, with a space for free car parking space and space for event in all weather conditions. Plus a restaurant with fresh foods that are delicious and enjoyable plus clubbing stage

Remember they have extra hotels you can go for just in case you don't like noise area that is happening there because of marriage ceremonies and other doings happening there, like music
