We came there at 9AM and the room was already ready so we could immediately unpack and go to the nearest beach. Three main things considering Calabria : 1

You MUST have a car if you don't want to have a hicking vacation (even to the nearest beach you have 20 min hardcore hicking, use rentalcars app and do the booking online, for 10 days new Fiat Panda 2018 is 170 euro normal insurance 320 premium insurance) 2

The front desk people were very helpful and patient. We were very close to downtown and could buy a converter just a few blocks from the hotel. It is a nice property with cute balconies

It just so happens that the sea right across from it has a sewage line and walking towards it from under the bridge was a nasal nightmare

The hotel is on a very good location in a small village Santa Domenica which is located just next to the main city in that part of Calabria - Tropea

The hotel is located a few steps from a beautiful sea but in the center of the town, ideal for walking at any time of the day. The hotel in general and the rooms are really spotless and always fragrant

It is not immediately as high as in other places in Calabria as the beach is in an entire inlet of the village even if it is not large. Animation very nice, good and efficient

The morning of our departure, our car had a major breakdown in the hybrid system, and they helped us in every way possible. They provided a tow truck and drove us to the nearby repair shop

Is there air conditioning in the rooms? Is breakfast included? It feels like a 3-star hotel. The sleep quality is 4-star, so I'd give it 5 points. It has a wonderful view of Sicily

The property is in the upper town, which is a long, exhausting climb from the train station (we discovered the following day that there is a public elevator that we could have used; why didn’t the owner tell us?)

Bathroom had no hot water and shower curtain meant water went everywhere. Saving grace was air con was good! Breakfast at Bella vista cafe was a pastry and coffee which was nice

The downside is no instructions provided from the train station (ie use the lift) & instead we had to carry 20kg bags up the hill & stairs in 30 degree heat

The delicious dinner in the covered outdoor-restaurant has an outstanding view to the mediterranean sea and coasts of Tropea. The kitchen use fresh food everyday with cultivated vegetables from the own yard

The rooms/appartements, pool and complex are really clean. Rooms were cleaned by staff everyday. Not comparable to other accommodations we saw in Italy

Enjoyed strolling the roads of quiet Parghelia after dinner at one of the local restaurants. The beach here is truly beautiful and clean, one can see fish swimming around. Only 10 mins from the property

The accommodation is set in tranquil gardens, and from the patio, one can see Strombolli, as it gives a gentle and occasional puff! Magical sunsets viewed from the patio are to be enjoyed every evening before departing for a wonderful dinner, and a glass or two of Calabrian wine

Located a few minutes from the center of Tropea and 10 'from the beaches, it offers studios equipped with all comforts. The only drawback there is no liquid soap (perhaps due to anti-COVID rules)

The same happened for the hot water, in fact at a certain point we held protests in the hall every afternoon threatening compensation. The sea is beautiful, it has a bar that also does dinner and pizzas in the evening

Negatives The resort hires out the whole pool area and bar for private functions and holiday guests are not allowed to use the pool or pool area when a function is held and there were 3 held in our 1 weeks holiday

The pool is also closed from 1pm until 4pm and there is no shouting etc allowed ( so you must keep your children quiet ). There is a kettle in the room but no cups or spoon

The rooms were very clean and the bed was extremely comfy. The furniture around the pool was the best I have ever seen, you could sit there all day in comfort
