This was an awesome place, and the view was great. the only thing was it has almost 50 steps down to the residence.

The greenery is well maintained. On the sea side it is very scenic. Restaurant hours for breakfast start too late. Pool bar at inconvenient hours and closed for lunch

Appreciated the shop and local restaurants nearby. There was a free shuttle to the train station (we visitedTropea)

We stayed at La Taverna for 5 nights in late June. The room was clean, the area was quiet. The swimming pool was perfect, not crowded, and the beach was at a walkable distance

The entertainment was engaging but never intrusive: the entertainers are friendly, well-trained, and manage to create a cheerful atmosphere for both children and adults, with many activities during the day and entertaining evening shows

The resort is well-organized and well-maintained, with plenty of spaces dedicated to children where they can have fun safely. The sea is simply beautiful: clear, clean, and easily accessible water, ideal for children too

Their skills in the entertainment field are nonexistent, and they're not at all proactive. I often had to manage the children myself and let them play with each other on the beach

Nice rooms completely renovated. Friendly staff, ready for every request. Great location with a nice step or slope path to the beach. A lot of pools, one filled with salty water. Fine red sand and clean water

Courteous, helpful and professional staff. Good quality cuisine for a canteen that serves many dozens of people a day. Many beautiful sports activities that are offered. Fairly clean sea and enchanting panorama

The location is perfect - right outside your door is a Main Street with shops, restaurants, and a fantastic view just at the bottom of the hill. Our room is on the top floor and pictures don’t really do justice

This place is a true gem in the heart of Tropea – just like Tropea itself is the pearl of Calabria. The accommodation is run by incredibly kind-hearted people who put all their love and dedication into what they do

We have a nice balcony area with a view of the piazza, a nice skylight in the bathroom, and a great aesthetic as you come up the spiral stairs. Only downside - if you are at least average height, make sure to duck

Every morning, we go down to the breakfast terrace where we have to say stop because the food keeps coming 😅. If you haven’t been to Tropea or you are coming back, you cannot go wrong here

The location is excellent for its size, amenities, cleanliness, and location: right in the historic center but away from the busiest streets, the beach is a pleasant 15-minute walk away, and there's a nearby parking lot where you can easily leave your car

Welcoming and helpful, they went out of their way to make us feel at home, offering recommendations for local restaurants and beaches. Their kindness and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable

There was also a minibar with various drinks, perfect for refreshing after a day at the beach

We had the most perfect stay with Casa Vela. They had a special Luna di Miele suite for us at the very top of the B&B overlooking the sea. The hospitality we received from Alessandro was unbeatable

On a 2nd visit we had the lasagna & also the potato, cheese, ham dish. Tip: Check-out the clothes shop directly opposite (the owner is quite a character)

The fridge was stocked with food and drinks each for a small charge. The location is great: 10 mins from beach and 5 mins from a supermarket about 15 mins from the town centre

Convenient and very hospitable B&B. Is very good for those traveling by train and for first time tourists in Reggio Calabria. You can easily walk to restaurants, museums and do some shopping if your heart desires it.

The position of the B&B is in one of the characteristic streets of the small village of Chianalea, from which you can easily walk to Scilla or the beach of Marina Grande

My private bathroom was outside the bedroom but was spotless and had a decent shower. The area felt very safe but those narrow streets do get busy with lots of cars all honking their horns at every moment
