My single room actually had a comfortable bed and was on the back, without sea view but with a balcony on the swimming pool the main. I have appreciated the absolute silence

Hotel Grand de la Ville is elegant, comfortable, and perfectly located. The staff are warm and attentive, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the rooftop pool offers stunning views

Since we chartered a car for the trip, the hotel was easy to find and was very close to the beach, about a 20-minute walk. The room was just okay, with no view of the sea. The breakfast was great with lots of fruits

A wonderful place to stay in Sorrento

The really good hotels here are by the sea, have their own “cliff access”, their own beach

For this price, I will not come again for a hotel that is not by the sea and has no beach

I walked into a charming little village. There were a wonderful series of patios with stunning ocean views. The breakfast was very good (and there were more stunning views). It would be a wonderful place for a holiday

Fantastic 5 star experience! We stayed in a deluxe room for a long weekend getaway and could not have been happier. Excellent service, delicious food and truly welcoming atmosphere made for a great stay. We will be back!

Oh my! What a lovely hotel! What a fabulous location! We stayed here on the first night of a tour because it is relatively close to Paestum where we were going the next day

We joked that we wanted to stay here for the whole tour. Elevators to take us down to the sandy beach. It was so warm that a number of people swam even though it was late afternoon - evidently the water was so warm

Everything was perfect and the hotel is located in a great location with beach access and chairs and umbrellas. lunch by the beach was fantastic and the staff was over all ver attentive

The water pressure was great with lots of hot water. Access and lighting is via a key card for security. My room 105 had a small balcony which overlooked the bay and a garden with lots of umbrellas and seating

We’ve stayed at beautiful hotels around the world, but the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento is truly in a class of its own

From the moment you walk through the gates, the property feels like a private, elegant estate perched above the sea — lush gardens, citrus trees, manicured pathways, and a timeless sense of charm

Fresh pastries, fruit, Italian specialties, and made-to-order options, all enjoyed on a terrace with sweeping views… the perfect start to each day. Evenings at the hotel feel like a scene from a classic Italian film

And the sunsets — especially from the rooftop — are something we’ll never forget. Watching the sky fade into soft pinks over the marina with a glass of wine in hand was truly magical

There’s live music drifting through the gardens, guests settling in with an aperitivo, and a warm, elegant energy that makes you want to linger

Hospitality at its finest if you’re staying here definitely have them help you plan and reserve your dining or any excursions you would like to experience. It’s a perfect location on the island as well

The hotel has lots of potential but lacked in many ways. The view was beautiful if you are at the pool but don’t expect every room to have the view. The rooms bathroom are renovated a bit but still not a 4/5 star level

Hotel La Scalinatella is a true gem in Capri. Impeccable service, elegant and peaceful atmosphere. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms — beautifully decorated, comfortable, and with a spectacular view

The staff-to-guest ratio felt like 3:1 - there was always someone ready to help, and their attention to detail was remarkable. Morgano graciously upgraded us to a suite, which was absolutely beautiful

Service: Having stayed at countless hotels as a former consultant, I can honestly say I've never experienced service this exceptional as a regular, first-time guest

It overlooks the sea and mount Vesuvius in the distance. The jacuzzi is available to book for free for 40 minutes at a time but we didn't end up using it as we prefer the beach

The sandy beach was gorgeous with lots of loungers which we took advantage of most days. There's also some reasonably priced bars and cafes close by to keep you hydrated and some clean toilets

We had a lovely sea view looking across to the bay of Naples. Our balcony was a bit on the small side but adequate

The small private beach is a 10 minute walk downhill from the hotel (there is a shuttle bus provided on request). The attendant at the beach was very friendly and helpful

The walk down to the beach is very steep but we didn't end up using the shuttle bus as it's not as bad as you'd think walking back up

The staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was pretty good, it was a buffet which didn't change but had decent options and lots of nice coffee and juice available. We would definitely stay here again

From the moment we arrived to the port our shuttle came to pick us up promptly. Everyone was extremely kind we even got a map with tips and info about events and restaurants in the area as well as bus transport

Notwithstanding I opted for Capri and the hotel San Michele drew my attention and here I am!! Wonderful!! Bruno, Roberta Eduardo Andrea and especially the cook Francesco , O pennello, are sublime!! Marco at the swimming pool is great and kind!! The restaurant is one of the finest in the whole island!! I fell in love with this place!!!!!

Charming Oasis Excellent location in Ana capri with a free shuttle service to and from the ferry port

If you’re lucky enough to book an ocean view balcony room it’s well worth a few extra bucks

The entire hotel needs a little love (especially outside). Boxes and things in the lobby area. Let me say, however, that the staff was nice, the rooms are clean and best shower (except no door makes it cold)

We only wish the menu at the beach resort had better offerings. If going to Sorrento look no further! Stay here without a doubt!!

Max Pollio at the front desk said that he would continue to contact the police at the station in an attempt to find my bag. It was a new suitcase but I had a new (never worn) 700EU pair of Ferragamo shoes in there

The views, the room and amenities, the service, the beach club, the drinks, this hotel had it all! Also, the best hotel shower we have ever encountered!! The comfort of the beds, pillows and every aspect of the room were unmatched

So the hotel was amazing and we will stay there on our next Italy trip but you cannot get better individual care than at this hotel. When you stay there ask for Max, tell him Robert sent you !

The walkout balcony with a hot tub, overlooking the bay was breathtaking for sunrise and sunsets. I had my suitcase lost/stolen at the Rome train station

Wow, what can I say!! This was collectively our favorite hotel on this trip to Italy (and we stayed in 5 different five star rated hotels)

The suite and property as a whole were super clean! The gourmet food at their II Tridente Restaurant was mouth watering!! But their main attraction was their amazing staff! Particularly Anna at the Front Desk and Luigi and Luca at the bar

Wonderful meals, breakfast patio with superb views, clean generous size rooms, what more can I say. we will be returning to the Poseidon!

We love our getaways here as the location is walkable to everything along the beach boardwalk, the staff is kind and helpful, rooms are spacious and clean, lovely reception/bar are and fantastic pool facing the sea! Excellent location for visiting Capri, Pompeii, Sorrento, Naples amd the Amalfi Coast

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond for our request for help with getting a ride. The views were perfect for the ocean being right on the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel

Best value, location on the coast Staying on the coast at Miramare feels like being in a boat at sea… except you hear the waves instead of feeling them

The hotel has great views of Naples Gulf from the room’s terrace. The room itself is not tiny but pretty plain vanilla. The pool is nice. Staff are excellent. There are nice places to dine on the nearby shoreline.

Pedro, Francesco and Cristian were simply AMAZING!!!! We took a day boat trip at their suggestion and it was phenomenal as well as our captain, Luigi. The hotel is extremely close to everything and clean

Eludes opulence but if you scratch below the the surface, cracks appear. Gardens & pool area are beautiful, restaurant excellent, service staff friendly and attentive, reception scripted. 3* at most.

Wonderful lobby and excellent room. The grounds have numerous orange trees and we got fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast

We did not utilize the pool or spa and spent our days seeing the ruins of Herculaneum, Oplontis, Villa San Marco, and Villa San Ariana

We had a short two-day stay at La Medusa in Castellammare, and it was nothing short of wonderful. The hotel and grounds were absolutely beautiful, with lush gardens and a serene atmosphere

We also travelled to Naples and saw the docks, saw the Duomo, and saw the amazing MANN (MUSEO ARCHEALOGICA NATIONALE NAPLES`0

Service and surroundings were impeccable - Treated like VIPs and SPA Facilities were fantastic gardens are a dream and pool and dining are both highly rated - Our great waiter Giancarlo made our meal even better

On the top floor a beautiful garden and pool provides a lovely spot to sunbathe and relax

This property was amazing! The staff made you feel like you were royalty and you wanted for nothing. The view of the beach was awesome! They had a shuttle to take us back and forth to the city center

WOW! The customer service at this hotel is the best I’ve ever experienced in my life

From changing our dinner in the dining room to room service MID MEAL because we got a work call, to printing out my husband‘s birthday concert tickets and putting them in an envelope, to giving him a birthday cake on his birthday, and a farewell dessert when we were leaving, to one of the ladies working there literally giving me the pen out of her hands to use

The food was great and the service was even better I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else this place is 10/10 I look forward to coming back soon & I also came all the way from New York they make you feel at home thanks to all the staff at relais Paradiso👍👍

The location overlooking the sea was excellent. The room was pleasant- a junior suite. Service was very pleasant and efficient. It was the start of the season so not many guests. There is no private beach as advertised

Had a great experience at this hotel. Perfect location just a walk down the stairs to the beach or up the driveway into town. Room had an electric shade and looked right out to the water

AC was a bit slow to cool but worked otherwise

Beautiful hotel, incredible location, and wonderful staff! We spent a full week in Room 58, located on the top floor at the end of the building—offering breathtaking views of the mountains, beach, and port

Staff was exceptional and paid attention to our needs. The beautiful room provided an incredible view of the ocean and a beautiful escape to relax.

There were days they came in and cleaned the hotel room twice. Thank you for a fantastic stay here. I would definitely book this hotel again when I come back to Positano. It was a fantastic experience

The rooms were clean, large and an amazing location and view. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was excellent as well. I will recommend it.

Note that cars cannot access the property directly, so we rolled our luggage a short distance down charming cobblestone streets—unexpected, but part of the Positano experience! Arriving early in the morning, we were greeted with a gorgeous breakfast overlooking the beach, and the kind staff even had our room ready by 1 p

We loved this room for the view and the wonderful deck. Breakfast and restaurant are wonderful. Location the best in Positano.

4 night stay at Hotel America at Marina di Camerota Italy Had a great stay lovely little hotel friendly staff they met all our needs clean room great food u could choose a Lacart menu or set menu buffet style breakfast served on terrace or restaurant there is a swimming pool or if u choose the beach its a few minutes away there is transfer to take u there n back we loved it

****** please be advised- ask for the costs of everything before you drink/eat/use anything. There is a cost for towel use, for breakfast, laundry service, all drinks at the pool, etc

To say they have accommodated our needs is an understatement; they have all gone above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible stay here. The pool is clean and pristine

They accommodated the needs of all members of our group- from the eldest of us, to the toddlers! They also went out of their way to ensure that one of us who had to work online had access to the fastest wifi and technological support

All in all, this hotel has the charm and amenities of an upscale costal boutique hotel, with the charm and tender care of a small family run bnb. We cannot recommend this sweet little spot enough

The breakfast was delicious and fresh- all while eating on a gorgeous terrace overlooking the ocean and olive tree grove. They also cleaned and pressed our laundry for a fee

We visited in week 41 - and enjoyed listening to the sound of the sea through the open door to the nice balcony, which had amazing view over Salerno bay with the Amalfi coast and Capri on the horizon

I was in room 308 - see photos - very comfortable, with a balcony and a view of the Mediterranean Sea. I slept well in my King-Size Bed. The following morning, we had Breakfast here

Could be excellent hotel as perfect position and has style but poor management makes it average. No internet in bedroom Lovely sea and wide views from superior room. Filthy shower next to thermal pool

Reported but again management ignored. Lovely pool area but recliners not perfectly cleaned - end of season grubby look. Staff at pool were every kind. No soap in pool toilet and urine smell

The room faced the pool, was very quiet, and kept clean and tidy by housekeeping. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, a big thank you to Giacomo on reception for his help trying to locate a case lost by BA

Room was compact, clean, and did the job, nice size outdoor balcony over looking pool area which we had paid for / requested. Room was fully serviced on a daily basis (Grazie!)

A group of 8 people have just returned to this wonderful and enchanting property, the room with a wonderful sea view and clean

You can find the hotel by the beach though the road that is close to the hotel can be a little bit bad

Off season visit so unable to make an informed choice. Bar, restaurant and other facilities were all closed. As I was the only guest I had the biggest balcony

Great train links to Sorrento, Pompeii, Vesuvius and Napoli. Boats to Capri, Positano, Sorrento depart right outside the hotel. - Beach & Poolside: Beach was rocky but lovely (sea shoes recommended)

Cons: - Pools: Misleading advertising—only one usable pool (a saltwater pool in the beach club), open to the public and with no shallow end. The other pools shown belong to the spa and to use them cost extra

- Resort Feel: Good if you just want to lounge around pool and beach and eat/drink in the hotel

Beach toys/inflatables available. Drinks reasonably priced—cocktails good value. - Tennis: Free grass court (worn but playable), rackets and balls provided

Pros and cons: Pros: - Staff & Service: Really kind and helpful, especially reception staff and Luigi at the pool bar

- Apartment: Clean, spacious, with a beautiful terrace and stunning bay views. - Shuttle & Transport: Free hourly shuttle with a friendly driver. Last return at 10pm, but the 15-min walk via steps was easy enough

The hotel is very convenient to reach, few minutes from the Napoli Central Train station. The 2 Metro lines are also very close so exploring the city becomes that much easier. The rooms were clean with adequate space

We’ve stayed at Ibis hotels before but this was definitely the best and better equipped than other hotels we’ve stayed at this trip. Plenty of hanging,shelves etc

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Sounds of trains in and out of the station with windows open but we'll blocked with double panes when windows closed

The hotel has an excellent location, close to the train station, making it convenient to visit nearby cities like Pompeii, Sorrento, and Rome

You do not get a reduced rate for multiple nights so why a reduced service ? The air conditioning did not seem to be able to be controlled which mean we were quite cold most of the time

When I enquired about some thing being provided early, even in the room, I was told - NO in no uncertain terms. The place lacked any atmosphere - especially the 'deserted' bar area

It seemed as though they did not expect people to stay for long so would not notice ! Some of our tours started very early meaning missing breakfast
