Great hotel - modern and friendly- great top floor bar and pool area.

The breakfast buffet was fresh, the coffee was incredible, and I’m still dreaming of their limoncello spritzes

Wonderfull setting with a magnificent seaview. Good breakfast as well as dinner, setting on the terrace is magnificent, large pool which was great to swim. A jewel in Castellabate.

The food, be it pizza, pasta or seafood is all freshly prepared, Luigi's pizza's are phenominal and the paccheri di mare is so good

The place is located in a great position with an amazing sea view. The owner and the personnel are very kind and helpful.

Amazing sea views are to be taken in from the restaurant and at night you can see the Amalfi coast and Capri lit up

Been going to the hotel colleverde for the last 20 years, the Ianni family who own the hotel never cease to amaze me with the warm welcomes and beautiful food. My little slice of paradise, keep up the good work guys 👍👌

The breakfast buffet had everything you would love to have in the morning and the hotel even provided towels if you needed any for use on the public beach areas in the case you did not want to use the rental parts of the beach

Many places to rent a beach chair with an umbrella but hotel is partnered with a location which you can buy at hotel or you can swim for free just right off the hotel but you will need to contend with the boulders (We found a spot)

If you want a real Beach in amalfi, this town is it. The staff were extremely accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, just what you need. And we drove so having the ability to park there made this choice easy

Be aware that chairs and umbrellas on the beach across the street should be reserved and up to €45 per day. Apparently this is quite common and they made us aware of this before we arrived

Clean and safe. Good breakfast for an Amalfi Coast Hotel. Walkable to everywhere. Good sea view. Big and well designed family rooms.

Wish it was open slightly later, but you’re allowed to still hang around the pool after 5pm, just not it in. It’s fun to just wander around the hotel and learn about the different art within it

Beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable room. Nicely decorated indoor with antiques everywhere. Front desk staffs were especially thoughtful and polite

The hotel mattress is very soft and comfortable, you can see the sea view from the window, and you can see the sea view and Mount Vesuvius at the breakfast area on the top floor

Transportation was not as convenient as those located beneath the hill but the view made it wrothy for the walk. May take cable car instead if in rush. Breakfast included variety of food, taste was okay

We booked here because of the pool and outdoor terraces and common areas and we could not use these areas because of outside events booked by the hotel

On the day we were able to use the pool at 5 pm because we had to vacate due to yet another wedding that was happening that evening

The grounds and thermal pool are also beautiful! Everyone working at La Villarosa is excellent shout out to Marina she is wonderful they all are, oh and the rates cannot be beat for a hotel with so much character and charm! I almost forgot to mention the spectacular view from the dining absolutely beautiful

The food, as you would imagine an Italian Mama's to be, served in a glass rooftop room with a beautiful view of the sea. I am gluten free and nothing was too much trouble for me to enjoy the experience

What a lovely vintage hotel ! There were lots of places to hang out. The warm thermal pool surrounded by a lush tropical garden was beautiful. The staff service was impeccable

Hotel La Villarosa Terme is a real gem! Location is perfect everything you need or need to get to right outside front door. The hotel is a beautiful old and quirky hotel tons and tons of real old world charm

I was reading some of the past reviews where the lack of wifi is mentioned. this is not and should not be an issue this is a hotel were you go to escape for a bit

There is no need to stay in expensive and backward accommodations just because it is close to the beach, and bathe in the palm-sized Amalfi Beach full of people

Everything at Hotel Amalfi was wonderful! Our rooms were always clean and comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly. The staff for breakfast was great, and always available

There was a large variety of items for breakfast! From all types of fruit, scrambled eggs and bacon, amazing selection of pastries and dessert items, granolas, yogurts, fruit juices, and the cappuccinos were a special treat in the morning!

We particularly enjoyed our breakfast every morning. What could be more peaceful than sitting on the roof under the canopy watching the gulls glide about with church bells in the background

We cancelled the next dinner we had ordered, and then we were never asked again about what food we wanted (luckily, but again no oversight of processes). This isn’t because we are fussy, but it was truly terrible

There was no real info given other than breakfast and dinner times. We found the WiFi info ourselves, but did not know, for instance, there was a hotel shuttle, as well as many other things

- No tea/coffee facilities in rooms. I know this is common in some hotels in Europe, but as a 4 star I would expect it to have them. - Huge and heavy keys for the doors

Really, in this day and age? Also meant there was no possibility of having 2 keys for the same room which is impractical

- Breakfast was 7-10, and they started clearing away about 9:55, so if you went late you needed to grab things before it was removed. They weren’t exactly warm and welcoming at any point during our stay

The 10 pools (8 thermal) were excellent but we were disappointed to find out our 7 and 9yr olds could not go into the thermal pools so were limited to 2 pools and the sea

Great to have our own reserved sunbeds by the pool, and to be able to swim and snorkel on the private beach. Almost all the staff were polite and friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful

One note - it’s a large property and requires lots of walking and steps/stairs. You can rent towels for the pools, and they will assign you sunbeds for the duration of your stay so they belong to you

The pools were spectacular and the views were incredible! The snack bar staff and front desk staff were very kind and helpful. It was a little difficult to find people to help with luggage and spa services.

The wine is my only criticism, we ordered a bottle of wine from the wine list which was very expensive, 55 euros, and I’ve had better for under £7 from M&S but generally bar prices are only a little more than the local bars etc Many bars and restaurants locally just a 5 min walk up the road and some really excellent fresh pasta restaurants down the hill, fish to die for also All in all can’t wait to...

As a solo traveller I was delighted to receive a room upgrade on arrival and was shown around the hotel by a lady on reception which was a very nice touch to help settle in

Our stay at Hotel Mediterraneo was ‘outstanding’ from the moment we stepped into the entrance. We were greeted by smiley, kind and courteous staff who offered us a seat and a glass of Prosecco as we checked in

Breakfast was served on the main restaurant with a wonderful Mediterranean view of Sorrento. I enjoyed the mix of a la carte dishes with the buffet. Staff was ready to attend immediately. Food was really good as well.

Elevator access to beach club. They have a shuttle to town center which is nice. Taxis are quite costly 20-30 Euros for 1 mile trip to the Marina. 350 Euro for round trip for dinner in Positano

You can easily take ferries all day to Capri and Positano. Sorrento is flat and easy to walk. If you choose to stay in Positano over Sorrento good luck with the endless stairs and crowds of people

The back of the hotel hosts a small bar and inviting pool overlooking a scenic mountain and beach

Nice room with swimming pool available,but the bathroom was a little outdated. A downside is that there’s no parking at the hotel and not much parking in the area

Breakfast was OK but you wouldn’t want to do it every day for long – the coffee machine was good though. We didn’t realize that Sorrento is itself on a cliff so the area is hilly and windy, looking at various maps

The hotel is well staffed and friendly. The room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was ok. No cool a/c, only heater. Next to a church, the bells go off every 1/4 of an hour from 7 am to 11pm.

Came here on a school trip, lovely views of the ocean from room 104 and the rooms and bathrooms themselves were very nice however could've had bigger rooms as they are a little small

One thing that would’ve been handy to know is that when you coming by train the best station to get is Piano de Sorento, as it is a mere 700 m downhill stroll directly to the hotel

The room was perfect for a relaxing time, good quality fittings and fixtures, the bed was very clean and comfortable and the spacious balcony had a great view of Mt Vesuvius! But the staff were the jewel in the crown, family run hotels offer a superior experience, they have skin in the game! The restaurant staff were exceptionally attentive and very friendly while the food was top notch for both dinner...

We even got to meet the hotel owner Francesco, a very respectable, warm, classy individual. A great time was had by my wife and myself, we would definitely recommend this excellent hotel

A swimming pool with many deckchairs, showers and a changing room is at guests' disposal. The property is surrounded by a beautiful garden. I highly recommend this charming place

Summer stays at Villa Luisa We stayed again after a week in Tuscany and again found the staff super friendly and helpful. It is a short distance from the airport so very convenient. The beach nearby is a plus.

The highlight is just a 3 minutes walk to the public beach and a 5-7 minutes walk to a private beach (£9 for a sunbed and £4 for an umbrella). The train station is also a 3 minutes walk away which is very convenient

Yet, I would like to suggest to put some kartons of juice on the table for breakfast - the machine you have delivers really poor quality drinks for breakfast is my view. But again, thank you for this time

If you stay here you should try the bruschetta with a nice aperol spritz at the pool, it is delicious!

Amazing property beautiful views good location by the beach highly recommend

I don't speak Italian but that never got in the way of friendly conversations. There is a garden, outdoor and indoor pool, hot tub, steam room Turkish bath and cold shower

A little dated but I think that adds to the charm. 2 minutes walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and il fungo. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming

Beautiful views of sea - great food and wonderful server Angelo. We ate every meal there on beautiful terrace with food cooked to order - salads, pizza, lasagna. Breakfast had great selections too
